AN - This is during the episode Witch's, and in the Guffy universe.

This thought occured to me earlier today, because I'm turning into a Giles/Buffy shipper, and who else cheered when they saw Jenny Calender die on the show? I was wooping, but then I found out that Guffy never happens and I was like AWWW DAMN IT!

"What are they doing?" Willow whispered to Giles as she entered the room, eying the scene that was playing in front of them.

Giles shook his head and asked Willow "Pardon?"

"I asked, what are they doing?" Willow said, looking at Buffy and Xander who were silently staring at each other, trying to intimidate the other into blinking.

"HA! I won!" Buffy cheered, before blowing a rasberry at Xander who glared at her and folded his arms, with his upper lip jutting out.

"That's not fair, you got slayer senses!" Xander protested

"I suspect, that they had too much sugar" Giles supplied, cleaning his glasses before sliding them back onto his nose and watching Buffy carefully; as if she should fall, he would be there to catch her immediently when she sugar crashed.

Willow nodded, before blushing when she heard where Buffy's and Xander's conversation's were heading, and Giles merely raised an eye-brow.

"Where have you been all my life?" Xander asked, staring at Buffy who looked back at him and said firmly "Hiding from you"

Xander pouted once more

"Haven't I seen you someplace before?" Xander tried again, trying to trumph Buffy, and Buffy just grinned undeterred " Yes, that's why I don't go there anymore"

"So what do you do for a living?"

"I'm a female inpersonator"

Giles chuckled loudly, before clapping a hand over his mouth, barely restraining his laughter

"Hey baby what's your sign?"

"Do not enter"

"How do you like your eggs?"

"Unfertilized"

"I would go to the end of the world for you"

"But would you stay there?"

"If I could rearange the alphabet, I'd put u and I together" Xander countered back

"Really, I'd put F and U together" Buffy replied, before she and Xander fell off their chairs in laughter, and when they didn't get back up, Giles rushed over and saw that Buffy was dozing off.

"Giles" Buffy murmured, clenching her hand in his shirt as he picked her up smoothly and put her on one of the nearby couches, before laying with her.

"Go back to sleep, Luv" Giles said, smoothing his Slayer's hair down before drifting off into a peaceful sleep with Buffy's blonde head resting on his broad chest.

"Xander!"
