A.N; (/ e u e)/ After three years, I decided to continue this. I hope you'll enjoy it. :') Please R&R.
This technically would be my first fanfiction, so any suggestions/tips would be helpful~

Chapter One: Dilemma.

Sasuke Uchiha leaned back against the wall, staring outside the window. He was always alone after training with Orochimaru, and he preferred it that way. Although, what he didn't prefer was the thoughts that crept into his mind. Even after leaving Konoha a couple of months ago, there was one thing that never left him.

Or, as he should really put it: one person.

Sakura Haruno.

Why was it now that he could not get his mind off her? The girl was annoying. She had a typical crush on him like many other girls back at the academy. But he knew that there was a moment in time where he felt something for the girl too.

A groaned escaped his lips as the flashbacks began to surge through his mind. The memories of when she protected him when he was at the edge of death, when she cried for him, when she wanted to hang out with him after their missions, when she and that dobe Naruto argued about him.

He slammed his clenched fist against the wall, squeezing his eyes tightly.

No.

He lost everything once; he didn't need to lose it all over again. If he never had them, he could never lose them.

Yet he missed them terribly, the girl more than the others (although he would never really admit it to their faces). The dilemma was killing him.

'What is it that I truly want? My revenge or the people who have somehow embedded themselves into my heart? Even if I chose the latter, how could I even go back? I practically betrayed my village.' The raven haired boy was almost fed up with thinking.

He needed to seize this aching pain that twisted in his chest whenever he reminisced.

And he knew that she was his answer, even if he wanted to deny it.

Sasuke got up and made his way to a table. What it was originally there for, he had no clue, but it was useful now. After a couple of minutes of searching the room, he found a pencil, some pieces of paper, and an envelope.

After an hour of crumpling his scraps and being flustered, he was finally satisfied with his result. As he began to seal the note into the envelope, the boy paused for a moment.

Exactly how was he going to send this?
