Sharkboy snaked his arm around behind Lavagirl's back and rested his hand on her shoulder. To his dismay he felt his hand scorch and flinched away. Lavagirl smiled and offered him her finger. He took it and they continued to walk down the beach…

"I'm really gonna miss max" Lavagirl said, shyly

"Me too, but maybe we will see him again" he said,

"Yup, your right" she said,

"Sharkboy, I'm sorry that I burn your butt when you were calling the ice princess beautiful" she said, shyly

"It's ok, don't worry" he chuckled

"How would you feel if I was dead" she began

"Trust me, I would gone crazy" he said,

"Let's not talk about that" he said,

"Oh ok" she said,

They kept walking until Lavagril stopped "What's wrong" Sharkboy asked her…

"You think, one day I'll be able to join you underwater" she said

"I hope so" he said smiling at her…"It would be wonderful if somehow you and I can be human" she said,

"Maybe" he said, she laughs…

"So um would you like to um" sharkboy began

"Go on" she said,

"Want to have a picnic with me near the sand, tomorrow" he said,

"I would love that" she giggled

Sharkboy walked Lavagirl to her cave of volcano "Um" he began "Thanks" she said, "Sweet dreams" he said, getting closer to her, Lavagirl started to fire up, she was so nervous

"Sorry" he said,

"It's ok" she said, she went inside the cave and disappeared in the darkness

Sharkboy left running to the Ocean and went underwater, the sharks were following the king of the ocean, and sharkboy was out of the water and went inside his father's submarine…

"Dad can I tell you something" he said, looking down

"Sure son" he said,

"How does it feel to be human, like to walk around people and touch someone or something you like or love?" he said,

"Well son being human is fun but it can be hard" he said,

"You think if I were human, and also Lavagirl, we will be normal teen boyfriend and girlfriend" he chuckled

"Maybe" his dad said, "Time for bed son" he said,

"OK" he said, he went to his small room and closed his eyes and went to sleep…

While he was asleep something strange was happening Sharkboy was glowing and so was Lavagirl…
