Hey everyone! I just want to quickly shout out to all the people who have favourited my stories, and/or added me to their story alert or author alert. It really means a lot to me :)

And I don't own the characters in this story, only the plot

Since when was Bob an evil name?

So this was it. My old life. Right here, in my hands. And no, I'm not dying.

"How'd you find this?" I asked in a whispered voice. I curled my hand protectively around the blue bear I was holding in my hand, his fur dirty, with little softness.

"Do you remember when it was stolen from you?" Poseidon touched my shoulder. "Well, I went down to earth and stole it back for you. But by then, your mother had bought you another."

I sniffed. Was I crying? I was crying.

"What was his name again?"

I smiled. "Bob."

"Ah, what a perfectly suited name," Poseidon looked around. We were standing at the end of an old pier, from sight of any pesky campers.

"I'm guessing you have to go now," I said as he continued to look around.

Poseidon's eyes dimmed. "I do. But we will talk soon."

I nodded. "Until then."

Poseidon stepped off the pier onto a bridge of water that had appeared beneath his feet, and continued to walk away until he was but a distant dot, before diving under the water.

I turned around, and was nearly bowled backwards by an over excited Travis, being pursued by Connor.

"Quickly!" Travis waved over his brother. When he saw Poseidon was already gone, he slapped his leg.

I raised an eye brow at them. "What are you guys doing?"

Travis looked at me, realising then I was standing there, and his gaze travelled to the bear in my hands.

"Since when did you like teddies?" He asked. Connor came up beside him, and covered his smile with his hand.

I turned my back on them, and began to walk away when they ran to me, one on each side.

"What's her name?"

Connor peaked forwards, looking over at Travis. "It is clearly, a he."

Travis stopped walking. "Uh huh, it's a she."

"He."

"She."

"He."

I snuck away as quickly as I could, tucking Bob into my pocket. I didn't need another incident like that.

"Hey, Percy," Annabeth came skipping over, sketch book tucked under her arm. "Where have you been?"

"Down by the pier," I smiled at her, putting my arm around her waist. "But don't worry, I was thinking about you the whole time."

She placed her free arm around me, beaming. "I'm sure you were. Anyway, what I had to say was the Chiron wanted to see you. He said it was serious," her face darkened, "About another kind of danger. It's as if we don't have enough already."

I stopped her and turned so we were face to face. "Don't worry. We've gotten through too many dangers for this to be any different."

She smiled. "I hope so." She kissed me quickly on the cheek, making me blush, before pointing to her sketch pad and saying, "I have to take this to my cabin. You go ahead and meet Chiron. I'll be there soon."

I watched her begin to run off, and noticed with a smile the head of a fairy toy sticking from her pocket. It seems she found a lost toy too.

As I made my way up the steps to Chiron's office, I didn't notice the small buzz in my pocket, or the fact that for a split second, my bear's eyes glowed a deathly red.
