After watching Winter Cicada (such a touching story!) I wanted to write this poem. No smut, just my idea because it reminded me of Romeo and Juliet.
Please enjoy if you will. :D

Cicada
For a long time we'll be asleep
waiting for our dawn to rise.
I pray to god our souls to reap
but mourn not my demise.
Can you see the future ahead,
where our dreams may come true?
And while I lay upon this bed,
I can only think of you.
Though I should leave you here,
without you, I can't take what life brings about.
Because your sweet voice catches my ear
may I leave from a murderous route.
Though our kin will shun us away
and judgmental eyes will glare,
We can walk forward each day
just knowing each other are there.
So I'll sink into my shell
darkness drowning out my sorrows
so I may sit and wait until
there is a better 'morrow.
Until this war comes to an end,
Lay with me in the crimson snow
Upon me you may depend,
For you I will always follow.
Sleep with me in our bed of snow
waiting for winter to pass us by.
And when summer lights our world aglow
May we find a time, just for you and I.
