I stare out of my window of my dorm. Eager to finish my math homework, not knowing what fate awaited for me. I start humming, then a knock on my dorm room. "Huh?" I start, "Who could be here at night?". I go up to the door and open it. To my surprise, it was Dan, with red tulips. Dan was red, and spoke softly, "Um...Sorry its late, but I saw these, and I thought you might like them".

Red tulips, my favorite flower. I smile brightly, "Thanks. Red tulips are beautiful, plus I love the meaning of the flowers". His expression became confused and asked, "What do they mean?". "They mean undying love", I said, blushing a little.

Dan starts blushing too. "I wish I had known that" he mutters. I get confused. "Why, you hate me or something?" I ask Dan. Dan replied quickly, "Its not that. I have a girlfriend". I felt like my heart was ripped to shreads. My hand curled into a fist. "Get out," I said with anger. "What?" Dan asks. "I said," I start, "GET OUT!" I slammed the door before he could say anything

I had let love get to me again, only to be spat in my face. I turn my back to my door, then slid down to the floor. "This was stupid, coming here," I sobbed. A little part of me died right there. But, I knew there was always tomorrow. I got up, and went to bed, not caring about Dan. Then, I closed my eyes. I slept, like I never slept before.

Crystal...Crystal...You're one of us a males voice spoke in my head. I quickly open my eyes, still in my bed. "Who is it?" I asked aloud. Great, now I'm hearing things, I thought. I close my eyes, again. Not sure if the voice will come back. I fall back into deep sleep.
