The hateful flames licked my body,
The thick smoke clouded my vision,
Together they pushed the air out of my body.
I begged for help,
He just laughed.
The beautiful clear water,
Dragged me under,
I suffocated in the eerie silence.
It filled my lungs.
I let out one last scream,
He just laughed.
I lay in the pale white snow,
Frozen tears beneath my eyes,
This was my punishment for all my lies.
With one last shiver,
My heart froze.
He just laughed.
He was my demon,
He was my reality,
No knight to save me,
No final wish.
He is the one,
In fear they follow.
In pride I will die,
In glory I am alive.
