Itachi's Point of View

I didn't think it would come to this. He was so much stronger than I had anticipated. To make matters worse, I wasn't the only one who was at my brother's mercy.

I looked over at Madara. He had really taken a beating. Sasuke had grown so strong that he was able to take down the legendary Uchiha Madara by himself. What had I created? It wasn't supposed to end like this. No.

"You…" I cough harshly, glancing over at my brother.

Sasuke held his katana at my neck but I wasn't scared; this was what I had wanted – only I didn't plan on Madara getting mixed up in our fight.

"Foolish little brother…" I said calmly.

Sasuke snarled, his hands trembling as he tried not to stab me through the throat.

"Shut up…" he said softly. "I've changed my mind. I have something much more fitting then death for you… and him as well… trying to stop our fight… you don't deserve death, Itachi…"

I choked on my own blood as Sasuke knelt down and grabbed me by the hair, dragging me and Madara out of the Uchiha hideout; what was he doing? Everything was going all wrong!

A/N So this is actually based on a dream I had. I didn't get to dream the ending because my cat woke me up getting into a fight with a mystery animal so I'm just going to make my own ending up, lol. How is it so far?
