Hello! This is my new story as you can see and if anyone is reading any of my other stories, I'm really sorry for not taking them off hiatus but I am starting to get some ideas for the stories that have not been put up for adoption so hopefully, some of my previous stories will be up and going again soon.
Full summary: It's Harry's fifth year at the feast after the students have come back from spending Christmas at home. It's a completely normal atmosphere until the enchanted roof starts to act like a storm, spitting out four people, seemingly from no where at all. Those four people? The four founders of Hogwarts and they're not happy with how their beloved school turned out nearly 1000 years after they built it.
I own NOTHING! Everything you read here belongs not to me but to JKR. Unless you see any OC's who are completely my own.
Pictures of Hogwarts, the founders and their spouses will be on my profile.
It was a completely normal day for the Golden Trio in their fifth year. There was loud chatter from each house table from the students and the teachers were talking amongst themselves, everyone unaware that the enchanted roof of the Great Hall was starting to stir and darken, until it was nearly black with storm clouds.
There was a sudden flash of lightning and a clap of deafening thunder from the sky. Rain started pouring down and soaking students and the teachers through in a matter of seconds, even though weather like this inside the Great Hall was meant to evaporate before it could reach the students.
Wind blew, and the hall was getting colder and colder with every passing second. Many students tried to get shelter underneath their house tables but to no avail. The wind was rising and actually grew strong enough to blow the tables to the side, forcing teachers and the headmaster to try and control the flying food, drink, tables and even a few of the smaller first years with their strongest magic.
Students screamed and tried to get out of the huge double doors but only to find that the powerful wind has blown them shut and they had stuck, leaving everyone trapped inside the Great Hall, practically powerless.
But, suddenly, things seemed to get a little quieter, until there was no storm left at all. Students and the teachers sighed in relief but Dumbledore, the headmaster remained cautious as things were set back in place and people started taking their places again. He sat but didn't touch his recovered meal despite of his grumbling belly.
The chatter started up again, everyone focusing on just the storm that had just passed.
Until, another flash and clap of lightning and thunder, but they didn't lead to a storm. Oh, no. Four people had randomly fallen from the roof out of thin air!
The teachers were up in an instant, their wands trained on the pile of four people in medieval clothing on the floor, a red haired man at the bottom, with another brunette haired man and a petite blonde woman sandwiched between the red haired man on the bottom and a dark haired woman who was on top of the pile of people.
The red haired man raised a hand that wasn't trapped underneath him, "I'm going to go with ow."
Slowly, they untangled themselves from each other, the brunette haired man, rubbing his lower back in pain, "Suck it up Godric, be a man for once in your life."
"I'll have you know Salazar, I am in fact every bit of a man and a very mature one at that."
"Mature! Ha! I wait for the day that you, Godric Gryffindor, will be mature, both you and Salazar have the maturity of a five year old!" the blonde woman stretched and helped the other dark haired woman up.
Whispers whooshed through the hall at the mention of the men's names, the only Godric Gryffindor they knew was one of the founders who had died centuries ago.
Dumbledore approached the four people, two of whom were now known as Godric Gryffindor and Salazar, presumably, Slytherin, Dumbledore cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the four people who were now rubbing at their injured limbs from their fall, "Excuse me, but if you would all reveal your names and we would be happy to help you along on your way in the morning."
The blonde haired woman stood closer to Dumbledore, watching him through curious eyes, "Helga Hufflepuff sir, and what should your name be?"
Eyes widened around the room as the other three people introduced themselves as Salazar Slytherin, Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw.
Dumbledore swallowed thickly and was about to respond but before he could, Professor Umbridge, the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher stepped forward, the baby pink of her robes looking sickly against the dark green and silver robes of Slytherin, "You, cannot be the founders of Hogwarts, they all died hundreds of years ago and when they did pass, Hogwarts became government property, now, I demand that you give up your real names before I am forced to use veritaserum on you all."
"Now, now, Professor, veritaserum will not be needed if they can prove to be who they say they are." Dumbledore stepped forward before any of the four people who claimed to be the founders could react to her words.
Godric stepped up towards the headmaster, "Hogwarts, our pride and joy, will you please come forward and identify us to be your creators?"
Everyone looked at each other, questioning Godric Gryffindor's sanity, but suddenly, a soft breeze swept through the hall and the doors opened softly shutting behind a young girl with white hair and bright blue eyes, probably no younger than fifteen who was practically dancing over to the founder's sides, taking Salazar's and Helga's hands in her own, small pale ones, "You summoned me father?"
If the boys of Hogwarts hadn't been attracted to this beautiful young girl when she first walked in, they were now, her voice sounded like the soft ringing of bells. Even most of the girls were envious of her features.
Godric turned around to face the girl, "Oh, Hogwarts, I am never failed to be shocked of your beauty my dear." He enveloped her in a hug which the girl returned.
"Really father? How many times must I tell you that it was yours and my two mothers and my other father tender care that made me so beautiful when you first built me."
"Do we not get a hug dear?"
Hogwarts turned around to face her dark haired mother before throwing her arms around Rowena's thin waist.
Each of the other founders got their own hug before Hogwarts finally faced the teachers and students before them, "These people are who they say they are headmaster. And can I say, the history that you all have of the falling out my two fathers supposedly had was all a rumour, and you!" she turned to Umbridge her calm mood suddenly growing into fury, "how can you honestly expect that your pathetic method of teaching gives these students any chance of staying alive out there? Do not say that Tom Riddle has not returned because you know he has, all these disappearances that you're pinning on Sirius Black is all codswallop! You have brought shame upon my red haired father's subject."
Silence rang throughout the hall but Harry was filled with hope and happiness, someone who didn't even know Sirius was defending him!
It seemed that none of the teachers could get their mouths to work, which, it seemed worked perfectly fine with the founders and Hogwarts all of whom were now sitting on the floor, Godric and Hogwarts having a mini duel of sorts, bringing flames and icicles to the tips of their fingers, Salazar watching on, sometimes joining in, with Rowena and Helga watching them in amusement talking about how different the castle looked now.
The mini duel had ended and now Salazar was talking with Godric, both of them occasionally laughing while Hogwarts covered her hands in flames, then freezing them into ice before breaking them off her hands, putting some sort of purple charm on them making the icicles carve themselves into a lion, snake, badger and eagle. When she was happy that they were finished, Hogwarts put a charm on them that glowed yellow for a moment before the fire that had been frozen to create the delicate looking carvings erupted again, concealed within the ice. Smiling to herself, Hogwarts plucked four single long strands of hair from her head and fed them through a small hole in the ice figures, casting a simple strengthening spell on each hair as well as a different spell that had been lost for years, making the hair look like two separate strands in two different colours, the colours of the houses, red and gold on the lion, silver and green on the snake, the badger had yellow and black and the eagle had blue and bronze.
Salazar suddenly sighed, looking at the teachers, "Are you going to say anything or shall we just go down into my chamber while you grow some spines and come find us?" he stood, Hogwarts jumping up with him, trying to tie the necklace she had made each of them around his neck.
"I must admit, it is rather boring just waiting around for you to say something." Rowena stood too, brushing invisible dirt from her blue dress, accepting her necklace with a small smile at Hogwarts.
"Yeah, lets go down into Salazar's chamber for a bit, I want to see what it looks like now." Godric jumped up, his new necklace hanging from his neck was resting on his robes, grabbing Hogwarts's hand and gently pulling her and the others towards the doors.
"Wait!" Dumbledore managed to get his mouth working again, making the founders and Hogwarts stop in their tracks, "I am sorry but you must understand that this is a big shock for all of us."
Dumbledore sent the students to bed and all at once, chatter started up again, all about the founder's and Hogwarts's sudden appearance.
"Now, as this delightful young lady said, our history might be wrong, so if you would kindly sit and explain."
That's the first chapter done! Pictures for the founders, their spouses that will be coming in later on and Hogwarts as a girl will be on my profile so I suggest you look at them so you have a better image of the people I imagine in your heads.
Review! Give any advice or criticism but if you're going to flame my story, what's the point in reading it? All flames will be ignored.
