It surrounds

It rebounds

It hurts

It pains delight

Makes joy

Seem like a dream

A dream too far away

The sun nor moon

Never come up

Forever surrounded by darkness

It slowly

Comes up my back

Around my neck

Making it hard to breathe

Forever making me feel

Like an eagle in a cage

Forever denied to soar

Forever denied to feel

I slowly

Crawl into bed

Pull up the covers

And dream

A dreamless

Dream

And as I wake

For the next day

My fears come back

Into play

I slowly take a bath

Put on my clothes

And then the hate

That forever surrounds me

Comes up my back

Around my neck

Making it hard to breathe

Then suddenly

My breathing

Stops
