Chapter 1 making the right choices

Hi my name is Rose and I'm here to tell you about how I turned form a geeky school kid into a first rate song artist. Our story starts in our special spot in the forest my friends are helping me practice and tell me their honest opinion.

"One step at a ."

"Wow, that was great Rosy you could become a great singer and make your living out of it!" said Kailey, she's my best friend.

"Well, she is good but not that good, AMY can sing better." Said Sonic. He's my boyfriend. He is always saying that's Amy Ross is better at everything. I'm thinking I should dump him. And besides he is cheating on me with Amy.

"dude, you really need to stop down' in Rosy and killing her dreams mean I know that she is always bugging you but she loves you man so stop hurting her feelings…"he said .that was Albert he is my best friend and he is always helping me out with my homework and writing my music.

*RING RING*

"That's the bell… see you in class!" Said Sonic who seemed in a big hurry.

Later in class…

"attention students, the contest will start in 30 mins at the library and whoever wins the contest for best singing will go live on TV with Jordan sparks and Justin bibber , good luck students!" said our principle naruto.

In the library...

"Go get 'em girl you can do it!"Said Kailey.

"Yeah you can do it Rosy!"Said Albert.

"H, Hey rose um I just wanted to say uh good luck on the contest and yeah you're really great… yeah so see you later?" He said. That's Shadow he is a really nice and the hottest guy in our school but… he is very shy and quiet, he almost never talks to anyone so why would he talk to me?

"Yeah, yeah I will defiantly see you later, bye shadow!"

"WOW you are the luckiest girl I know! Shadow, the hottest guy in our school just talked to you!" Kailey said in my ear over and over again.

"attention students… the contest will start now so last min reminder."

"ok guys I got to go! Bye!" I said.

"Okay first contestant is Amy Ross." said naruto.

After the audition in the front lobby…

"Wow you where great, way better then Amy that's for sure!" said Albert.

"Yeah she messed up halfway through! Anyway you where great." said Kailey

"H, hey rose you where amazing and um I was wondering if you would like to go on um uh well um on a date with um uh um me to the movies at 8:30?"He said.

*WOW OK, OK, OK, OK, OK YOU'RE FINE THE HOTTEST GUY IN THE SCHOOL JUST ASKED OUY OUT ON A DATE OK YOU CAN HANDLE THIS!*

"YEAH SURE I WOULD LOVE TO GO ON A DATE WITH YOU! IT WILL BE MY VERY FIRST DATE IN MY WHOLE LIFE!" I said. Ok cool now I just made a total fool of yourself and know the WHOLE WORLD KNOWS YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ON A DATE!

"Your boyfriend never took you out on a date before!Damn! Well this time he was to slow!"He said. The reason for that is because Shadow and Sonic are the fastest guys in our school and They always tie for first.

"Hey girl I think they are playing your song does that mean you won?"Asked Kailey.

"Sadly no, they will announce the winner at the end of the day and yes he has never taken me on a date before." I said.

"Hey we better get back to class!"Said Albert.

So we said good bye to shadow and before I left because he needed to 'TALK' to me he gave me a kiss and ran off now I was stud beyond belief and as I was walking back to class Kailey was waiting for me and did I have an ear full from her!

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT YOURE FIRST DATE NOW YOYRE FIRST KISS NOT FOURCED BY ANYONE WHAT ELES CAN GO RIGHT FOR YOU TO DAY! WAIT TILL ALBERT HEARS ABOUT THIS!"Kailey whispered/said.

"Right a note telling him instead of yelling it across the table okay!"I said she nodded and we walked in silence till we got to class and the class hadn't started yet so we were ok and just as Kailey rote the note and passed it to Albert the teacher walked in and we had a very boring 50 minis in class.

At lunch …

"I can't believe he did that did he must really like you Rosy!But its bad news if this gets out and Sonic hears about this!He will never let you out of he's site and he will hurt you!" Said Albert in our special spot that only we knew of.

"He won't care… He is cheating on me with Amy anyway."

"WHAT! Well that stupid faker is an idiot rose don't listen to him and if he ever hurts you I will pound him into paste!"Said Shadow HOW THE HECK DID HE KNOW WE WERE HERE?

"So… you are confessing you're love for Rosy?" Asked Kailey. Now all the stress was on Shadow...would he run for it or would he stay and confess?

"If that is what you call it then yes! I'm crazy for you Rose and I would do anything for you!" He said. Ok now I understand why he kissed me but the fact that I love him back is the problem, because I am dating Sonic and if HE finds out I'm dead meat even if he is cheating on me!Ok so we talked for a little more than the bell rang and I asked if they would be at the talent show at the end of the year whether or not I won the contest.

"I'll be there for sure rose!" Said Shadow.

"We can go!"Said Albert.

Later in class…

"May I have your attention please…? Do to the contest results I would like to say that it was a tie and the winners are Amy and rose! To find the winner we must have a sing off and this time each contestant is aloud 3 people to help them win meet in the front lobby with your partners! Good luck kids and see you after school!"Said the principle from the speakers.

After the announcement in the front lobby after school…

"!" yelled Kailey, Albert, Sonic and Shadow. Oh no Sonic and Shadow together! NOT GOOD! What am I going to do I can't choose Shadow or Sonic will kill him and me! But if I choose Sonic, Shadow will confess his love about me to Sonic and then they will fight and then I'm really in trouble!

"KAILEY, ALBERT! CAN I TALK TO YOU FOR A SECOND!"I said.

"Sure I guess we could?" they said. So we went into the library and I made sure Shadow and Sonic weren't listening...

"ARE YOU GUYS CRAZY BRING SHADOW AND SONIC TOGETHER! NOW ALL THREE OF US ARE DEAD!"I yelled.

"What do you mean?"Asked Albert.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?WHAT DO I MEAN!SONIC AND SHADOW WILL KILL EACHOTHER IF THEY FIND OUT THAT SHADOW AND I ARE AN ITEAM! THAT'S WHAT I MEAN!"I shouted.

So we talked for a while and we came up with a plan that I would chooses Shadow, Sonic and Kailey to be in the contest and Albert would pick the song.

"I think that is a great idea but there is one problem...I am a judge and I can't be in it... Sorry rose... " said Shadow as he walked away with a sad face. But Sonic on the other hand was smiling like a mad man and I could see in his eyes that he would have killed Shadow if I didn't chooses him.

"HA NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL JUSTICE!" Shouted Sonic.

"SHADOW WAIT!"I said.i felt bad for him so I went after him and that made Sonic so angry, the fact that I cared for Shadow more than him infuriated him so much that he tried to punch a hole in the floor!Albert and Kailey stayed behind to try and clam Sonic down (thank the gods and goddess that it worked!) and tried to reason with him…

So I ran after Shadow so I could talk to him.

"You shouldn't be here rose...Your boyfriend will get mad and then we'll really be in trouble!" he said.

"I don't care about him!I just care about you…" I said and tried to grasp his hand.

"Why would you care about me?" He asked.

"Because you are sweet, kind, thoughtful, caring, never a put down and the list goes on and on… the point is… I love you."

Meanwhile...

"THAT'S IT I'VE HAD IT WITH HER I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN HANDLE HER ANYMORE!" Shouted Sonic in frustration

"Dude you were asken for it and you were cheating on rosy with AMY OF ALL PEOPLE!"Said Albert trying to keep Sonic from going sonic boom and punching shadow in the face and kidnapping me.

"SONIC THE HEGHEOGE! YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE YOUNG MAN!" Shouted Amy. Albert and Kailey were so confused that they let Sonic go by accident and just as he started to run and hit Shadow Amy brought out her hammer an hit him on the head!

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! WHAT THE #*#* WAS THAT FOR AMY?" Yelled sonic rubbing his head. (HA THAT IS WHAT I CALL JUSTICE!)

"THAT YOUNG MAN IS FOR CHEATING ON ME WITH ROSE AND TRYING TO KILL MY BROTHER SHADOW!"YELLED AMY.

Meanwhile in the gym where I found shadow…

"! Do you really mean that rose!"Asked shadow. There was a very hope fully look on shadows face that made me want to cry and tell him how much I loved him!

"of course I do… I've loved you from the first day I saw you and I only went out with sonic to make you jealous! I'm sorry…I should have told you sooner but I was scared you would hurt me if I did."I said phew thank god I got that off my chest now I was even more scared!

Meanwhile with Amy, Kailey, sonic and Albert they were still trying find out why sonic didn't just say no to that dare from the idiot of a knucklehead knuckles

"Hey guys what's up?" asked knuckles

"What's up?What's up?Oh I'll tell you what's up is the fact that you're the reason for sonic and shadow almost killing each other!That is up?"Screamed Amy after hit sonic in the head for a second time and this time she knocked him out, GOOD JOB AMY!

"Oh... oops!." Said knuckles. WHAT THE #** DOES HE MEAN OOOPS!IF KNUCKLES FORGOT TO TELL SONIC SOMTHING ABOUT THE DARE I WILL KILL HIM!

"Knuckles did you forget to tell sonic something?"Asked Amy who by the way is actually really nice! For a fact.

"Um well uh yeah I did dare him to ask rose out but I didn't think that he thought he had to keep dating her!I thought I told him before he left that he had to say he was kidding!" he said

"KNUCKLES! DID JUST HERE WHAT I THOUGHT I DID?" I screamed. Now I was pissed!
