Sheriff Scooter is seen hopping by one early morning while he whistled. Hearing a door creaking open a bit, this makes Scooter turn around in surprise to see nobody is there.
"Hmm." Scooter replies to himself, thinking it's only his imagination before he continues on his way down the road, whistling still.
A sign near a room's front door says 'Protected by Anti-Pesto' on it.
In the room, some sort of wingless alligator-looking creature is seen passing by what appeared to be a garden gnome that's near some pumpkins. Unknown to the creature, the gnome slowly turns its head and its eyes flash red, which signaled an alarm back at Larry and Noodle's house.
At they're house, they're beds, which had been hooked up to an invention Larry made for the home, make them slide down and land on 2 chairs, before the machine dresses both Larry and Noodle up and gives them a cup of coffee.
Going into their car, Larry and Noodle then head on their way to the place where the alarm had went off. Larry slowly looked around through the door's hole. In a sudden flash, the cucumber saw the alligator-like creature as it moves about in the room, making him quickly turn back around to look at Noodle.
"Ready?" Larry asked his anthropomorphic dog.
Noodle's beady eyes widen eagerly.
"Set..." Larry says, turning to face the door.
"Go!" Larry exclaims, swiftly opening the door with Noodle speedily rushing into the room before he starts chasing after the creature. "Good job, Noodle. Now, direct him to me."
Noodle made the creature fearfully turn and rush towards Larry. Making the creature try to stop and continue running away from Larry also, the cucumber pull out a long yellow grabber-type object.
"Ha! You're plan ends here, thief!" Larry says, managing to swiftly grab the creature by its belly.
Looking at Larry, the creature nervously chuckles.
"Oh, my prize pumpkin." Madame Blueberry gasps happily, entering the room before going over to her over sized pumpkin. "You've save it, Anti-Pesto. Thank you."
"Aw, it was nothing, Madame..." Larry began.
The creature abruptly held onto the pumpkin with a grin, making the horrified cucumber gasp and try to pull the creature back and away from the pumpkin.
"Don't worry, Madame." Larry tells her, struggling.
Noodle comes to the rescue and bops the creature on the head hard, making it dizzily fall to the ground by letting go of the pumpkin.
"Oh, my goodness. Thank you, Mr. Larry." Madame gratefully says to him with relief.
"All in a night's work, Madame Blueberry." Larry tells her with a proud smile as the creature struggles to get free.
"Hey, he's a cute little thing, isn't he? Wow. You'd never believe they'd cause so much damage like this." Mr. Lunt comments, who also has entered the room.
"Oh, he may only look innocent." Larry tells the gourd. "But left to his own devices, this animal is the major monster of destroying our vegetation."
Leaving the room, Larry and Noodle get back into their car.
"Job well done, Noodle." Larry tells his dog, making him happily bark. "Subject defeated and neutralized."
"Bless you, Anti-Pesto." Pa Grape calls out, watching both Larry and Noodle as they drive back to their home. "With you out there protecting our veg, the most important event of the year is safe."
"And I hope they give those bad pest a lifelong lesson." Madame Blueberry says with a stern look.
"Don't worry, that'll be taken care of, Madame." Pa Grape assures her with a smile.
