Disclaimer: This is a piece of fan fiction so it is purely fictional, none of this is true and will not appear in an up - and - coming episode of LWT's London's Burning or The Bill although it would be very good seeing a crossover episode and my writing being used, then I'd be rich :)

Authors Notes: Um... this is a short story... I was bored so I decided to make another crossover fic, cause I like writing them (obv. or I wouldn't do them), they're a challenge 'cause they sometimes don't work. I've never actually written a The Bill fic before and have written plenty of LB fics. I'm going on a bit now, so I'll end my notes. Apologies is this fic turns out rubbish... I'm loosing inspiration as I carry on.

"I'm so hungry," Mickey complained.

"What's new? You're always hungry," Kate replied.

"I haven't eaten for hours," He grumbled.

"Nor have I," She replied, "We have been sitting her for hours... wait a moment... isn't that our man?" She said noticing a white male, who was around 6ft who was of a well dressed appearence, walking down the street. The man looked over his shoulder self - consciously, as if someone may either be following or watching him.

Mickey picked up the camera on the back seat of the car and began taking photo's as Kate whispered in the radio to DI Cullen that they'd spotted their guy.

The man knocked on a door to a flat about a chippie called 'Stanley's'. A man answered the door and it was apparent to Mickey and Kate, that they were obviously associated. Mickey took some photo's as they entered the flat and closed the door.

Sunhill CID had been after their man for a matter of months now. His name was Eddie "Ed" Townsend, who seemed to like acting as if he was a big time business man like he was Bill Gates or something, he did wear the clothes to match it. But really he was a big time crook, his business came from the drugs trade. He'd send young, naïve, clueless teenagers out to countries such as Jamaica to smuggle back various class A drugs, which he'd then sell on to other dealers around London and Essex. If his kids were ever found in possession at customs, they'd never fit him up or if they did, they would have a price to pay.

19 - year - old "Fran" was found dead in an alley off the Jasmin Allen estate. She was a known associate of Townsend.

"What I could do for a Korma right now..."

Just then there was a huge bang! A ball of fire exploded around the flat and the glass in the windows blew out and shattered on the pavement below.

Kate and Mickey both jumped at the same time.

"Shiiit..." He commented.

"Guv..." Kate began, "The flat's just blown up!"

"What?!" Cullen questioned.

"The flat has just blown up in flames."

"Ok, get onto CAD, lets get the fire brigade sent down there."

"You've gotta admit she's good looking," Adam argued, "Come on Sal!"

"I'm not telling you guys that I think another woman is attractive," She replied.

"Sally just say she's pretty or something... I'll win my bet with Ronnie here..."

Adam and Hi - Ho had been arguing for the past half an hour over two tennis players and Adam was trying to get Sally on her side as the voting was currently a tie.

Sally still didn't reply, she wasn't going to give either of the two the satisfaction on winning. "Anyone watch Bad Girls last night?" She asked, hoping the subject may change away from tennis.

"That's girlie crap," Adam mumbled.

Sally sighed, "If anyone wants me, I'll be cleaning in the gym..." She said wandering out of the mess.

"Talk about miserable..." Adam said to the watch who were sitting at the table -- Hi - Ho, Recall and George. Coleman was talking to D.O. Griggs out the front and Geoff was "working" in his office. Hyper was off sick with food poisoning after eating some creame cheese on bagels, which both had been around in his kitchen for way too long.

Just then the bells went down, Sally ran down the stairs and ripped the call off of the fax, "Fire in the flat above Stanley's fish and chip shop on the Canley High Street. Persons reported inside."

The watch jumped into the appliances and set on their journey towards the fire.

Kate and Mickey walked towards the appliances after they parked.

"DC Spears and DC Webb, Sunhill CID," Kate said introducing herself and Mickey as they showed Geoff their warrant cards. "A suspect is in the building and we'd like to take him in for questioning, so can you please ask your crew not to let him get away. We're not sure how many people are in the building either so... just don't let anyone away."

Geoff nodded, then rallied the watch and told them the situation.

Kate radioed Cullen, who then sent out various pandas and patrol cars. Tony Stamp arrived with Polly Page, Cass Rickman with Sam Harker and Des Taviner with Reg Hollis.

"Recall BA control... Sally, Adam and Hi - Ho, can you get kitted up and enter the building. George can you keep control posted," Geoff said to the watch as Shadbrook arrived and Steve Prentiss began to tell his watch what to do.

"Late again huh Melissa?" Adam question her teasingly, "Looks like we beat you to the fire again," He said with a grin.

She was unresponsive, she'd had enough with his constant annoying comments.

Sally, Adam and Hi - Ho entered the flat after George broke the door down with an axe. The door definitely didn't want to be opened easily as a couple of chain locks had been fitted and fastened on the opposite site.

Adam, followed by Sally, then Hi - Ho climbed the staircase. They reached the top and opened the door to the flat. Finding a teenage girl sitting in the far corner of the room. A middle - aged man crouched on the floor and "Ed" standing by the sofa. Adam approached "Ed" who tried to pass him, "Oi, wait a second..." Adam said, taking the guy by the arm.

"Ed" flipped his arm back at Adam, trying to hit him as Hi - Ho approached and they both took him by the arm.

Sally had managed to get the girl to her feet and gently walked her towards the door as Ben and Melissa entered the fire, "There's another guy... down there," Sally said, gesturing with her eyes towards the man.

Melissa and Ben helped the man to his feet, as Sally walked down the staircase with the girl closely followed by Hi - Ho and Adam who had "Ed" in a tight grip.

Sally was visible from the accumulating crowd of fire fighters, paramedics and police officers outside the building. She was greeted by Kate and a paramedic as they reached the outside. Kate ordered Polly to accompany the girl to the ambulance to get checked out and then to take her onto the nick. After a couple of minutes Adam and Hi - Ho followed with "Ed" who'd began to struggle even more as well as throwing threats to the two of them as well as cursing the fact of being seen and caught out.

"Cass... Sam!" Kate called them over to her, "Get him in the car!"

"It's you!" Eddie screamed at Mickey, "I could've guessed you weren't an associate of Billy G."

"Getting senile in your old age are you Eddie?" Mickey patronisingly questioned.

"Bastard!" He yelled, lunging forward towards Mickey, as Cass and Sam grabbed him by the arms and dragged him towards the car.
