Disclaimer: I do not own Superstar, I only came up with the OC's. So enjoy, fellow fans of this under appreciated movie!
I sat in the back of the dark room, waiting for the class to end. I had always hated history, but today we were watching a movie, so I was happy. My name is Leigh Bright, and I'm a student here at St. Monica's Catholic school. I have long, light-blonde hair, blue eyes, and a round-ish face. As for my weight, I'd say that I'm Buxom, after all I am an athlete; track to be specific. I was actually born in northern Alabama, but I've spent enough time here so that my accent doesn't show as much.
Evian Graham and her boyfriend Sky were making out in the seat in front of me, and boy, was it sickening! I was drawing a picture of her getting raped by Ronald McDonald. I hated Evian enough as it was anyway, because once upon a time, I almost had a chance at him. I mean who wouldn't wan him, he's fucking perfect! To make things worse, today is the day of the anniversary of me being dumped over Evian. Aside from them, my friend Cody was in the back of the room reading his history textbook, but we all knew that there was a porno magazine hidden in the book.
Then the bell rang, signaling the beginning of lunch, so I got up to leave. I thought about talking to Sky, but Evian might try and piss me off, so I caught up to Cody in the hallway. Cody was taller than me, and had sort of long brown hair that covered his eyes, and his appearance was really lanky.
"Hey, you!" I shouted after him.
"Oh, hey Leigh!" he said. "You want to skip next period?"
"Next period is lunch, dumbass." I barked.
"Uh, yeah. You wanna skip lunch!" he said
"I don't see your point, Cody."
"Father John says I can eat lunch in the special Ed room if I do some of his paperwork!" he stated proudly.
"What the fuck is so special about eating in the special Ed room?" I asked him.
"Dude, come on!" he said before running off to get his lunch. I continued to walk to my locker until I was hit by a door swinging open in front of me! I got up and clasped my nose, that hurt like hell! The girl who had opened the door was none other than my best friend, Lola!
"OHMIGOSH!" she screamed in panic. "I'm so so so so SORRY!" I put my hands on her shoulders to try and calm her down.
"Lola, it's OKAY!" I told her. After a few seconds she calmed down a bit. Lola was really short, and had mildly tan skin. Her hair was dyed bright red, and her nose was small, like a button. We walked down together to the special Ed room. Cody was already in there with that pervert, Howard. They were both looking at each others porno magazines like children look at trading cards. I figured they weren't going to notice me so I sat down with Mary Katherine Gallagher, and her ADD friend, Helen. She didn't see me, so I slammed my books onto her desk, sending her into shock.
"What's up bitches?" I said, I knew Mary would be shocked that I'd greet someone like that.
"Oh, hello Leigh." she said in that soft tone of voice she had.
We talked for all of lunch, but all they talked about was, well…. Weird stuff. Until Sky Corrigan entered the conversation. Wait, Mary had a crush on him too?
"Wait a minute!" I yelled, "Since when do you like Sky!"
"He's so dreamy." she said, "I want to kiss him, like in the movies, and then we'll become Superstars together and-"
"Sky is going out with Evian Graham!" I blurted out.
"I know…" she said sadly.
"Trust me, Mary, if Evian wants a man, there's nothing that can get in her way. Trust me, I know." I said as Mary looked up at me confused.
"Did you used to like Sky?" she asked.
"Hell, yeah I did!" I said as I started to raise my voice. "And it's all Evian's fault too, that dumb bitch! She doesn't fucking deserve him!" I yelled, but then I had to calm myself down before I lost it. But when I looked up, everyone in the room was staring at me. Okay, maybe I need to learn self control better.
AN: This is actually a redone chapter because I wanted to switch the story from third to first person narrative.
