I'd just given up on him, my hands dripping with his endless supply of blood, thinking he was gone from my life like all the rest before he opened up his eyes and kissed my wet cheek.

I nearly jumped out of my skin, the hunter inside was trying to figure out what the hell he was and how to kill him, as I got a kiss on the lips from a dead man.
