Okay so first off I want to thank my friend for giving me this fanfic idea. The characters are not real people, but they are based off of real life people. Rosie is supposed to be me and Maiara and Clementine (Cece) are my two best friends. Josh Hutcherson is my love interest whose name isn't fake.

Chapter 1: The Airport

"Ready to go Rosie?" My best friend Maiara called up to my room as I was finishing packing.

"Yeah! I'll be down in a minute." I called

You see Maiara and Cece were driving me to the airport. I was going to Los Angeles to go to college at AMDA and become an actress.

Cece and Maiara were already in the car as I was coming down the steps. They are the two best friends anyone could ask for. Cece was on the shorter side, nice figure and dirty blonde hair. Maiara on the other hand was taller, brown curly hair, and a nice figure too. I was tall too, and I was the right size not model material but pretty. I also had medium length brown hair.

"Well, here we are. Pittsburgh International Airport." Cece declared as we pulled in the front of the airport. Maiara was going to park the car and Cece would help me unload the luggage. By the way did I mention Cece and Maiara were coming with mw for the week to help me get settled in? Well you know now.

"This is taking forever! We're gonna miss our flight if this security line doesn't move." said Maiara. Maiara likes to complain sometimes…all the time.

"Oh chill Maiara we'll be fine." Cece spoke up. Cece is the quiet one, but she can be feisty.

"Hey look here's our gate." I yelled out to the girls who were well behind me gawking at the fashion and celebrity magazines. Maiara was infatuated with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Once we arrived at the gate it wasn't long after we got a snack that the plane began boarding. Cece's family somehow got us hooked up with a first class discount. It was awesome! Cece was all excited because she just had to sit on the end in case she saw someone famous, which was okay since I liked the window. Maiara was just gonna have to like the middle no matter what.

Chapter 2: LA

"WE'RE HERE!" I shouted as I woke up Maiara and Cece from their little catnap (so much for star hunting Cece) I know, I know, it sounds silly but even though I had been to Los Angeles a few times before it still such a surreal place where dreams come true.

We got a taxi and arrived at my new apartment. I swear my bathroom at home was bigger than the apartment, but I loved it anyway. Plus I didn't have a roommate. I mean how do I have time to hold down a job, start school in a few months, and make a new friend.

"Wow! Hey will there be a place for me to sleep when I come creep and visit you?" Cece asked me.

"Yeah, the floor or kitchen table" I sarcastically stated. Although I think my couch was a pullout.

"Oh my god you brought this?" Maiara said as she pulled my Josh Hutcherson cardboard cutout out of the bottom of my suitcase.

"Yeah of course I brought it!" I stated back to her. You see I have been in love with Josh ever since I could watch TV. I was around 5 or 6 when I first saw him.

Once I unpacked most of the big stuff it was out on the town we went! We went shopping, out to eat, and then shopping again. Now I know what you are thinking. 'What's a girl who just moved to Los Angeles going on a shopping spree for?' Well I had several funds saved up for various reasons. So no worries.

When we were walking back to my apartment the craziest thing happened. I saw this flyer for an audition near my apartment. I had nothing to lose so I decided I wanted to go for it. The audition was for a new movie about a young man who is wanted by the C.I.A for a crime his late twin brother committed, while in hiding and on the run he is helped by a fellow spy whom he ends up falling for. That's just a general summary.

Chapter 3 :The Audition

The audition was two days away and I had a small scene to prepare, I mean I was only going out for the part of an extra. Cece decided she wanted to come with me, while Maiara went sight seeing with her camera and binoculars.

You know I was surprised, there weren't a lot of people at the audition. I was first to audition and I wasn't as nervous as I thought. I went in, talked with the director and then I gave him my monologue. He really liked it so he had me read lines with one of the other ladies there. They said great job and that they would be in touch as soon as possible.

Three days later I got a phone call. Maiara and Cece were still there so obviously there were glued to my ear to try to hear who I was talking to. As soon as I got off the phone they kept asking me

"Who was it? Was it them?" Cece pestered

"Did you get the part? Did they love you?" Maiara also pestered

"They want me to read for the lead girl tomorrow!"

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" We all screamed as we did the ever so famous 'happy yay' dance.

"They said that the guy who is playing the lead role of Thane is coming in to read lines with me, but they didn't say who it was."

"OOOOOHHH I hope it's Leonardo." squealed Maiara

"Psssh no. If anyone it had better be Darren Criss." Cece shot back

"So what is your character's name?" Maiara asked me

"Uhhhh it says here her name is Belle." I answered her back

"Pretty." said Cece

Two days later

"Okay well we better get going you guys, if you wanna come?" I told the girls

"Of course I wanna come!" Maiara yelled

"You know it isn't everyday your best friend has a freaking movie audition." Cece said in a congratulatory tone.

I arrived at the audition in plenty of time. Cece and Maiara and I were in the waiting room until a lady called me back and said I had to go into hair and makeup. It was a screen test audition and I was the only one auditioning.

Hair and makeup was a lot of fun. My make up was insanely gorgeous and my hair was in perfect waves that I would kill to be able to style myself. I am kind of blow dryer challenged. Don't judge.

When I walked out of the trailer I was greeted by the most phenomenal set I have ever seen in my life. Since it was set in Argentina and this was only a screen test they had the most surreal fake buildings and I felt like I was really there in Buenos Aires. The part I had been waiting for finally happened. My costar arrived (well my almost costar. I had to get the part first) I mean you can probably guess who it was since I told you the list of characters before, but just imagine a boy walking in wearing a deep V-neck, the coolest shorts you have ever seen with the craziest summer pattern on them, a baseball cap, and leathery flip flops. He looked up at me and all I saw was this half smile that turned into a full grin. I nearly melted when my chocolaty brown eyes met his capturing hazel ones. He walked right up to me and introduced himself.

"Hi! I'm Josh. You must be Rosie, I am very excited to be doing this screen test with you. The director has given you so much praise, and I can't wait to see how awesome you are."

Poor guy must've been scared shitless. I couldn't blink and my mouth wouldn't close.

"You okay?" Josh asked me unsure of my answer.

"Yeah sorry I am okay. I am just a huge fan of your work. All of it." I said in awe

"My work or my looks?" He said jokingly

"Very funny. Your looks are just a bonus to your acting." I said matter of factly.

We had just finished in hair and makeup when the director said

"Okay everyone get in place."

The director called Josh and I over and said that even though it was an audition screen test for me, to not be nervous and do the best performance I could give. We were given a moment to look over the intimate scene and refresh our memory. They picked the intimate scene to test my onscreen chemistry with Josh which made me more nervous than I already was.

"Alright everyone ready? Annnddd ACTION!"

"Listen Belle, I can't risk you getting hurt or killed for something I am not even responsible for."

"I don't care what you think right now Thane. I love you and I am going to help you in anyway that I can."

"I didn't even commit this crime and they're after me thinking I'm my twin brother Blaine. If you come your going to be slaughtered. I mean that metaphorically and literally."

In that moment the script said *Belle passionately kisses Thane for a long extended period of time* Just as I was about to kiss him slowly, I grabbed that boy by the collar and gave him the best kiss of his life. I heard a few 'oohs' and 'awes' from some of the crew members. I was still kissing him when the director called cut and the producer had to personally come over and tap on our shoulders to get our attention, and break our lips apart. I heard the director say

"Call the other auditions off! We have our Belle."

I was so excited I had no control of myself. Josh and the director were standing next to each other and they were the first two people I saw. I nearly jumped into their arms and squealed. Once I came back to earth I was congratulated by Josh and the director said he was happy to work with me. Before I knew it the producer had brought back Cece and Maiara. Little did I know they watched the whole screen test on a big TV in the waiting room.

"Oh my gosh I can't believe that Josh Hutcherson was your first kiss!" screamed Cece

"Whoa whoa! Really?" Josh asked as he walked over to us.

"Yeah. Ha-ha. Congrats!" I said jokingly to Josh

Chapter 4: Moving

"Okay everyone we'll start filming in five short weeks in Los Angeles and we might go to Argentina. No promises" the director told everyone

I had to tell the college I wasn't going to be going there in the fall. They said my enrollment was still available since I was acting and that's what I was majoring in. I

I was so stoked that in the fall Maiara was going to college in California. So I would see her when I could. Cece on the other hand was 2 years younger than us, but she said she'd spend her summer vacations with me in my apartment. Like I said before Cece's family was totally rich and so they could get her tickets to LA dirt cheap. Once we got there, in my new apartment I mean, there was a spectacular bouquet of flowers with a note that read 'Hey welcome to LA! Maybe I can take you around sometime. -JH'

"Oooooh someone's got a boyfriend" Maiara said in a sing song voice as she waved the note in the air

"Shut up Josh is just a friend…whom I connected with very much…in a nice way ha-ha." I said as I grabbed the note from her hands. I was half tempted to smell it because that boy smells so good.

No sooner did I read that note there was a knock at my door. It was Josh.

"How bout that day out? I don't want to waste any time."

"Alright" I said "But what about them?" pointing to Maiara and Cece.

"They can come too!" he said aloud "But I am taking you on another 'private' tour. Just so you know." he said in a softer tone so the girls couldn't hear.

"Hold up a second!" Cece called out in a harsh tone "Does this mean I get to be a third wheel?"

"Yes. Yes you do Cece. I bet it's a dream come true." I told her

"ALRIGHT! Bout time" I have never seen Cece happier. You really have to know Cece to understand her.

"Oh this third wheel stuff reminds me of high school" Maiara said in a tone only I would understand. Josh and Cece looked at us like we were crazy.

"Oh no there will be no third or fourth wheel stuff here" Josh said reassuringly. Cece looked sort of disappointed.

"Oh don't worry Cece your time will come" I consoled her

"What do you mean Josh?" Maiara asked

"Well I didn't forget about you guys so I brought a few friends. Maiara, for you I brought my buddy Avan."

"Avan Jogia? No way I am loving this town already!"

"Sorry Cece I know you like Darren Criss, but I don't know him so I brought my brother, Connor."

"OH well hey there Connor!" Cece said approvingly

"You guys all ready to go?" Josh asked us

We were all starving so we went out to lunch. Maiara kept on giving me the 'eyebrow' during lunch because she said afterwards Josh was being a flirt.

We arrived back at my apartment after 8 long hours. It was some of the most fun we have ever had. The guys didn't stay long they all had to get up early the next morning. The girls and I decided to spend the night just like any normal teens would. Eating junk food and talking about boys. Except for the fact that we're not normal teens. Anyway Cece and Maiara were hooked on the fact that Josh was totally infatuated with me. So it was a pretty normal old fashioned sleepover.

Chapter 5: Shooting

The two weeks had passed and Maiara had to go home and sort a few things out before she came back here for college and Cece decided to stay a few more days. I can't believe that in just a week I was going to start shooting. I promised Cece and Maiara I would keep in touch.

Today was the first day of shooting and Josh and I had called and texted each other quite a few times, but it wasn't the same. Seeing him in person for the first time that our schedules were the same made me feel happy and safe. I really enjoyed being around Josh and I think he felt the same way… no matter how many times I denied it to Maiara.

For being a pretty involved movie we only were permitted two months to shoot it. I was okay with it, I guess. I knew my character and lines like the back of my hand. Shooting the movie was the best two months I have ever spent. The cast and I became so close and yeah we had to do the kissing scene more than once. I think Josh and I were both happy about that.

I know I haven't given that much detail but I don't wanna dwell on the shooting. I want to focus on the relationship of Josh and Rosie.

Chapter 6: The Premiere

"I just can't believe it" I said to Maiara and Cece on our three way video chat. "I already finished filming my first movie and the premiere is coming up soon."

"I can't wait to see it! Maiara and I are definitely going to the midnight premiere."

"No you guys are coming to LA to see it. I have 2 tickets and 2 airline tickets I can give to anyone."

"No way! Shut up!" Maiara screamed into the computer screen

"What will we wear? Who will we meet?" shouted Cece

"Okay guys chill. I mailed you each a ticket yesterday. You should get them soon. If you want you guys can come early and we can go LA dress shopping"

"Yes I want to!" screeched Maiara.

Today the girls were coming in and we were going shopping. We hit all the hot spots in LA. Cece found a fabulous gold, sleek Oscar De La Renta, and Maiara bought a dark purple Alexander McQueen that was knee length and skin tight. I on the other hand was given specific orders by Josh to match his tie and shirt, I found a silver gray Vera Wang that came a little above my ankles and was spaghetti strapped and came straight across my chest. I hate wearing revealing clothes.

The premiere was a few days away, and no offense to the girls but I was spending a lot of time with Josh. We were hanging out in a park nearby my apartment and he was trying to ask me something all day. Close to the end of the day when we were walking back he finally asked me. He stopped me by this bench, sat me down and said

"I was wondering if you would be my official date for the premiere here in LA? I really enjoy being with you and I want to go to the next level with you. Will you be not only my date, but will you be my girl too?"

"Your girl?" I asked him in shock "I would want nothing more."

"We don't have to make the relationship public yet if you don't want to."

"No, no" I told him. "Whenever you're ready"

"Well how's this, we can bring it up at the premiere if we are asked about it?"

"Sounds good" I told him with a smile.

I decided to treat the girls to get their hair, makeup and nails done. I had loose waves with a waterfall braid on the left side of my head. Maiara had a half up half done tight curly look. Cece was totally rocking the ballerina bun.

We arrived at the premiere 2 hours before we were seated so I could introduce Cece and Maiara to a few famous people I knew they would want to meet, and so that Josh and I could greet our fans. Josh and I were stopped for a few interviews. We decided that in one of the interviews we would invite Cece and Maiara to join us. I think some of the reporters were getting suspicious. I mean Josh did have his arm on my waist the entire night and we were inseparable. Finally our last interview went like this

"So Josh are you and this lucky lady an item or not?"

Instead of answering them like any normal person would Josh put one hand on my waist and the other he used to cup my face, he brought me in for a kiss. The reporters had no idea what to do or say.

"Answer your question?" Josh replied back with a grin on his face

I had never felt more alive than in that moment.

Chapter 7: Normal…ish

After the premiere everything sort of went back to normal. It was the last week of July. Maiara and Cece were back in PA and I was alone. Well not completely. I still had Josh. I hung out with Josh pretty much every day. We maybe had one or two or A LOT of sleepovers… nothing risqué for all you dirty minders out there. We decided to take the next month, month and a half off and really act like a normal couple, except for the fact that every time we left home we were being mauled by fans. We'll just forget that part. Since we had some time off Josh decided it was time I met his parents. So we bought our tickets and we were on our way to Kentucky.

"Are you nervous?" Josh asked me. He could tell since my legs were shaking horrendously.

"Of course I am! I have never done anything like this before." I replied to him

"There's nothing to worry about." He said reaching for my hand. "My parents…and brother are going to love you."

We had just received our luggage and we were headed to Josh's car. The drive to his parent's house was short and I think it went faster because I was shaken with fear. For some reason I gave Josh a look of confusion when he just opened the front door, then I remembered it was his house.

"Hey guys!" Josh called from the entryway.

"Buddy!" His brother Connor called back. "I have missed you." He said before giving Josh a hug

"Connor this is my girlfriend Rosie."

I was about to put my hand out for Connor to shake it when he reached his arms around me and hugged me.

"It's very nice to meet you. No. More like an honor for how much Josh has told us about you."

Josh playfully hit Connor in the stomach as I said laughing,

"Thank you. All good things I hope?"

"Of course." Connor replied "Come on mom and dad are in the kitchen."

"Oh HI! You must Rosie. I am Mrs. Hutcherson. Call me Michelle. This is Mr. Hutcherson. Call him…"

"Chris. You can call me Chris. Honey give the poor girl room to breathe." Chris told Michelle.

"It's so nice to meet you both. Josh practically praises you guys." I told them as I hugged them both, and then they hugged Josh.

"So dad what's for dinner?" Connor asked

"Well I was thinking we'd just relax, have burgers on the grill. You kids can go for a swim while we get dinner ready."

"Ooooh I'll go change!" Connor yelled. "You guys coming?"

"Yeah we'll follow you." Josh replied

Once we were all changed in our bathing suits we headed to the backyard. Josh's parents were inside gathering stuff for dinner and I was applying sunscreen with the boys. Josh asked me to apply sunscreen to his back. Man did he have a chiseled body. He told me to turn around as he squeezed the last drop of sunscreen out of the bottle. Once all the sunscreen was rubbed in he started massaging my back and shoulders.

"Are you guys going to do that all day?" Connor yelled to us

"Why are we bothering you?" Josh yelled back as he placed a kiss on my shoulder making Connor shake his head at us.

"I'm surprised." Connor called to me from the deck.

"Why is that?" I asked

"You don't have a towel laying out, a magazine, or your sunglasses on your eyes."

"Oh you thought I'd watch and tan while you and Josh had all the fun. Yeah right!"

Connor jumped in the pool and just as I was about to Josh came up behind me and picked me up.

"Are you ready to go in?" he asked me

"Well I was until I was picked up by a maniac."

"Come on. Let's jump. I won't let you drown."

"Okay. What are you waiting for?"

I was still wrapped in Josh's arms when he jumped in. Once we hit the water he let me go so we could swim to the top. The afternoon was filled with laughs, splashes, and the smell of some amazing burgers. After we were all pruny the three of us got out of the pool and dried off enough to go eat. The dinner conversation was mostly Josh's parents and him catching up and they asked me questions to get to know me. Such as 'How many siblings do you have?' None. 'Are you originally from Pittsburgh?' Yes. You know the usual. Before we knew it 1:00 turned into 7:30. We cleaned up from dinner and all of us took showers. It was about 10:00 by the time we all met back in the kitchen, and we decided we'd watch a movie. I was not one of those girly girls that had to watch some sort of chick flick. They seriously sometimes bothered me. All of us agreed kids agreed on Grown Ups and Josh's parents didn't care since they went to bed about ¼ of the way through the movie.

Connor fell asleep on the floor about 20 minutes before the movie ended. Josh and I decided to leave Connor there and we weren't tired at all so we went into the kitchen and had some midnight coffee and cookies. (midnight coffee is no different than original coffee, we just drank it at midnight) Hours passed before we heard his mom come downstairs and turn on the kitchen light.

"Have you kids been up all night?" His mom asked softly

"Oh yeah I guess so." Josh replied groggily and rubbing his eyes.

"Well you kids better go get some sleep. You've got bags under your eyes."

Josh and I headed up to his room and fell asleep almost instantly. 6 hours later we woke up and it was noon.

"Afternoon beautiful." Josh complimented me as I turned over and found him looking at me with a smile.

"Afternoon." I replied before he kissed me.

The kiss deepened and pretty soon Josh began unbuttoning my pajama shirt I borrowed from him. We were interrupted by a loud thud and an 'I'M OKAY' coming from Connor on the staircase.

"Josh we can't do this here. Your brother is right outside and your mom is downstairs."

"You're right. I just got carried away." He replied smiling then kissed my cheek. "Come on I wanna take you for a drive."

"Where?"

"Someplace special. Wear something nice."

Josh had gotten out of the shower and I was finishing getting ready.

"What do you think? Is this okay?" I asked him twirling in a spaghetti strap knee length coral blue dress.

"Absolutely stunning." He gawked in awe at me. "And me?" He asked joking because he was wearing boxers and an undershirt.

"Never better." I replied laughing.

"You guys ready?" Connor called from down the hall

"We'll be there in a few minutes." Josh said.

"We're here!" Chris said from the driver's seat.

"Can I take my blindfold off now?" I asked.

"NO! Not yet. Wait until I tell you." Josh told me.

"Okay I am going to remove the blindfold." Josh whispered to me.

Once I regained my eyesight I saw the most amazing thing before my eyes. Josh and his family had surprised me with a dinner/dance cruise for my birthday. It was decorated with streamers, balloons, and twinkling lights from the ceiling.

"I know your birthday isn't for another week, but Josh insisted we do this now. Connor isn't good at keeping secrets." Michelle told me

"Happy Birthday Rosie!" Josh said. "Do you like it?"

"This is spectacular and more than I could ever ask for. Thank you. All of you." I told his family. "I love you so much." I told Josh as I wrapped my arms around him and squeezed him tighter than ever.

"I love you too, but your going to have to wait until July 29th to get your other present from me."
