Thursday Night 21st May:

That went better than I could ever wish for, hope for, imagine in my wildest dreams. Luke and Flora came home from school two whole hours early, seriously. I was worried when they entered the house, until I saw the massive smiles that were on their faces. Both of them ran up to me and gave me each big hugs and I felt like I really belonged here.

Luke and Flora quickly filled me in with the details of what had happened. They told me that the principal had already hired a jumping castle for the fair, out of his own money. Not the schools money but his own. I was flabbergasted. As were they!

The rock climbing wall, they said, might be there on the day. They told me that the principal said he would think about organising it and to tell you the truth at that point I didn't care. Everything was going so brilliantly, too good for me to even worry anymore.

Flora explained to me that the volunteers were out delivering pamphlets and putting up posters about the fair to advertise it and I thanked her for reminding me. All we had to do now was to wait for everyone to arrive for the meeting.

At three thirty Flora opened the door and children piled into the house, and they ran towards the living room where Luke and I sat. One girl that I remembered as Micky ran straight up to me with two other girls, also our age, by her sides.

"CLIVE!" She exclaimed throwing her hands in the air happily.

"Hello, thanks for coming again." I mumbled smiling up at her from my spot on the couch.

"Yes hello, greetings, hi. This is my friend Miku!" Micky grinned while pushing forward a girl with auburn hair pulled into pigtails, a blue hoodie and jeans.

"Hello Clive." Miku smiled and I grinned at her warm smile.

"Hello" I smiled back.

"And this is Riku." Micky said before pushing forward a girl in black jeans and a red t-shirt with the words Music makes the world go round embroidered on it.

"Hi" Riku waved to me.

"Hello" I replied.

"They want to help too! Riku's good with music and things like that while Miku is good at art and just being awesome." Micky said way to fast so that all I caught was a few inaudible words. I just nodded in agreement. It was only after that I understood what she had actually said.

"It's very nice to meet you both." I told them meaning every word.

"Very nice to meet you as well" Luke piped up from next to me. He then proceeded to spring forward and hug the two new volunteers. Flora smiled and waved at them from next to me on the couch.

Micky grabbed Miku and Riku and pulled the over to where a few other people that I recognised sat. They were Max, Isabella and Kite. I'm glad Max could make it as last time he told us that he had snuck out to be here. I feel very lucky that someone would do that for me, well not directly for me but, yeah…

I looked around and everyone seemed to be smiling eagerly at me. I decided that I should say something.

"Well thank you all for coming, I really appreciate it. I'm hoping that everyone remembers what they are doing, what I have heard from Luke and Flora is that you have everything planned already. I'm not very good at speeches and stuff so yeah… Let's face tomorrow and just have fun, I guess!" I announced and a large goofy grin spread across my face.

"Yeah go Clive!" Miku shouted from over near Micky which made me grin even more.

"Let's do this!" Riku added and I laughed.

"Yeah go team!" I exclaimed and stood up to take a bow and made everyone double over in laughter. When I stood up again the goofy grin was still there. I knew that tomorrow was going to be the best day of my life.

Thursday before bed 21st May:

I am extremely nervous for tomorrow. Riku told me she would bring sound equipment and set it up for me in the middle of the fair and I am very grateful. Miku said she would be all over the place helping out, even handing out balloons to small children which I though was really sweet and a marvellous idea.

I should probably be going to sleep now though. I can't believe that the fair is tomorrow and that I will be performing too!

Friday Morning 22nd May:

I have the list of songs I am playing and Flora, Luke and I are just about to be dropped off at the school by the professor. I will write in you after the fair. I am so excited; the butterflies inside of me are raging.

Well, we are leaving now and I've never been more ready to leave the house and face the citizens of London, guitar in hand.
