Author's Note: Yeah Hi um listen there are a few things that you should know about why this was written before you actually read it, see last night I had a bunch of friends over and we watched James and the Giant Peach. Now halfway through it or maybe it was when Centipede was fighting off the pirates, someone hijacked my laptop and went through my files. They saw scraps of this James and the Giant Peach story that I was working on and they the part where I injure Mr. Grasshopper and they kept pestering me to post up the story. Only problem is that I have three opened stories already and one of them is going to keep me busy for a while so the latest I could have this up is like two years from now. But they kept annoying me until I would post it up so here it is.

Grasshopper dashed quickly through Carnegie Hall, avoiding the other musicians as they were getting ready to perform the next piece. He thought to himself what on Earth Diane would want to talk about so close to curtain time when he finally reached the backstage entrance/exit. The cold December air hit him full force and he instantly wished that he had brought his coat before venturing out. Reluctantly Grasshopper stepped down off the small platform that stood one or two inches off the ground. He looked around at the old abandon alley way; it had snow covering everything, from the broken down dumpster to all the tossed boxes.

Grasshopper shuddered once again and wondered what could be keeping Diane. Snow began to fall again and suddenly without any warning Grasshopper felt that something was amiss; there was some malicious feeling in the air and it did not bode well for him at all. His heart began to beat rapidly at the unseen danger, he turned away from the alley way and turned to go back to the safety and the warmth that was the Music Hall. But before he could even touch the doorknob he felt a coarse rope wrap around his neck.

The sheer force of the sudden attack on him was enough to make his monocle go flying off in a random direction, leaving him completely blind. Instinctively Grasshopper raised his four hands and clawed at whoever was choking him, sadly for him though the man was wearing gloves so Grasshopper didn't do any damage. The person who was choking him tightened the grip of the rope around Grasshopper's neck; he was losing air fast and his vision, blurry as it was, began to fade out and turn to darkness.

It wasn't until then that Grasshopper had a most brilliant idea; to kick whoever was strangling him. He lifted up his right leg and gave the person who was choking him the most powerful kick he had ever done in his life, even more powerful than when he and James were getting the seagulls back or when he was trying up Spiker and Sponge. The kick must have worked perfectly because no sooner had he delivered the kick than he heard the sound of a bone being snapped in two.

The perpetrator instantaneously released Grasshopper when his femur was broken and howled out in pain. Grasshopper fell to the ground on his knees gasping for air as he blindly searched for his monocle. Grasshopper thought he might have found his monocle and stood up quickly when the sound of gunshots rang out through the empty alley way. He gasped as he looked down and saw that he had been shot; there were two clean bullet holes that went right through his chest. He was stunned temporarily as the reality set in that he truly had been shot; Mr. Grasshopper gasped as blood made its way to his throat, he hacked and coughed violently as the blood sprayed from his lips. His strength was gone and his legs gave out on him; Grasshopper collapsed to the ground groaning in pain as his blood pooled around him.

The shooter shakily stood up and with incredible strength and some trouble grabbed Grasshopper's legs and began to drag him out of the alley way to a black car.

Author's Note: Yeah I know it sucks but my friends won't leave me alone until it was up so here it is, a really crappy one-shot. Please don't flame me I really can't handle any stress or crap like that now. I'm sorry if you hate it but if you see something wrong or if you can offer some words on how to improve this then let me know. Okay bye see ya.
