Blake (Fang) Martinez
We stood in the living room talking. Denahi had come over and saw Fang.
"Hey little brother!" Denahi laughed and caught Fang in a headlock, noogieing his head. Fang pulled free and laughed as Denahi chuckled. I draped an arm over Fang's shoulder as we talked. Alison hugged his leg.
"I hope you like it here." Mom smiled.
"I'm sure I will, mom." He said and my eyes widened. He was already fitting in. I patted his other shoulder reassuringly. He looked over at me and grinned. Mom smiled and headed into the kitchen.
"Who wants dinner!" She called. We bolted into the kitchen and took our seats. We ate in silence and then broke off into our rooms. Fang headed into his room and looked over things.
"It all looks the same." He smiled. I nodded.
"Of course it does." I said and he nodded. My clock read 10 pm, time to go to bed. Not for us. Fang left the door open in his room and I walked in sitting down on a chair. He took off his shirt and rummaged through his chest of drawers for a pajama shirt. I noticed the many scars lining his back and chest still. I sighed silently to myself and thought over about his past.
Fang's mother died, his father abused him to the breaking point every day of his life. He was an outcast to everyone, living on the streets for 6 years, constantly hungry, tired, and fighting for his life. He finally met me and snuck into my house only to be discovered by my mom. We both then lived on the streets for a good 4 months only then I had to go back to my house, leaving Fang alone for another few months. Mom then allowed him in the house for a short time before he started going to school. Caught by his father, he was tortured for 2 months before I bust him out. He was passed out in the hospital for 5 days before waking up again only to be sent to a teen orphanage for another month. All in all, I had known him for almost a year and a half. It felt like it had all gone by in a flash.
Fang pulled on a shirt and sat down on his bed. I looked over at him and smiled.
"You like having a family, don't you." I said and he nodded. He stood up and walked closer to me. He crouched down beside me so that we were level with each other's eyes.
"Thank you so much Max, you saved my life." He whispered and kissed me. I closed my eyes and hugged him as we kissed. I would never let him go. I would forever love this boy in black.
THE END…
