"Grandpa?" I whispered as I looked to the stars.

"It's me. Kiara." I continued.

"I know you've never met me but dad said that you lived in the sky, that you've lived there for a long time... Dad misses you, he has nightmares allot... mum's told him it's not his fault. I think he knows but he can't seem to let it go."

I sigh. Things in the pride had gotten complicated. Maybe that's why I was out in this field talking to the stars. Correction. Talking to a lion who I'd never met who supposedly lived in the sky.

"Kiara?" My father called.

"Coming dad!"

I was about to turn and leave when suddenly I turned back. I felt as though I was forgetting something.
