A/N: This has been on my computer for a while so I just decided to put it up. I reedited it but I couldn't do much since I don't own the movie.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything!
I walked on to school property and looked up at my new school. I felt the butterflies in my stomach and took a deep breath as if that would help. I can't believe I have to start a new school, especially a high school! My mom had gotten a great job opportunity here which led to us moving. And me, being the wonderful supporting daughter I was, didn't complain at all. I sighed and started walking towards my doom.
When the 5th hour came I headed off to AV club. I walked in and noticed the people who were already in there were staring at me. It would have been alright if they just glanced and looked away. But no, these people were staring.
"What?" I asked unsure looking at them.
"Do you have the right class room?" one nerdy guy with glasses asked.
I walked backwards out the door and saw it said computer lab. "Yea, why?" I asked walking back in.
"You just don't seem like the type." he said.
"Okay." I said slowly and confused. I shook my head a bit and pointed at the computers. "Do you just sit at any computer?"
He nodded. "My name's Chester." he greeted holding out his hand.
"Mine's Aqua." I shook his hand smiling before going in the back sitting at a computer. Soon more people started piling in. The bell rang but I didn't see a teacher yet which was really strange to me.
"This is AV club." A kid said walking in. I've seen him before, he's in some of my classes. He's actually kind of cute. I think he skipped a few grades 'cause he looked kind of younger than everybody else. He had blondish brown hair and blue-green eyes. Was he in charge? "For you that are returning welcome back. For the new people, welcome. I put instructions on the board for you. Oh and my name is Charlie." He walked toward the computer in the same row as me while I looked at the directions and started following it.
A couple minutes later Charlie made a sound of astonishment and before I could even look at him he was out the door. What in the world was that about? Oh well, I better just keep working. A while later the door opened and I heard "Colonel Tuttle on the brig." and everyone stood up saluting him. I slowly stood up and did the same.
There was a blonde haired guy standing to Charlie. Charlie looked at him with his hand still at his head. The guy did a double take at Charlie before saying "Dude, no way I'm saluting you."
"Fine," he turned to us "at ease." he started walking back to his computer while everyone sat down and I did too probably looking really confused about what just happened. Charlie and that one kid were whispering to each other looking at the computer.
I looked at my computer and then at the board. Yep, I had finished my work before everyone else again. Awesome. I didn't bring a book today so I just sat back in my chair watching the clock.
"Charlie wants to know if everything is going ok." someone said. I looked up and saw the blonde hair kid with Charlie behind him. I was a little confused as to why he was asking Charlie's question instead of Charlie but answered anyway.
"Um, yea, everything's fine, I just finished." I said gesturing towards the computer.
"You finished?" Charlie asked sounding shocked. He pushed past the guy looking at my screen. "It was suppose to take the whole period."
"I'm good at computers." I shrugged.
"So you're smart?" the blonde hair kid asked raising his eyebrows.
"I guess you could say that."
"So is Charlie here." he said patting Charlie's back. "What's your name?"
"I'm Aqua." I said.
"I'm Charlie." Charlie said.
"And I'm Virgil." the blonde hair kid said. "So what class do you have next?"
"Um... gym." I said looking at my schedule.
"So do we!" Virgil said smiling when I looked back up at them.
"Cool." I smiled back.
"We can walk you there if you want." Virgil offered.
"Sure." I shrugged my shoulders. I looked at Charlie who looked stunned. "Are you okay?" I asked a little worried.
"Oh yea, he's fine. He's just not that use to talking to girls." Virgil explained waving it off.
"Yes I am!" Charlie argued coming out of his trance and glaring at Virgil.
"Name one girl you talked to today."
"Jeanette."
"More like ignored."
"Why did you ignore her?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.
"She's had a crush on me forever." Charlie explained.
"So you ignore because of that?"
"No, it's because she won't leave him alone." Virgil explained.
"Oooh. Well have you ever told her to back off?" I asked.
"W-well I-I- h-hav-" Charlie stuttered moving his hands around.
"No he hasn't." Virgil said cutting him off. The bell rang. "Well let's go to gym."
I grabbed my stuff and we started walking through the halls. "So is this your first year here or what?" Virgil asked.
"Yea, it's my first year here." I answered nodding as we turned a corner. "What about you guys? Been here for 3 years?"
"Yep." they said.
"Are you always this quiet?" I asked Charlie.
"Um, not really." he admitted looking ahead.
"Is it because I'm here? Cause I can go..." I offered pushing my backpack farther up my shoulder.
"No! No it's fine." Charlie objected looking alarmed.
"Girl's locker room over there." Virgil said pointing towards a door.
"Thanks." I said going in. After I changed clothes I walked into the gym where the coach was.
"Alright, we're going to be running laps outside, so let's go!" he said clapping his hands. We walked outside and started running. Mostly everyone ran with someone making me feel like a loner since I ran by myself. Man this whole new school crap sucks.
"Pardon me! How's your time traveling formula coming along?" I heard. I looked up and saw Charlie looking around embarrassed and then running to catch up with Virgil. Time traveling?
The next class was cooking. Which I happened to have with Virgil and Charlie too. We were suppose to be making some kind of white fluff stuff, which I think was called Merang. So far mine was looking good, all fluffy and white. While I was stirring I looked up and saw a girl switching bowls with Virgil and Charlie. She looked down at their bowl and then looked back at them with a strange look on her face before walking back to her seat.
I looked back at Virgil who mouthed 'That's Jeanette!'
'Ooohhh.' I mouthed back and looked at her again. She looked harmless.
