summary: they are the monsters Asgard fears/lokixdarcy, 'welcome to the family'
The other goddesses are unkind, and she hides her skeletal hand beneath the table in shame.
"Oh look," a voice drawls. "It's the bitch-parade."
The strange mortal, Darcy, sits beside her and chatters endlessly for hours. Hel is enamoured with her strange tales and the queer lenses she wears upon her brow. (later, he catches them playing together with a large muli-coloured ball)
(he's never seen his son so ecstatic over a child's game before)
She's late and the evening has fallen into a downpour outside of the office. Loki has come to bring her an umbrella when he catches her at her desk, asleep. The strange contraption, her eye-pod, is still lit up. Underneath her hand, her fingers are still wrapped around her stylus -
dry-food: looks gross, fairly cheap though
Darcy shifts, sighs and her hand moves across the page: what to feed a world serpent
