Chapter 11: The Moon Step

A/N: Over 1,000 hits. I want to thank all of you and this story will move back Friday next week.

Uryu and Odd stood a few feet from each other. Both of them like to fight from a distance. But there is a difference between their styles, Odd often times charge in and don't have a plan set before he does it. Uryu, on the other hand, figures out what to do first and then pick a good strategy so he could defeat his enemy.

Odd: Laser Arrow!

Odd begin to fire a barrage of at Uryu hoping that one might hit him. But Uryu use his arrows to counter Odd's.

Uryu: There's the problem, you act before you think.

Odd: Oh yeah, Lighting Arrow!

Uryu turned around and saw Odd but was too late to react causing an explosion. Once the smoke cleared, Uryu was gone. Odd looked around trying to find the missing Quicy but he was nowhere to be found.

Uryu: You know, I take that back. You do think before you act.

Odd continued to look and find where the voice is coming from.

Uryu: Up here, Odd.

Odd looked up and saw Uryu standing in mid air. This shocked all four of the Lyoko Warriors.

Odd (surprised): You can fly?

Ulrich (surprised): No way.

Yumi (shocked): How can he do that?

Aelita (shocked): How did he get there so fast?

Uryu: It's simple really. There are three different high speed movements in our group. Soul Reapers, like Ichigo and Rukia, used a technique called the Flash Step. Arrancars, like Nel, used the sonido. The Quincy, like me used a move called Hirenkyaku.

Odd: Okay but, how can you stand in midair.

Uryu (pointing at Ichigo, Nel, and Rukia): Normally, high level arrancars and soul reapers can stand in midair without a problem. This is something I just learned. I've learned to make a platform with the reishi in a surrounding area so I can stand in midair.

Ichigo (annoyed): Why is singling us out?

Nel: I don't know

Rukia: He using us as an example, just ignore him.

Odd: I don't know with this reishi stuff is but we got something to be in midair too.

Uryu: Really, and what's that.

Odd: You see, Ulrich is the only one that can move in high speed. Aelita is the only that fly out of the four of us. So I figure, why find a way fight in midair?

Ulrich: What is Odd talking about? Aelita is the only able to do that.

Yumi: Unless he can grow wings and fly.

Odd: I've worked this for a while and I think got it down.

Uryu (curious): So what's it called?

Odd: The Moon Step.

Ichigo: The Moon Step?

Chad: A pretty name.

Orihime (curious): What does it mean?

Nel: I think he means like walking as if you're on the moon.

Orihime: Wow, really?

Ichigo: I don't think that's what he meant.

Odd: Now, allow me demonstrate ladies and gentlemen. (Kneeling to one knee) Moon Step.

Odd skyrocketed to the air until where Uryu is and then landed in midair, standing on it like a soul reaper.

Uryu: Impressive.

Odd: Thank you, where were we?
