Chapter 4

"your what?" replied Torak with disbelief. The shock of the announcement made him feel slightly queasy but he knew nothing better could have happened.

"you heard me! I'm pregnant! Isn't this wonderful?" Renn cried.

"praise the world spirit!" he muttered then more loudly, "yes its brilliant!"

They hugged and kissed for what seemed like hours but when Torak pulled away it seemed like moments.

"I'm going for a walk, want to come?" asked Torak turning to Renn.

"yes. I'd like that."

Torak had spent the day after their walk with Renn at their shelter, talking, playing with the wolves and preparing dinner. Renn was now asleep so Torak could do his routine search for Eostra. He crunched on the black root and was sucked into a tree. Eostra was near maybe in the mountains but heading down for the eastern forest. It was then that Torak realised her plan.

"Renn! Wake up! Wake up!" yelled Torak "We have to move as far away from the mountains as we can!"

"Why?" Renn moaned "I'm tired."

"It's Eostra, I know her plan! Just think! The spirit walkers child!"

"yeah, what about it?"

"It combined with an elemental, would be the most powerful tokoroth ever!"
