Future Glinda stared, open mouthed at the rest of the group of Ozians who were looking at her with narrowed and betrayed eyes.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about," she dismissed quickly, "I'm Glinda!"
"I don't think so," argued Elphaba, her voice sharp.
"Neither do I," pointed out Fiyero.
Glinda just looked plain confused.
So who are you? Fae was getting irritated and a bit frightened that this blonde was not Glinda from the future. She wanted, no, needed to know who this person was.
Are you the Wizard?
At this Future Glinda laughed, or more like cackled. The sound of Glinda's voice cackling was not pretty and they all cringed at the noise.
"You haven't guessed, dearies?"
"No idea," said Glinda simply. The others nodded.
"Well then," said Future Glinda, "I guess you don't have that talent of really knowing people. I always knew that you three didn't have it in you. I had, of course, hoped that you would prove me wrong. But even still I doubted that you will, and would…"
At this Fae let out a gasp and covered her mouth with her hands.
She quickly grabbed the pen in her grasp and wrote on the paper.
But before Fae could write another word, Future Glinda snapped her fingers and a puff of smoke filled the room allowing no one to see in front of them.
Everyone started coughing and gagging on the disgusting smoke until it cleared and they could all see.
What lay before them, though, was nothing less than terrifying…
Back in the Emerald City, The Wizard was anxious and nervous about Glinda's charity spreading of goodness in the Vinkus, and without Morrible he had no one to turn to.
Morrible of course had assured him that everything would go as planned but something in the old man couldn't deny the feeling that something would go wrong. He was to act as if Morrible was sick, some sort of illness while she posed as Future Glinda. It had been her plan from the start.
She wanted to drag Fae out of her shell and capture all three of the college friends, so that they could be tried for treason.
The personal vendetta Morrible had against Elphaba was something that had always puzzled The Wizard. He never understood why she had wanted to capture Elphaba in the first place. But now it was too late to do something. She was already 'Glinda from the future' and in a matter of days would be returning with Fae and the rest of her crew in custody.
But what would they do then?
Morrible had explained that she had something planned, but had never told The Wizard what it was. The man had never doubted his Press Secretary until now. He might just have to take measures into his own hands when they arrive…
In Kiamo Ko, the two girls and the prince all stared at who stood before them.
"Madame Morrible?" exclaimed Elphaba and Glinda at the same time.
Fae could only stare for she had no words.
As predicted by Fae, there Madame Morrible stood in her hideous gown of red velvet with disgusting white cuffing on it. Her wild hair and makeup made her features prominent and her lips were curled into a smirk.
"Hello dearies," she said sinisterly…
I know, I know it's really short. But it's a filler for the next chapter. Hope you all liked it. Review pretty please and maybe something bad will happen to Morrible…
