Me and my cousin,Mellissa trudged behind my cousin,Hayley,and my brother,Matthew.
"Hay-hay,can we see a different animal now?"I asked,'d been looking at the lemurs for what felt like two hours.
"Sure,Just let me finsh writing...Okay,let's go."Hayley,Hay-hay or Jenny to me,the young girl was only 14,but she was so smart you couldn't tell she was two years younger then me.
"Annie?"Hayley's voice said,snapping me out of my thoughts.
"What?Sorry,Jenny,I wasn't listening."I said.
"I said,can we see the penguins?"
"I'm not sure,it looks pretty crowded over there..."I said unsurely.
"PLEASE?POR FAVOR?PER FAVORE?BITTE?нареч. пожалуйста"Hayley pleaded,jumping up and down in her white and silver shoes.
"Oh,alright!But don't whine to me if you can't see."I snapped,streching and starting to walk.
"I'm not short!"Hayley protested,running after me.
"Well I'm still taller then you!"I whispered through gritted teeth.
'We used to be so close!What happened?'I thought sadly.
I lived in Pasadena and I was visiting Hayley and Melissa in New York right now.
When the zoo started closing,we saw the penguins smiling and waving at the leaving people.
"WHY can't I have a normal life?"I muttered,pondring my question to myself for a few minutes while I leaned on the fence.14 year old Hayley did the same,studying the flightless turning off,and Hayley's notepad and pencil fell in the tried to lean over the rail to get them,but tumbled over the fence and plunged into the water there instead.

"Don't go spanish on me!I don't understand it!"Hayley said,climing onto the cement ice floe wringing her curly blonde hair out,now strait because of it being wet.
"How'd she get in there?"Melissa liked being called Brooke,or her middle name,which,still,was Brooke.
"I don't know HOW she got over the fence,but remember,we're in this together."I said,putting one foot on the edge of the fence railing and pushing myself up and over the fence.
"Oh mi dios.I'm coming."The 17 year old Melissa said,sighing and leaping over the fence.I jumped into the water and helped my brother over the fence.
"The gang's all here."I sighed,swimming back and I were now soaked from head-to-toe.
"Our parents are gonna KILL us!"Hayley said.
"Who are you and what do you want?"A male voice said.
"Wha-Who was tha..."I said,turning and trailing off as I saw a penguin talking to me.
"Oh mi dios..."I said.
"Kowalski,analasis."The penguin said,turning to a taller penguin behind it.
"It seems she,"The tall one,apparently Kowalski,said,pointing a flipper at Hayley,"dropped her notepad in here,
and accidently got over the fence to get the ,"he said,turning to me and Melissa and pointing at us,"climbed over along with work like a team."
'TALKING penguins?What next?They fight taekwondo and karate?'I thought
"Mam'm?"A british voice said behind me.
"Wha?"I said,turning around.A short penguin stood behind me,looking at me and Hayley.
"Yeah?"I asked.
"Are you okay?"
"What?I'm not hurt..."
"Yuh-huh."A taller penguin said,indicating my arm.
"What?"I said,glancing at my arm."Oh!Wow,how did I NOT notice that?"
A cut was in my arm,bleeding,and there was glass embedded in the cut.
"Ok,now why does that hurt now?"I said,grasping my arm.
Kowalski waddled over to me and said,"Move your hand."
I listened,not caring he was a penguin.
"That's a pretty deep cut.."Kowalski said,inspecting the cut.
"To be honest,No sé cómo conseguí que cortar."
"What?"Kowalski said.
"Sorry,I said,to be honest,I don't know how I got that cut."
Then everything went black.
