Yay! Another ZoLu story. I just realised that there hasn't been a completed one of these in a week! I felt so shocked. I'm sorry I haven't posted a story in a while, I've been busy, and I didn't realise how desperate we are for a new one of these. M rated for a reason ;)
Warnings: ZoLu Yaoi, Implied UsoNa and RoFra, M rated for ZoLu lemons later on ;)

The prow of the thousand sunny went from being splashed by the crystal waters of the Grand Line to turning up the golden sand of yet another island. Anyone who knew the crew even a little would know the captains reaction to a new, unexplored and potentially exiting island.
"LAND HO!" a mop of ebony hair followed by a skinny neck and slender body leapt off the prow and sprawled over the soft plushness of the beach. Luffy stretched his legs out as far as they would go without using his devil power. It had been at least two weeks since the crew had landed on an island and they were low on supplies as well as ways to entertain their hyper-active captain. Luffy laughed happily as his friends poked their heads over the rail at the front of their vessel. "You guys coming down or what?" Luffy grinned up at his crew.
"Come down there and get sand in my clothes? No thank you", Nami turned away from their captain; she was clearly sporting her unimpressed face. "You, Sanji, Zoro and Chopper can go get our supplies. Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, that means you lot are on baby-sitting duty", A collective groan ran through Sanji and Chopper.
"But Nami! I have to finish preparing my rumble balls, and I haven't done the last step of that general anaesthetic I wanted to do".
"Nami-swaaaan, why do I have to look after that brat? Who will protect my lovely ladies?".
"I will be perfectly alright thank you. Anyway we have Usopp and Franky here to protect us, not that Robin needs protecting anyway", the navigator's final verdict echoed hollowly round the cabin to the depressed two hiding in the corner. "We have to go, don't we?", Sanji groaned to an equally depressed looking Chopper, "Seems like it *sniff*".
"Oi! Hurry up you two", Zoro and Luffy were already disappearing into the forests' thick vegetation, When Zoro turned back, there was an evil glint lying in the swordsman's eyes, "Looks like I'm manlier than you after all, crap cook". The cooks Face turned pink, then red, then purple and in a split second Sanji was attacking Zoro with all the force he could muster, "WHAT THE F**** DID YOU JUST SAY?". Chopper suddenly found himself defenceless in the middle of the nuclear warhead that was Nami's temper.
"SANJI! ZORO! WAIT FOR MEEE!"

Nami smiled happily at the dust cloud settling in choppers wake. She would finally be able to have a littleā¦. 'Alone time'.. with a certain sniper she'd had her eye on for a while. Not to mention Robin would be grateful to be able to have an 'adult chat' with a shipwright that she'd been flirting with recently.

Meanwhile, the odd group was trudging through the tropical forest that seemed to dominate most of the Island. Sanji was pretty good at telling their group what was edible and what wasn't, and chopper knew which ones were poisonous or not, so they made it along pretty well, at least, until Luffy decided he was bored.
"Ne, Zoro, Let's play a game", Luffy walked up behind Zoro, with his cheeks puffed out. "Luffy, we can't play a game, we're meant to be gathering supplies", Zoro sighed patiently, "But I'm bored", Luffy groaned. "Count how many trees' we pass or something", by now Zoro was starting to get slightly annoyed, Luffy pouted, "fine whatever".
All went well for about five minutes, before a familiar cry of 'Gomu Gomu no Rocket' was heard. With dread prickling down his spine, Zoro knew that this was god smirking down at him for all those times the green-haired man denied the lords existence.
That was a second before a rubber body flew into him at god knows how many miles an hour.
And that was a second before Zoro was sent flying into the bush with the poisonous-looking yellow leaves and red berries.
And sadly that was also a second before the group got attacked by a pack of hungry looking wolf-dogs that wanted to kill everyone.
Sanji swore. There were at least a hundred of those damn canines, and although they were easily capable of taking down at least ten each, the group was badly outnumbered. Not to mention the shitty swordsman wasn't getting up. Joy.
"Oi, Luffy! Chopper! We're gonna have to retreat, there are far too many of them for us to handle on our own!" Sanji yelled over the sounds of snarling and yelping. Luffy looked over at him with panic in his eyes, "what about Zoro?".
Sanji looked over just in time to see Zoro get up and start taking out pairs of the dogs at a time, said swordsman looked over to Sanji and yelled, "Get going! I can keep them here for a little while, then I'll climb a tree or something, we're not too far in, I can find my way out"
The blonde nodded, he knew he needed to get back to the ship and warn everyone else about the new danger on the Island. The cook darted over to Chopper and Luffy, grabbed their collars (or the scruff of his neck in Choppers case) and ran in the direction of the beach.

Luffy paced the deck of the Thousand Sunny nervously. He wanted to go back in the forest to help Zoro, but he knew that the swordsman would get angry if Luffy thought he was weak. He was so agitated that he almost hit Chopper when the little reindeer ran on deck.
"Everyone set sail now! We have to do this quickly!". The Crew sat in a shocked silence. Chopper ran about franticly, briefly pausing to turn into heavy point to haul up the anchor. The realisation that Zoro would be left behind shocked Luffy out of his stupor and he raced across the deck to stop the ship's doctor from setting the ship adrift. This would consequently leave behind Luffy's precious first mate.

A dark shape tossed away the ripped carcass of the last Dog-wolf. It paused to sniff the air, and set off in the swaggering walk of an experienced predator, towards the sunset-lit beach. Its eyes calm and calculating, It knew it wouldn't take long to kill the small gathering of humans in the wooden structure. Zoro's mouth began to water, As well as the blood he would be able to spill in that fight, hewould be there.

Luffy had fought tooth, nail and rubber limbs against Choppers decision to set sail until someone (probably Sanji) had hit him over that back of the head with the blunt end of the boat-hook. When he finally regained consciousness he was seated in the kitchen with his crew settled around him. Minus Zoro.
Nami saw Luffy open his mouth in protest and cut him off, "Luffy, Chopper has got to explain something to you, and you won't like it". Luffy, clearly unhappy about their situation, looked to Chopper for help. The Doctor quickly launched himself into a monologue about Zoro's current situation.

According to Chopper, the bush that Luffy had sent Zoro into had been a member of a group of poisonous plants that attack the nerve signals going to the brain. This gives the victim a severely altered personality, incredible strength ( due to pain being blocked), a desire to surpass people they respect and a desire to mate with the surpassed.
the only cure to this poison was a natural hormone released when you mate with the people you have surpassed.
For the second time that day Luffy felt shock run completely through his system. He could tell by the way his crew was looking at him, he was the one Zoro respected most, which meant he would be Zoro's target.
There was still one question left unanswered, "what will he do to you guys?", Luffy's question hung low in the room like fog. Nami looked up at him with fear in her eyes, "He'll Kill us".
Da da duh! Sorry for leaving it in such a mean place, I'm too tired to continue. If I get some nice reviews I will continue, but if nobody reads this then I don't see any point in continuing. Review people! Review! I don't care if it's anonymous, but review! xxx
