Summary: Before DOLLARS were created Mikado's character on an popular RPG site accepts his first crush's proposal. Now three years later in Ikebukuro Mikado logs back onto the site to deal with an upset 'wife' and agrees to settle things in real life. However marriage is a serious promise and Izaya Orihara isn't going to let him 'leave' him again.

Author's Notes: I deeply apologise for starting yet another thing when many of you are waiting for Cat and Mouse however I've been very busy IRL but that shouldn't be a problem seeing as I've decided I'm not attending the funeral and I should have a lot more spare time soon.

Also this is for my own amusement and for my own satisfaction as this idea struck me this morning and kept me up till around 5am.

And yes I know how wacky this idea may sound, but again this isn't meant to be a very serious fic, that's what Cat and Mouse is for… or is meant to be for.

In his spare time; when he was not studying, doing chores, or talking to Masaomi-Kun, Mikado tended to go back onto that site.

It was a popular RPG site across Japan. And… it was rather addictive, sometimes he'd switch back and forth between talking to his friend and playing the game.

He understood how computers worked quite well and advanced quickly in the game which was commented on more than once by others on the site. It was rather embarrassing really but he didn't do much to change his characters increasing level.

He didn't play the game alone either; he was part of a small group and sadly enough.

He didn't want to admit that he'd never met his first crush before in person, let alone know anything about the real them.

Another player, Kanon-Chan was energetic and socialised easily. He thought about it for quite some time and came to a single conclusion.

Kanon-Chan was confessed to by other players outside of the group, most of them were older men. He will probably never meet her in real life and the only thing he'd have to worry about would be his personal embarrassment. Besides it's bad to lie to your friend's right?

So who simply told her one day, but found it still wasn't that simple. It wasn't that simple at all.

It took what seemed like forever to type the words and he felt his face flush when he'd finished. It was shameful liking someone who he'd never met before and found himself worrying about her reaction.

'Ehhhhh? Seriously? Ne, Tanaka-Kun it's not nice to joke about things like that y'know?'

She'd thought he was joking, he'd gotten it off his chest at least so he went along with it.

'J-joke? Yeah, it's a joke. I'm sorry Kanon-Chan'

He cursed himself for not being a better liar at times, he'd have to learn.

'Hmmm? Could it be that Tana-Kun was serious?~'

He sighed with embarrassment, there was no way that she wasn't going to mock him now. How was he going to face her ever again? …Not in real life of course but, he liked that site a lot he didn't want to have to feel embarrassed because a stupid confession.

'N-no, sorry Kanon-Chan it was a joke'

His own character looked flushed himself with a nervous expression. But he didn't expect the reply.

'It's good to know though Tana-Kuun, 'cause I like you too'

He'd held his breath after reading that.

'S-seriously? You're not joking are you?'

He mentioned parts of it to Masaomi-Kun, not telling him the whole story. But simpler parts of it, asking his friend if he'd done the right thing. And to not so much to his surprise his friend egged him on, though he should have expected that seeing as Masaomi-Kun constantly talked about girls.

The attention that his confession received was embarrassing as newer players who called themselves Tanon or Kanaka Fans started to show up and leave the occasional message about it, which always caused Kanon-Chan to laugh and him to get embarrassed. Especially as there were more Kanaka fans than the other. In the end he just got over it and it became normal.

After a few months the thirteen year old was confronted with a question.

'Ne, ne. Tana-Kunnnn~ Marry me?'

How was he meant to answer that?

'Eh? T-that was rather sudden Kanon-Chan'

He felt more surprised than happy, though there was some childish joy there anyway.

'Whaaat? You don't want to?'

Kanon-Chan proceeded to cry. And he had no idea what to do.

'Waaaaahhhh! Tana-Kunnn, doesn't love Kanon-Chan!'

He felt bad, for making her cry. And. He did like Kanon-Chan.

'Ka-kanon-Chan I, I was just a little shocked at the sudden question okay?'

And it was just online wasn't it? On the internet with no consequence. So.

So he said yes.

A/N: I'm sorry if your mind just broke, it happened to my friend so I don't blame you. But I hope you liked it and continue to read this mind fugdery - Shameless-Fish
