Hello everyone that actually reads these stupid A/N's at the beginning of stories. I know I don't read them unless I practically praise the fanfic.
Anyways, enjoy!

*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
"Antonio!" Clay yelled into the house, his voice booming through the huge house. Nick and I stumbled into the house with Acelynn held carefully in between us. Elena was scrambling around us, holding the door, watching Acelynn's head, and bossing us around. The Pack was going to be in good hands in a couple years.
"Here, put her down on the couch so we can check the bite." Elena ordered and Nick and I placed her down onto the burgundy leather sofa as carefully as we could. Elena sat beside her and brushed back her hair to open up the bandages. Antonio and Clay showed up in the living room then, almost hitting the walls as they scrambled in.
"What happened?" Antonio asked as he knelt beside Elena to see the bite. I wasn't growling anymore, but the wolf was at the edge, seeing more of the situation than I was.
"Bit in an alley. She was Reese's friend, he found her and the mutt." Antonio looked up at me as another growl shuddered through my chest.
"*Is*" I said lowly, and Elena looked confused for a moment. "She *is* my friend. She's not dead yet Elena." she nodded in acknowledgment, and wrapped up Acelynn's neck again.
"Right; we need to get her into the cage quickly. She seems to be in transition now." Nick looked kind of shocked as he took her shoulders to lift her up and I grabbed her legs.
"So fast? She was only bit an hour ago, tops." He asked as he opened the basement door with his foot, and nudged it with his shoulder.
"It travels faster than you'd think Nick. It's not like normal werewolves who just grow into it." Elena explained as she unlocked the cage door. Clay snorted from behind us as he helped carry in the first aid kit, and some heavy blankets. "What the hell are *normal* werewolves darlin'? Theres nothing normal about turning into an animal in your free time." Elena shot him a dirty look and then closed the cage door in Acelynn, who had started shivering and convulsing as soon as she'd been set on the cot. I moved to grab the door, but Clay shot forward and took me down. I'm not proud to say that I growled at him, and actually tried to claw my way out, but the wolf was not happy with having this girl unattended in a dirty, wet cell.
"Clay, you need to get him out of here, now!" Elena yelled, and I felt myself being picked up and shoved into a wall, stunning me for a moment, before being shot upstairs and thrown on the couch in the living room.
"Settle down!" Clay bellowed and the wolf cowered in the corner, retreating hastily from my mind's eye. I sat as still as I could while my body stopped jumping around and calmed down before nodding in Clayton's direction. "You jumping in that cage isn't going to help Elena with Acelynn. I suggest you stay up here for a while, until we're ready." I nodded curtly, not impressed with the idea of waiting. Clay seemed to think the same thing and watched me for a second, probably to see if I was going to bolt. Not the first time I would have done so, but I wasn't like that anymore.
"Clayton!" Antonio yelled from the basement, and Clay moved away, going down the stairs towards the rest of the Pack and my girl. *What the hell?* My *girl?*

It must have been another hour before I heard something other than the screams of Acelynn. The Pack was talking. Elena was asking questions. That must mean she's awake. The wolf perked up at the thought, and urged me to go down to the basement.
"Shut up. She's fine, everyone else is down there, she's fine." I whispered to myself, but the wolf continued to pace. I settled down myself, and lay back on the couch, and stay completely still. That is, until Acelynn screamed again, and I was off like a shot. I pushed the door out of the way so fast, I heard a crack, which I'm sure I was going to pay for later but at the moment I really didn't care. I shot past Elena as she tried to close the cage door, but I was already at the opening, snarling at her and whoever was holding me back. She was so damn close, laying on the cot with a mountain of blankets over her, by I couldn't get any closer. The wolf whimpered when someone grabbed me back the back of my shirt and yanked me back and out of the cage.
"Are you crazy? What would have happened if she attacked you, or one of us? Get your head back onto your shoulders Reese!" Elena yelled at me, and the wolf whimpered again, unimpressed by being treated so unfairly. "And secondly-"
"Reese?" All our heads whipped around to where Acelynn was, and saw her sitting up in the cot, rubbing at her eyes where tears had obviously been falling for a while now. She was looking around wildly, searching for something. I felt someone heft me up from the ground and push me towards the cage, instead of pull me back like I thought they would have. This caught me off guard and I stumbled into the bars, instead of a more graceful landing. I glared over my shoulder to see both Nick and Clay shrug their shoulders. Elena was beside me in an instant, right by my shoulder. Her scent washed over me and my wolf practically barked in excitement from having the Alpha elect so close, and for her allowing us to be closer to Acelynn.
"Change of plans. She obviously seems to remember you, and will therefore feels a type of connection with you. She'll trust you more than me. So I need you to listen and ask her questions for us. Got it?" she whispered to me and I nodded while the wolf purred in delight over this new found connection to Acelynn. I turned around again, grasping the metal bars in my fists and leaned into the cage bars. She was looking around now, completely freaked out over waking up in a cage, I'm sure.
"Ace? Sweetie, how are you feeling?" I drawled out slowly for her, and she jumped when I spoke to her. The wolf was prancing around, almost trying to rub against the cafe bars, making Acelynn feel better about the situation.
"I, I'm not sure. What's going on? Why am I sitting in a fucking cage, with, like, ten people staring at me?" She sounded almost angry now, sitting up a little straighter on the cot. The wolf chortled a little, amused at the feisty girl in front of us. A smirk rose on my face, and I shifted my weight slightly, but her eyes followed it closely. Scouting for danger. My pose relaxed even further for her to realize I wasn't a threat.
"There's only five people, honey." she scoffed and threw up her hands.
"Whatever! Like I was actually going to take time and count. Ten sounded more threatening anyways." a chuckle sounded from behind me and Acelynn's gaze shifted over to where I'm sure Elena was cuffing Clayton across his head. "Where am I?" Acelynn asked me again, and this time Elena came forward.
"You're in the basement of the Sorrentino's estate. You were brought here from the city when Reese found you in an alley after being attacked. Does any of this sound familiar to you?" If this situation wasn't as horrible as it was, Acelynn's expression probably would have had everyone rolling around laughing.
"What?" She asked quietly, but I didn't answer her. The question was obviously not meant for anyone to answer. Her mind couldn't seem to comprehend the fact that somehow that horrible had happened to her.
"Acelynn, look at me." I said louder than before, making her look at me this time. And she did, but the fear in her eyes was almost jumping out at attention. "You are safe now. You are in here to stay safe, while you get better." Elena slapped my arm now, and I looked at her sharply.
"Get better? What's wrong with me?" Metal face smack. That would explain the slap from Elena.
"You have been bitten, Acelynn. That man who attacked you was not human. He was a werewolf, a mutt, not like us. Because you were bitten, you are now in the middle of your transition in becoming a werewolf as well." Clayton said flatly, with a dead silence following him.
"What the fuck?" Acelynn screamed at us, and then bolted from her bed, trying to get loose as quick as possible, her instincts kicking in. She actually made progress for a moment, catching us all by surprise.
That is, until her muscles spasmed and she fell to her knees, beginning to Change.

I'm starting to think that this story is lacking, and I'm not quite portraying everything I want to correctly. Hopefully this sounds good to you guys, because it sounds really crappy to me right now. Maybe just cause I'm tired, I have no idea.
