It's been a very slow two weeks since the war against Fuse had begun. Earth has continued to fight hard against fuse, but how long could this possibly last. Sooner or later, Earth would fall to fuse. The question was "How much time is there?"

2:02PM. Peach Creek.

"I thought you were going to the movies," Said Kenny, who walked along the sidewalk, next to his friend.

"I was, but, you know that line." Alex said. "All those people screaming and complaining and the long wait."

Alex then chuckled. He looked up into the sky as he continued to walk along the sidewalk, gazing up at the sky. He saw nothing but green clouds, covering the sun. He then let out a sigh. Will this ever change? The question echoed in his head.

"I'm tired of it as well, you know." Kenny said. Already sort of having the idea of what was going on in Alex's mind.

"I wish I wouldn't have to be greeted by that booger in the sky, every time I leave the house." Alex said, referring to Planet Fuse.

"That'll change some day, Al. You just got to keep your head up." Kenny said, patting Alex on the shoulder.

After a short and silent walk, they both passed through the menacing smiles on the faces stood tall that stood as a door to the Cul-de-sac. If it weren't for those menacing faces, and the cardboard walls, the monsters would have taken Peach Creek a long time ago.

As they entered, someone approached them. They both stopped in place.

"You're back just in time!"

"What is it, Eddy?" Alex questioned as the kid before him stroked one of the only three stands of hair that stood atop his head.

"The scanners are picking up some objects inside of the construction site."

"What's so good about those objects?" Kenny asked.

"You should ask Double-D about that." With that, Alex then proceeded on through the road to the center of the Cul-de-sac, where Eddy's "Throne" stood in middle. Next to Eddy's throne, Ed sat in a chair, his fingers pressing down on the keyboard of his laptop, and also running his finger against the mouse pad, clicking and opening different windows.

"Sir?" Alex stood in front of Edd, and he would look up at him.

"Oh yes. Alex, just in time. I was about to take the means to contact you." Edd said before he stood up, closing his laptop.

"How can we be of assistance?" Alex asked, folding his arms over his chest as he waited to receive his orders.

"Our scanners have picked up some strange items in Delightful Developments." Edd explained. "Here, take a look." Edd opened up his laptop, then handed it to Alex. On the screen, it was a map of Peach Creek estates. There was one green dot, in the construction site. Alex's eyes observed the map closely. Kenny also looked down at the map.

"Any idea what they are?" Kenny asked.

"I think it's some sort of crystal. It seems to be emitting some sort of radiation. I feel as though the waves coming off of them can cause more damage to the construction site, if they are not extracted. We need to find out what they are, and find a way to control the radiation levels."

"Then I guess you want us to go in there and get it, then bring it back?" Alex stated, then his lips curved into a light smirk.

"Precisely. Gentlemen, Prepare yourselves." Edd said, before sitting back down in his seat, then continued to finish whatever he was doing before they came to him. Alex and Kenny walking off toward storage. Within the vault, Alex & Kenny grabbed their equipment. Really wasn't much but their rifles.

Upon leaving, they put on their gas masks, as they prepared their travel into Delightful Developments.
