21: I love the pairing and the hopeless romantic in me kind of takes over with these two. They are really sweet. =J

Imagination

Alex woke up, confused at first. She was warmer than usual, but not uncomfortable. What she was laying on was also softer then the truck. Then she heard the light snoring that made it all come together in her mind.

She was lying pretty much on top of Mara, who had her arms wrapped kind of protectively, but also lovingly, around Alex. Nothing (except some intense making out) had happened, but it had been nice. After the fact they had snuggled together in the truck and fell asleep that way.

Smiling a little, Alex snuggled into Mara and breathed in her pine-like scent that seemed to naturally emulate from the other girl. Mara let out a groaning sound, then started to wake up, tightening her grip on Alex slightly. "Alex?"

"Yeah, it's me," to emphasis the fact, she reached a little to gently kiss Mara's neck, causing the other girl to smile. "You don't have to worry so much,"

"Sorry, it's just…" Mara's smile faded slightly. "After that school, what happened, I have to make sure that you're really here, that you waking up wasn't just a dream,"

"You must have some kind of wild imagination,"

"You have no idea," Mara chuckled softly. Alex pulled herself up so she could look Mara in the eye.

"Oh? And what else, might I ask, is it usually used on?" She asked with a stern look.

"Well…" Mara's face and neck reddened. "I, uh… um…" Alex could no longer hold it in. Her stern look gave way to laugher. "Hey! I thought you really wanted to know!"

Still laughing―if only a little― Alex leaned her forehead against Mara's and smiled softly. "Knowing what I do about you," Alex frowned slightly, "Which isn't much, I guess, I don't think I want to be in your head. Yet," She smiled then. Mara gave her a cocky grin.

"Yet?"

"Well, maybe when we've gotten to know each other better," She reached down and place a gentle kiss on Mara's lips, then was promptly pulled back in when Mara's hand came to rest on the back of her head. Alex moaned softly when Mara's tongue snaked out to run across her bottom lip, asking for entrance, which was promptly granted.

As their tongues battled for dominance, Alex's hands tangled themselves in the other girl's hair.

There was a hard knock on the truck window and they pulled away from each other, both a bit annoyed, and looked at the window. There stood a security guard who told them to move their truck or it would be towed. They untangled themselves from each other and started the truck, driving off.
