Chapter One: Welcome, ladies!
It had been an uneventful two years for Phil Wenneck, all except the untimely divorce from his ex, Stephanie. She'd cheated on him with some male stripper and said he had better abs than Phil. Also, she took the kid for full custody, because according to her- "He can't pay for him because he's already going to be paying alamony and child support! He's an unfit father."
Phil, of course, was furious. Now he never got to see his son, and the only kid he had left...well...nevermind. Me in my little storytelling wouldn't like to tell that story just yet. But if you'd like to know where our story begins, I'll tell you. It begins, in a history class. Phil Wenneck's, of course. And this wasn't highschool, it was college.
He'd decided that he'd give all of his students a harty deal of homework to celebrate him going to yet another wedding. The untimely arrival of stacks and stacks of homework cluttered into tiny two bed dorm rooms and apartments seemed uncanny. Unfortuantely for one student, it was very untimely.
Her name was Amara Eve Helfer, a freshman in a sophmore class(like usual, she was rather smart). She, also, had a wedding this weekend and wanted to ask for a extend in the deadline. All that partying could make her tired, then not want to do her homework.
And who would want that?
"Mr. Wenneck." she said, going up to his desk after the class left. "I'd like an extension on my homework. My aunt is getting married this weekend, and I won't be able to-"
Phil sighed. "No excuses, Miss Helfer. Everyone gets the same time."
"Hah!" she scoffed, rolling her eyes as he looked at her in shock. "You gave Lisse and Jacki an extended time, and it wasn't even that big of a homework assingment!"
"And with good reason." he retorted, looking up into her crystalline blue eyes. They were extremely like his.
"Good reason? Excuse me, but I laugh at that. Just because your cu-" she began, going off on a rampage.
Phil held up a hand, a smirk on his face. "One day, and that's it. Send it to me over e-mail. Not Facebook. The last time I got one of those..." he shuddered, "horrible. One day, Amara. One."
"Thank you, Mr. Wenneck!" she squealed, smiling as she sped out the class. Luckily for her, she drove her car close enough so that she could leave as soon as she got dismissed.
After walking for atleast a mile(freshman parking was a pain in the ass, and usually they didn't even keep cars on campus), she got to her lime green camero and sped to her aunt's house, where they were all meeting.
When she arrived, someone was there to great her.
"Amara!" screamed her aunt, the brown locks flowing down her back. Brown eyes popped out of her big eyes, with pixie like features they exploded. She reminds me of what you would describe Alice to look like, from Twilight, but that isn't important. What was important, was what was coming next.
"Hey Aunt Alice(yes, I know, Ironic right?)!" she went up and hugged her aunt with a strong arm. "Are you ready for this weekend?"
Her aunt smiled. "Umm...hell yeah! Girl, I'm getting married! To the love of my life."
"Sure...love of your life. Alan? Hah."
Yes, indeed. This beautiful woman was getting married to none other than Alan Garner, who was the brother-in-law to her mother's cousin. So, basically marrying into the family. Nice right?
No, not really.
"So, who are these guys going on the bachelor party, Aunt Alice?" asked Amara, his voice filling with question. "I'd really like to know, since I'll probably be seeing them for most of the week-"
"AMARA!" screamed Alan, coming out of no where and joining the hug. "Guess what?"
She detatched herself slowly, trying to get out of the tangled mess of limbs. "You invited Orlando Bloom?"
"No, but that would be SWEET!" he said, jumping up and down. "No. You're coming on my bachelor party."
She did a double take. "What?"
"Yeah!" he said, enthused about the whole thing. "Your mom said it was alright. It's just gonna be me, you, Doug, my buddie Stu, and my buddy Phil."
Her mouth dropped open. "Phil. Phil Wenneck?"
"Yeah, why?"
"He's my history teacher, and I seriously hate his guts."
"Why?"
"Because he's an ass, that's why."
Someone cleared their throat behind her, and her eyes widened. Slowly, she turned around to find three men behind her.
Doug Billings. No duh.
The man she was guessing was Stu. A bit geeky.
And, last but not least.
Phil Wenneck.
"Oh, shit."
