I don't own Revenge or the Lion King.
Nolan was halfway through hacking into the FBI database to adjust Emily's history, yet another favour he would probably receive very little thanks for, when he heard a voice.
"Tut tut, you do realise this site is supposed to be classified Nolan." He span around jumping up to look around the darkened room, his mind dashing back to Tyler's attack. He couldn't see the source of the voice, it sounded feminine, which would be reassuring except that it also sounded automated, like the voice used on a satnav only huskier, which meant it could really be anyone. "Don't panic Nolan, look down." He noticed his screen had changed, it was back to his desktop rather than partway through decoding with a tracking timer in the corner, now however there was an animated lioness, like the Disney ones, lounging across the screen and looking right at him. It winked.
"How did you get into my computer?"
"A good magician never reveals her secrets." The cat stretched slowly with a wide yawn as it stood up. "Besides I think you have bigger problems."
"Bigger problems than a escapee from the lion king on my desktop?"
"No. Bigger than how. For instance why, and what next." The lioness seemed to smirk at him.
"So why have you hacked my computer? You have to know I'll find you."
"I was bored. I do hope you will try and find me, that the whole point of the little game I want to play with you after all."
"I'm not your toy." Nolan began to try and open up a tracking program, the window opened only to be pounced on by the cat who left great claw marks down the coding spilling it out of the window to puddle beneath it on the desktop. As disturbed as he was by his private computer being hacked he had to admit whoever it was had style.
"Oh, well I suppose I could just send all the details of you hacking in to the FBI, they'll be very interested, if you'd prefer not to play?"
"Now lets not be hasty. Why don't you tell me just what the rules are?" Nolan kept his voice calm, trying to sound interested as he attempted to write a text to tech support to get a tracker going only to find his phone unresponsive.
"Oh it's very simple. You have one month from the end of our conversation to figure out exactly who I am, something I'm sure you're dying to do anyway, and type my full name, as it appears on my original birth certificate into the box here." The lioness lashed her tail, the point landing on an icon he hadn't had on his desktop before and it opened to show a clock set on 30 days and a box to type into. "I'll give you a clue, it's not Rumplestiltzkin. Get it right and I promise not to give the government a single shred of evidence against you, not to harm your business in any way and so forth. If you haven't guessed by the end of the month, well..." the cat paused looking right at him and doing it's cat smirk, "do you like handcuffs Nolan? Oh and before you start guessing I should warn you, three wrong guesses and not only will enough information go to the government to make them very interested in you but a large portion of the funds from your company will be relocated and the fact made known to the media, that should do wonders for your public image." Nolan seethed at being threatened.
"I'm going to find you bitch and when I do..."
"I'm not a dog Nolan." The lioness interrupted him, it's voice the same even automated tone it had been throughout. "Rather than coming up with ways to deal with me, inventive though I am sure they would be, why don't you focus on finding my furry feline butt first." The lioness turned its back on him, tail twitching and blew a kiss over its shoulder before seeming to step through a cat flap in the desktop to disappear. The timer on the window started to count down and then another window popped up, the files he had been attempting to hack into at the FBI were open, the tracker was stopped and the editing he had been planning to make had already been done, a button glowed at the bottom of the screen saying 'save changes'.
"Oh she is good." He grinned at the screen. "But she doesn't know just who she's messing with."
