Day after day, I raise my head to the skies
Day after day, the clouds pass me by
Night after night, I lift my head to the stars,
Night after night, the planets who give their undivided attention, Jupiter, Mars.
My folded wings whom yearn to fly
But Celestia, never have she answered my prayer, she turn yet a blind eye
On a little filly's plight
And every day, I try to fight
with gravity, my little wings flapping so quickly
Biting the fresh air and failing me again as I tumble down with a sickly
Thud! Oh, as the mud and dirt fills my face and heart I wonder if it's worth it, the pain
For I would pay more than a million bits to buy what I hope to gain
To join my hero, that's all I want, even above my cutie mark
And some ponies find my wants unwise, some even, at this silly thought, laugh and bark
For what would a mere filly be doing with Rainbow Danger Dash?
But trust me, once I can lift my body into those skies, in a flash
I'll be at her side, touching the skies
I am Scootaloo, these are my dreams. Alas! Will my wings ever rise?
AN: Second pony poem! It was inspired by a fanfic I recently read, "A Deep Orange Sky". And of course, by Bearie. My pony poems are almost always inspired by Bearie. Have I beat you at the poetry game yet, hon?
