Here’s the background (it’s rather short): Hochstetter has just taken Crittendon in for questioning. No reason, other than I needed a dialogue. You can tell who’s saying what just by reading it. That was part of the point of the assignment….
“Do say, may I take this blindfold off yet?”
“Eef you take off zat belindfold now, ve’ll haf to shoot chyoo.”
“Oh. Well that sounds rather unpleasant now doesn’t it?”
“Vould you shut up?! You’ve been yammering everr seence ve left Stalag Therteen.”
“Sorry, chap. But one does get lonely when it’s so dark.”
“I’ll make sure *perrsonally* that chyou arr lonely ven ve’re through wit chyoo.”
“Oh! It’s good to know thet I’m cared about.”
“Baaaaahhhh!”
“Do say, are you alright? Maybe you should see a doctor.”
“I’m fine!”
“Studies have shown that prolonged exposure to a *negative* environment such as the Gestapo can have very undezairable consequences.”
“I seenk I have a headache…..”
