*peeps behind the wall* I'm sorry its taken a few months for this update, been busy and things have gone off a lot and haven't been in the mood to write so, here is the next chapter.

Claire and Chris made their way to the secret underground location in silence, Claire was going over in her head what Chris had asked her a while ago.

"Could I really kill Alice, if it came to it?" She thought to herself. Claire tried shaking the thought and the question away for now, she had to concentrate on getting Kmart back and trying to find Alice.

Chris could tell his sister was having trouble thinking things through, he left her to it knowing that he would complicate things worse for her.

The sky was on the very verge of darkness and both Chris and Claire could see the entrance to the underground shaft she was once shown by Alice. It was dark and had a spooky atmosphere about it, luckily Claire had brought two flash lights with them, so when their in complete darkness in the underground tunnel they will be able to see.

Claire slowed down her walk and looked around, "Here it is, the secret passageway to one of the Umbrella facilities." She informed her brother as she bent down to the sinkhole.

Chris was surprised that it in an open area, "I thought they might have made an entrance more hidden." He commented on the area.

Claire nodded in agreement with Chris, "Right, grab my flash light please, so when I drop in I can see what the hell I'm doing."

Chris grabbed one of the flash lights out of the rucksack he was carrying and passed it to Claire.

She tucked the portable light in her belt and opened up the grate, she looked up at her brother, "I'll see you down there."

She landed with a sudden thud and quickly removed the flashlight along with her handgun, she looked around the small tunnel slowly hoping not to find any nasty surprises.

"Okay Chris, it's clear." She shouted up to her brother.

Chris jumped down next to Claire and repeating the actions what Claire done, he wasn't taking any chances.

"So Claire, where to now?" He asked quietly.

Claire looked at him with a blanked expression, "We improvise."

Chris looked skeptical, "You don't know the way?"

"I only knew where the entrance is, not where to go next." She explained to him.

"Okay, well let's get a move on then." He said nervously.

Claire watched him walk in front, "Big brother, yeah right." She quietly whispered.

Kmart stayed sat still in the chair she was tied to, her wrist looked raw from the sharp ties digging into her skin, she had little energy and was pleading to herself hoping Claire would come for her. She was suddenly becoming tired, she wasn't sure if it was the injection that was causing this or the fact she couldn't fight to keep awake.

Kmart's body became stiff and heavy, her eyelids kept closing and her head rested to one side of her shoulder, she had a final glimpse of the room she was in, "Claire, help…me…" she whispered to herself and then drifted off into unconsciousness.

Alice's pain in her head was still at its worse, all of her memories flashed through her mind, the desert, when she first kissed Claire, fighting side by side with Claire, finding Claire again, the ship, her intimate times with Claire, then the fierce fights with her. The memories wouldn't stop spinning around in her head.

"Aaaarrrrggghhhh" Alice painfully screamed and fell to the floor, the chip in her head was controlling the images that flashed through her, and she wasn't sure how long she could bare it. It was slowly killing her.

The scientist came walking through into the hidden room to find Alice screaming in pain, he smiled and walked over to a laptop on the table. He pressed a few buttons and then looked at Alice, she was begging to calm down.

She realised the pain in her head was fading, the memories stopped flashing as much, her breathing became slower and knelt on the floor until she gained composure, beads of sweat fell down her face.

"Is the pain going now?" He asked Alice.

She nodded.

"Good." The scientist simply said, turning back to his computer.

She started to stand up slowly, her vision was slowly coming back to normal, there was no pain anywhere just a few spots of blood that was dripping from the inside of her nose.

The scientist witnessed the blood and passed Alice a tissue to stop the blood dropping in the room.

"Thank you." She said wiping her nose.

The scientist smiled slightly and ignored her, he tapped away on his laptop and looked at the camera that was in the room next door, the room where Kmart was in.

"Are you aware that a young blonde is in the room next door?" He asked Alice.

She scowled, "Kmart?" she questioned him.

"Is that her name? Weird name." he shook his head and brought up a bigger view of the girl so Alice could see.

"Why do we have her, what has she got to do with this?" Alice became cautious of the situation she was in.

The man in the room with her smiled at his hidden plan.

Chris and Claire had been walking for awhile and were getting tired of the same old look of the tunnel, "How much further?" Chris huffed.

Claire come to a abundant stop and trained the touch on a metal door and smiled, "None, we're here, I think." She replied.

Chris looked at where her touch was shining and something caught his eye, "It's the Umbrella logo at the top of the door." He confirmed.

"Why is it every time I here that name or see their logo it feels like something bad is going to happen?" She looked at her brother suspiciously.

Chris looked at her, "Lets just find out, we need to hurry they have Kmart and Alice."

"Yeah." Claire replied, she drew her gun up and reached for the steel handle and slowly opened it.

The door way opened up onto a corridor, it was dim and smelt clean.

"I think we're here Chris, it's the usual Umbrella look." She glanced around the area and looked back to Chris, she nodded her head for him to follow.

"How do we know where we're going?" Chris asked, as he quietly closed the door behind him.

Claire thought about it, "Umbrella's facilities that are underground aren't big, Alice told me once. If we come across a man in an Umbrella uniform, be ready to interrogate him."

Chris nodded and got himself ready to move on.

They cautiously moved down the deserted hallway, no one seems to be aware they had broken into the facility, it was like no one was there.

What they didn't know what they were being watched by the scientist.

The scientist looked at the screen, he could see two intruders with guns walking towards the room where he and Alice was in.

He looked at Alice, "Do you recognise these people?!" He shouted.

She looked up at the screen, she was staring at the woman with red hair, "Claire." She whispered.

The scientist heard her, he tapped on the laptop and within seconds Alice was in sudden pain again.

"No, no, no, not now! Arrrrggggghhhh!" She screamed and fell down to the cold surfaces again.

The scientist grabbed his gun and bashed his door open coming face to face with a redhead.

Claire punched the guy that suddenly came in front of her, she didn't realise who it was until he fell to the ground.

"It's an Umbrella scientist!" She shouted to Chris.

The man on the floor grabbed his gun and aimed for Claire, Chris kicked the gun out of the scientist hand that made the gun fly across the white marble flooring.

Claire walked over to white cloaked man then picked him up by the collar of top and slammed him into the nearest wall, "I want to know where two people are, or I will shoot you without hesitation so you better start talking!" she shouted in his face.

Chris stood a few steps away watching Claire man handle the scientist well, he could help but hear whimpers not far from him. Chris looked to his left and saw Alice on the floor and what looked to be in pain.

"Claire!" Chris called.

Claire still stared at the Umbrella scientist, not trusting to look else where, "what is it?"

"It's Alice." He told Claire, "She's on the floor in pain."

Claire wanted to go see for herself but she couldn't let this guy go, they needed to find out where Kmart was, so used all her strength to drag the man along with her to see.

She saw the state Alice was in, anger built up and shoved the Umbrella scientist into the room, "What's happening to her?!" She asked angrily.

He smirked at Claire.

It wound her up more and punched him in the nose, "Why is she in so much pain that she doesn't even know we're in here?!"

"It's a chip that was planted into her head months ago, ever since we've had control of her." The scientist explained.

"What do you mean?!" Claire asked with force behind her words.

"She came searching for us months ago, but we were higher than her in the hunt, we found her, beat her down then placed a chip into her skull. Some of the time we've had complete control of her and other times we've lost the satellite signal." The man truthfully explained.

Claire couldn't question what he was saying, everything he was saying added up, the way Alice would turn on Claire all of a sudden, and how their physical fights would turn into passion.

"How can it be destroyed?" She asked sternly.

"The only way it can be destroyed is dying." The smug scientist told Claire.

Claire blinked and eased her hand around the man's collar but not enough for him to fight out of her grasp.

"Aarrrghhhhh, make it stop!" Alice screamed out.

Claire looked over at Alice in concern then looked to her brother, "Take care of this man while I'll help Alice, find out where Kmart is!" she ordered her brother.

She didn't have to wait for a response, Chris walked over to where Claire was and grabbed the scientist and push him down in a chair. Chris used his tie backs that he had brought with him and used them to tie the scientist down to the chair.

Claire went over to Alice to help her, "Alice, Alice." Claire tried, "C'mon Alice its Claire."

Still in pain Alice lifted her head out of her hands at the name, her vision still blurry but she knew who it was, "Claire?" she questioned.

"So tell me, where is Kmart?!" Chris asked darkly.

The scientist was trying to break out his restraints, "I'm not telling you." He growled.

Chris punched the scientist, "I will ask you again, Where is Kmart?!" he shouted.

The scientist sniffed as the blood trickled down his nose, "She's next door." He said croakily.

"That wasn't too hard was it?" Chris walked over to Claire and Alice, "How is she doing?" he asked Claire.

"I don't know Chris, I've never seen her like this." She admitted, she looked worried at her brother.

"Just try and contain her, I've found out where Kmart is." He told his sister.

"Where?!" she asked surprised.

"Next door." He explained and within that he left the room in search of Kmart.
