This Isn't Happening

Faith ran.

She didn't look behind her as she tore through the streets of boston with only a brown duffel bag in hand. She didn't know where she was going, all she knew was that she had to get away. She could still see it all happening.

Faith walking in the house.

Blood on the floor.

Diana, laying in a pool of her own blood in the living room.

Faith, running towards her.

Diana's eyes opening, screaming: "No, Faith run!"

Katikos throwing Faith across the room, snapping Diana's neck.

Diana's un-seeing, glassy eyes turning towards Faith.

Faith screaming, jumping out the window, running.

The sound of Katikos boots, following.

Faith whimpered, she heard the sound of more boot falls, ones that weren't in her memory. She began to run faster, getting further away.

She wasn't here.

This wasn't happening.
