Elliot's Birthday

It was a warm and sunny December day in the Timberline Forest and Boog and the others were getting stuff ready for Elliot's birthday. McSquizzy was putting balloons on the tree branches, Ursa, got a table ready, and Boog was making a cake on the table for Elliot. There were 37 candles on the cake.

"Hurry, Boog. Before Elliot sees us," Ursa said to Boog. "Don't worry, honey. I'm hurryin'." replied Boog. "Man, this is gonna be so great!" said Boog. "Just wait until Elliot sees all this! He's gonna be so surprised!" "Yes, he sure is," said Ursa.

A minute later, Boog and the gang heard footsteps. Boog gasped and said, "He's coming! Everybody hide!" And with that being said, all the animals hid. And Elliot came. "Wow! What a beautiful sight! All the balloons and—" Elliot stopped when he saw the cake. "CAKE!" he yelled. He ran over to it to gobble it up, but just as he went near the cake, everyone jumped out and yelled, "SURPRISE!" Elliot ran a few inches back of being startled. "Oh man, you guys almost gave me a heart attack!" said Elliot. "Sorry, Elliot," said Boog. "By the way, happy birthday." "Aw, thank you, Boog! That's so kind of you!", replied the delighted Elliot. "Now make a wish and blow out your candles," Boog told Elliot, and the deer did so. Everyone cheered and started applauding. This has been the most wonderful day for Elliot.
