Welcome to chapter 6. Sorry I haven't updated this but I have a bunch of other story's I was updating.

The boy on fire

We were all back at the castle now watching the stuff about the hunger games. I still just couldn't believe that this was happening and that Daniel could die in a few days because of this stupid law on his planet. The parade was about to start.

"So I've heard that Daniel's district got a new stylist. I wonder if he will be dressed like a coal miner or there will be a change." Pidge said.

"Who knows." I said.

"My moneys on Daniel." Lance said reading the letter we just got about how we could bet on tributes to help get them supplies to survive this.

"Same here." Hunk said. We were all betting on Daniel so he could get supplies to win. That's when the parade started.

"Look here comes district 1 looking amazing." Said a man on screen. He went through as the tributes came out saying what each of them was. "Hey what's that in the back?" he said. We all looked closer and saw Daniel in his chariot. He was on fire. He was wearing a black suit that covered everything but his head and a cape. It was entirely lit up with real fire but he didn't seem to feel it. He also had his hair done with a head piece that had little flames going all the way around it. It was amazing. The boy on fire. He was waving his hand in the air as people around him cheered and threw flowers for him.

"Wow that's… amazing." I said in awe.

"Ya…" everyone else said.

"It's all just so…" Larmina started.

"Unthinkable…" Pidge said.

"You took the words right out of my mouth." Lance said as we all stared at the screen. The chariots all stopped and President Snow came up and talked but we didn't hear him because we were all still too focused on Daniel. The president finished and the chariots were pulled off screen and it ended. But we all still started in awe. After this Daniel would be training for about a week and then he would be off to fight for his life in the Hunger Games…
