Forever eyes. Dark.

Somebody’s angel

Soaring above me effortlessly.

She reaches a hand to me,

broken earthbound mortal.

We touch.

She draws me to her.

Our lips meet.

I soar with her

Above the skyline,

if only for a moment.

Then return to earth,

to gaze upward at her

dark forever eyes again.
