Me: Hellllllllllllloooooooooooo internet! I am bored! I don't own Yugioh 5Ds. L8r. Tributed to Bon Jovi... the most epic person not related to cosplay or anime or manga...

And I just now learned that this took place in 2020-2023 the original took place in 1997-2002? and so Gx would have to have taken place in between those two times. Due to the fact that the monsters that killed Crow's mentor were "Before his time" and it was as of that moment 2017 and Crow was at the time 15. The Ener-D Effect took place when they were babies that would mean that Jaden Yuki and all of the other students were using fusion monsters even though Synchro's had been out for a while. Either that or the Dragons were prototypes of the new series of cards. That would make a lot more sense. Sorry if I was boring you I just wanted you to know when what happened and about what year it happened in so that then we wouldn't have a whole bunch of years flying about, the original cast's kids going to DA when they would have to have had them at age two and stuff.

Kana laid on the couch curled up in a ball crying. She had been abandoned yet again. Soon the door opened and wiped away the tears and turned around. She had been sure to wait at least thirty minutes to make sure that there were no traces of any possible sadness on her face as she pulled her proverbial mask back together.

She smelled ramen. Her eyes widened and she jumped off of the couch and ran up to the blond. "Hey Jack... Where've you been?"

"Out. Now shush. What's up with you?"

"What do you meen?"

"You look like an abandoned puppy."

"No I don't!"

"Yes you do. Have you even eaten or drank anything today?"

"No... I didn't feel hungry or thirsty."

"Just because you don't feel like it doesn't mean that you shouldn't. Here," Jack said giving her his ramen. She looked at him confused.

"Well! Do you want it or not!" Jack asked the child. SHe grinned knowing how much he liked ramen and she set it on the table and then hugged him. Jack sighed and set a hand on her pitch black hair that ended in a zig-zag motion. Soon the door opened and Yusei and Crow walked in. Crow silently took a picture without Jack noticing.

"Okay. Enough," Jack said after five seconds. Another five seconds went by. "Did you hear me? Off."

Soon Jack saw a tear go down her face and he sighed. She had been waiting on that acursed couch for them to come home and she probably only left to use the restroom.

"Hey, Kana. Want to have a race who can eat their ramen the fastest?" Crow asked seeing the tear. "The winner gets a ride on my duel runner..." He bribed.

She instantly sat at the table with a fork in hand. "It's on!" she said grinning... she won. She had to get a ride on her precious.

"YAY!" she said when she won.

Yusei just sighed and went back to what he was doing.

"Good. Now Crow can take you on a ride on his duel runner."

"What're you talking about! I didn't say that I would immediately after!" Soon Crow and Jack got into a fight. After they had been fighting a woman walked into the apartment. she had grey hair pulled back into a bun muh like how Kana had so she wouldn't get her hair in her food, except she had a little cover on hers.

"Why is there so much racket? And who is this... child!" the woman said. She seemed unsure of what to call Kana. A boy, or a girl.

"Kana. This is Zora. She's our Landlord," Yusei introduced.

"Hello Miss Zora. It's a pleasure to meet you," She said with a slight curtsy.

"Oh. Hello. Why are you here exactly?"

"Yusei, Jack, and Crow have taken me in. my last set of foster parent's didn't exactly like me very much. In fact none of them quite did which is why Miss Mina and Mr. Trudge sent me here. I like it so so I beg of you to please not send me away, Miss," Kana said bowing. Zora was taken back somewhat.

"Why on Earth would I send a child out? I have one question though, isn't staying with them a bit inadequate? They barely make enough money to feed themselves!"

"I know. I wait for them to get home to eat and then I only really eat one cup of ramen so they have enough to eat. Besides due to the fact that making ramen takes water that's my drink, pretty smart huh?" Kana whispered in Sora's ear. To say that Zora was shocked was an understatement.

"Are they making you do that?" she whispered back.

"No. I don't even really think that they realize I'm doing it. It's a good way to save money, ne?"

"Wh- but then you are under fed!"

"Nyeh. I've had worse. One family I was with used to take away food privilages for three days if I put too much coffee in the coffee maker. I can take care of myself. I've even taken up some odd jobs since I'm not old enough to work yet to buy my own food."

"But that's not- You're a child!"

"I know," She whispered to Zora. Their entire conversation had consisted of whispers. They eventually went outside to talk. "I've already made twently bucks. It's bad enough that I don't have anything to do while they're gone all day. When I still had my parents they hired me a tutor and by the time I was eleven my mind had already surpassed the average high schooler. I also know that they can't afford to send me to school. I also took a look at their bills they're a bit behind on the electric. Their bills don't even cost that much since they're never home and I wait for them to get home to do anything. The only thing I really do is just charge my I pod and that's it. There's a sum of money that's being put elsewhere and I don't really know where it's going to."

"That would be Jack's coffee expenses."

"Ah. He really needs to either stop putting so much money into that or find a new shop with just as good of coffee. I'll have to do some reasearch for some rather good coffee shops and Cafe's but it should be worth it to get their bills paid on time. I'll also have to talk to Yusei about modifying their duel runners so that they don't have to use as much gas or whatever they use to save money..." She said pondering it a bit more.

"You don't have to do all of that! You. Are. A. CHILD." Zora told the girl. Meanwhile the guys although they didn't realize it had been listening in on their entire conversation. Zora sighed and went back upstairs.

After they heard her snore in her room Jack, Yusei, and Crow all began to talk about Zora and Kana's conversation.

"We need to send her somewhere. As smart as she is she should be able to get a few scholarships," Jack said as he sat back on the couch.

"We can't send her to anyone right now. Akiza's still in school along with Leo and Luna," Crow said.

"Okay, let me just grab some milk first though," Yusei said taking his empty glass with him for his ninth glass. (A/N: If you read the Moosei fic that I read you would get it. -_- ever since then I have decided to have him drink at least one glass per chapter. *Shudder* I hate milk...) When Yusei went back to his place on the couch he made his proposition.

"Since we have the day off tomorrow why don't we figre out if she can duel. If she can then we can send her to duel acadamy with Leo and Luna. If not then we can teach her and then send her there. She could even get a scholarship there. She would be able to learn something that sshe hadn't yet and I think that it would be fun for her."

And so it was decided that the new comer would learn to duel.

Me: And so that's the end of this chappie! I hope that you liked it.
