Disclaimer : The original story comes from Kamio Youko with the title Hana Yori Dango. But I think I’ll use the Taiwan version called Meteor Garden (Liu Xing Hua Yuan) since it’s shorter. And Gundam Wing’s characters belong to SUNRISE (damn them forever).

Chapter One : Duo’s New School

         Duo Maxwell sighed again, maybe for the hundredth time. His motorcycle didn’t want to run. He couldn’t believe that his old motorcycle had created another trouble for him. He almost kicked the motorcycle if he didn’t remember that it’s the only motorcycle he had and with his economical condition he couldn’t afford a new motorcycle. The school fee at YBWC High school was already too expensive for his family.

         “Good…Very good. Now I’m late for school.”

         A car stopped beside his motorcycle, a very expensive car to be true. The window opened and a girl face poked out from it. She has long dark blond hair and blue eyes. And a very thick make up covered her face.

         “Duo, your motorcycle has problem again, doesn’t it?” The girl asked and Duo gave her a dirty look. “See, your hands are all dirty. Here, use my handkerchief to clean your hand.”

         She was about to close the window but stopped and said, “Oh yeah, that’s Prada and it’s very expensive one so don’t forget to give that back to me.” She was murmuring something, “If it’s not because of you, our school will break the world’s record. All students use car for school…”

         The car then drove away. Duo stuck his tongue at the car.

         “Thank you for your concern, Relena-sama!” he nearly shouted.

         “Howard! Can I left my motorcycle here?” Duo placed his helmet on his motorcycle.

         “Sure, why not. Do you need me to warm your lunch?”

         “Yes, please.”

         “It’s only you who know the warming machine. Ha! Another students won’t care about me. I like if you visit me.”

         “I like to see you too, Howard. Now I have to go, see you later!” Duo said as he ran to his class.

         “See you, Duo!”

         “Hey, Cath!” Duo called a red haired girl.

         “Hey, Duo! I thought you’re late.” Cath smiled to him.

         “Hey, what’s that?” Duo pointed to a book that Catherine was held.

         “This? Oh, I borrowed it from Dr. G. You know him, we might need to read this for the mid-test.”

         “What?! But-but I only heard that we need to read this book!” Duo pointed to his own book.

         “Maybe I’m too nervous.” Catherine shrugged.

         “Yes! I think you’re too nervous, indeed. I heard that we only need to read this book.”

         “Hey, let’s go now, Duo. We’ll be late. I really hate that Dr. J.”

         “OK. Let’s go.”

         A boy in the same age with Duo was sitting alone in the class, gathering all his books. He then stood up and walked with head bowed down with books in his hands. When he walked out, everyone avoided him like he was a kind of virus or germ. Then he stumbled on his feet and fell down with all his books. Duo almost went to help him when a pair of hands pull his hand. He turned to see Catherine was shaking her head. She pulled Duo and whispered to his ear.

         “Don’t help him.”

         “But…”

         “Duo, do you know him? He is Jeff Morton. He will go out from this school because he seek for trouble with the G4. The leader of G4, Heero Yuy got mad at him and placed a red card in his locker. He was bullied by the other students and he couldn’t stand it so now he’s out from the school. That’s what he got for seeking trouble with the G4. If you help him, you’ll get your own red card in your locker. You don’t want to disappointing your parents, do you?”

         Duo could only clenched his fists in anger. Those pigheads G4, just because their parents were the ones who build this school and they already thought that they could do anything in this school.

         An old man stopped in the middle of the students and shouted,

         “What’s this?! Aren’t you suppose to be in the class now.”

         A girl with long blonde hair walked to the old man. Her eyebrows were shaped very weirdly. The girl was Dorothy Catalonia, the best friend of Relena Darlian.

         “Dr. J, that’s Jeff Morton is out from the school now. Heero Yuy gave him the red card.”

         “Is it?” Dr. J then walked to Jeff.

         “Morton, you’re the one of my best student. When you’re out from this school, try not to be a bastard and seek for trouble again, OK?” Jeff could only nodded.

         “What kind of teacher is he?” Duo spat out, in his mind. “His student is out and yet he still say that he is a bastard. This stupid teacher is too scared of the G4.”

         “OK! Let’s go to class.” Dr. J shouted.

         Duo was standing in the top of his school building. Since he arrived at the school, the rooftop became his favorite spot in the school. Duo clenched his fists and shouted on top of his lungs.

         “YOU G4 ARE ALL PIGHEADS!!!!!!!!! DO YOU THINK BECAUSE YOUR PARENTS OWN THE SCHOOL YOU CAN RULE ALL THE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’LL TELL YOU!!!!!!!! I’M NOT SCARED TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE THAT YOU’LL DIE SOON OF HEART ATTACK!!!!!!!!!! YOU’RE ALL F****** USELESS PIGHEADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DR. J, YOU’RE THE STUPIDEST TEACHER I’VE EVER KNOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE YOU’LL DIE ALONG WITH THE G4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DARE TO LOOK FOR TROUBLE WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WON’T LOSE TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HEAR THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GIVE UUUUPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

         Duo stopped and tried to catch his breath.

         “But…if I will never give up to them, why didn’t I help Jeff Morton?” Duo spoked softly. “Ah…I better get back to the class…”

         Four cars stopped in the parking area of YBWC High School. A boy with silky black hair tied into a ponytail and a pair of black eyes jumped out from his white Mercedes. Another boy with blond hair got out from his blue Porsche, his aquamarine eyes were shining along with his blond hair. The next one was a boy with gravity-defying brown bangs and a pair of piercing emerald eyes, who was stepped out from his green Lamborghini. And the last one, a boy with unruly dark chocolate hair jumped from his black Ferrari, his Prussian blue eyes showed his untamed personality. The four boys looked to one another then they walked together toward the school with the unruly haired boy in lead.

         After walking a few feet, the four boys suddenly sneezed in the same time.

         “Someone must be talking about us.” the blonde one sniffed and rubbed his pointed nose.

         “That’s not weird.” the black haired one commented while rubbing his own nose. “After all, we are the G4. Right, Heero?”

         “Hn.” was the only reply from the leader.

         “Eh, Trowa. What do you think?” the blonde asked. The bang boy just stuck his thumb up and pointed it down.

         “No need to ask him, Quatre.” the black haired one said to the blonde.

         “I’m just asking, Wufei. I’ve expected that answer from Trowa.”

         “Let’s go to the class.”

         Duo and Catherine were walking in the corridor. Both of them were carrying a basket full of basketballs together.

         “Eh, Duo, do you have a mathematic class today?” Catherine asked.

         “No. I have to work after school.”

         “Hm, that’s too bad. That mean I will be the only one who really study.”

Suddenly, Catherine stopped and looked a bit afraid of something. Duo looked forward, and saw that the G4 were about to enter the corridor. He sighed and looked down. Then he heard something, he looked up and saw the G4 had stopped walking, Dr. J was sat in the floor trembling with fear, and Heero Yuy’s face was soaked with Coca Cola which can was rolling past Duo and Catherine.

         “I-I-I’m…I’m sorry.” Dr. J apologized to Heero.

         “If you do this to other students, will you apologize?!” Heero death glared him.         

“I’m so sorry…Let me clean it for you!” Dr. J walked forward and wiped Heero’s face with his sleeve.

         “Teacher…You’re stepping on my foot…” Heero once again gave him a death glare. Quatre and Wufei snorted in amusement.

         “I-I-I’m sorry! I’m sorry! Let me clean it!” Dr. J bent forward and cleaned Heero’s shoe.

“If sorry is useful, then what are police needed for?!” Heero shouted to Dr. J’s face.

         Heero shoved Dr. J aside and continued to walk. His friends followed him. When Heero saw the basket that Duo and Catherine has put, he kicked it and the basketballs went flying everywhere. Duo and Catherine stepped back.

         “Heero Yuy’s mood is very bad today. better stay away from him.” a student whispered to the other student.

         “I wonder why there is still an asshole like that in this world.” Duo thought angrily.

         The G4 once again walked past the corridor. But one of them stopped. Trowa stopped and picked the basket and placed it back. He took a glance at Duo and Catherine. Duo felt a sudden pang in his heart when he saw the beautiful emerald eye.

         “Trowa! What are you doing?! Let’s go!” the blond called him. Trowa just walked to join his friends.

         “Really? There’s that kind of group in that school?” Hilde, Duo’s work partner, asked.

         “Yup. They are called G4 but call them PH4, Pig Head Four. They’re all so…arrogant and disgusting. Especially the leader, Heero Yuy. He is the most arrogant and the most disgusting among them all. I want you to see their behavior.”

         “Wah…I wanna see those G4…” Hilde said dreamily.

         “Hilde, what kind of face is that? I told you, they’re the worst men I’ve ever met.”

         “But the boys at another school are really hicks.”

         “Isn’t that good? My school is not really different than hell. Because the school was built by the four richest family, Yuy, Barton, Winner, and Chang, so their children can do anything in school. Hhh…that’s enough, I don’t wanna talk about that again.”

         “Eh, keep talking. I want to hear about them.”

         “No.”

         “Please, Duo.”

         “No.”

         “At least tell me why they’re called G4.”

         “Ha-ha-ha-ha…That’s very funny. G4 means Gorgeous Four.”

         “Wah…that’s mean they’re so…..handsome, not to mention so…..rich.” Hilde said dreamily, Duo hit her head with a paper box.

         “Are you crazy?! Although they’re all look good, actually they’re all hicks. Like to bully people and don’t have any feeling.”

         “Are they that bad?” Hilde asked and Duo quieted to think.

         “Well, actually, maybe there’s one of them which is different from the rest. He’s pretty cool.”

         “Eh…Duo, don’t tell me you’re interested in Mr. I’m-different-from-all-my-friends.” Hilde said teasingly.

         “Nope. I have decided that I’ll stay away from other people problems. I don’t give a damn care about anyone in that school. In short, me and that school are not matching each other. If it’s not because of my Mom, I won’t study there.”

         “Duo…” Hilde called softly, and Duo turned to look at her. “Since you go to YBWC High School, I think you’ve changed a lot. You remember our first meeting? There’s a fat boy in our class who always bullied me, so you forced him to apologized to me. Since that event, everybody like you. But, now you’ve turned to Duo who I don’t know.”

         “Actually………I hate myself now.” Duo thought. “I’m not brave enough to go to the war. Everyday put on fake smiles. And I even wasn’t brave enough to help Jeff Morton. This is not myself I knew before….”
