Transmission Re-established.

He had fled from the SACT agents with the crystal. Now was it worth it? If you had asked him the question he'd have definitely answered that with a yes. But that wasn't the question... Where would he run off too? Townsville is a big place, did it really matter where?

Dexter and Edd grew uneasy. They knew that having a renegade operative wasn't much good, they weren't certain whether or not Alex would go ahead and join Fuse, or continue to fight on his own terms.

Either one spelled trouble, so they had to capture him before he could cause any damage. There were plenty of operatives from the KND patrolling in the Townsville area, much more so than the Urban Rangers.

After being certain he escaped the SACT agents, he took the moment of relief to absorb the energy from the crystal. After that was over, he felt that he began to get much stronger. The power of which he would grow much accustom too, whenever the chance came along to demonstrate. But right now, he needed some rest.

8:21pm. Bravo Beach.

He flipped the closest switch to him, which cut on the lights. There was a mess. Plenty of things were laid onto the floor. "Well... They must have left in a real hurry. He walked in further to examine the area he would now call a safe house. After some exploring of the contents of the house, he figured he could make himself at home. He didn't bother to pick a room; instead he just threw himself onto the couch. Soon after, he began to hear some knocking. Indeed, it raised a question. Who on Earth could that have been? Without much hesitation, he got off of the couch and walked over to the door. He placed his hand on the knob and slowly turned it, preparing himself for a struggle in case it were any Urban Rangers. When the door was open, he stood at a bit of relief, realizing it was Kenny.

"What on Earth have you been doing?!" Kenny asked at a very loud tone, at which Alex had grabbed him, and pulled him inside of the house, before slamming the door.

"Pipe down." He asked before pushing him away.

"Alex, what is wrong with you?" Kenny asked. "It's not that hard to realize you haven't been yourself."

"Nothing's wrong with me, Kenny." Alex crossed his arms.

"Like hell, there's nothing wrong. SACT Agents are chasing you, and there's nothing wrong?!" He yelled again. "Dexter's plotting to get the Kids Next Door to come and find you."

"Yeah, and?" Honestly, it didn't bother him much. "They're probably going to come for you too, since you're here talking to me."

"Edd came back to the cul-de-sac and told me you would no longer be with us, so I came looking for you to try and convince you to come back. My cars outside, I'll drive you back." It wasn't an actual car; it was just one of the hover cars that the SACT dropped for use in the war. Kenny's had room for two.

"No! I'm not going anywhere. You can tell Edd that when you get back." He turned around. "I need power."

"... I can't stop them from coming after you. I can guarantee that the Urban Rangers or KND that coming breaking in will be as nice." It wasn't too late for Alex to return. He wasn't sure when, neither was Kenny, but if he didn't give in they would come after him with force.

"I'm not going anywhere. I will not repeat myself. Now leave." Alex wasn't going to hear any more of this.

Honestly, Kenny didn't expect him to return, and he figured that Edd was right. That the only necessary choice would be to send the KND. He didn't want any of this for Alex, but he figured it was the only thing that could be done. Without another word, Kenny left. He looked down and walked over toward the door, passing Alex. He opened the door and walked outside and down the stairs of the porch and to his hover car. He walked around the car and hopped over the door on the driver's side before starting the car. Alex stood by the door and watched him get inside before Kenny had driven away.

Alex wasn't sure of his own reason. All he knew was that he wanted the power, and he was going to get it. He was completely corrupt from his exposure to the contents of the crystals, but some of his own being remained and it told him that he the power alone would have been the tools to defeat Fuse.

Two Days Later.

It had been two days since Alex had betrayed the Urban Rangers. Edd had no choice but to dispatch the Urban Rangers to capture him. He would hope it wouldn't come to any drastic measures, but since even his best friend Kenny couldn't bring him back; it seemed Edd would have to take matters into his own hands. Alex could become a threat, so he had no choice. In light of this situation, Dexter had 5 devices sent to the cul-de-sac. They were designed to track someone via their DNA, and Kenny had been talking much about Alex cutting his hair before he betrayed them. They had raided his home, and found many strands of his hair lying in the sink.
