Set after "The Target", Claire Saunders/Whiskey, looks after Echo/Caroline to make sure she's alright

Pairing: Claire/Echo

Set: After Echo's memories are wiped and she's sent to Claire to fix her wounds

Echo sat up in the chair. Topher greeted her, "Hello Echo" Echo looked up at him and blinked. "Did I fall asleep?"

"For a little while"

"Shall I go now?"

"If you like, but go see Dr. Saunders about your wounds"

Echo nodded and walked away. She walked down the hall, looking around her. "Echo? What are you doing over here?"

Echo turned to Claire. "I'm hurt" Claire gently took her hand, "Then come with me and I'll fix it"

Echo nodded and followed Claire. They got to the lab and Claire opened the door, "Take a seat" Echo walked past her and sat on the little examination table in the middle of the room. Claire pulled up a chair.

"Do they hurt?" Echo shook her head. "No" Claire gently stroked Echo's arm, looking for a tender spot. Echo winced. Claire smiled. "Don't worry, you'll be fine" She picked up a bandage.

Echo reached out and grabbed her hand. "Do yours hurt?"

Claire frowned, "Sometimes" Echo smiled and leaned forward, kissing the scar on her forehead. Claire gasped.

"There, all better" Claire smiled. "Thank you"

Claire fixed Echo's wound and sent her off. Boyd entered, "How is she?"

"Fine" Boyd looked at her, "I saw that kiss" Claire shrugged. "She was being nice"

Claire walked outside, watching Echo. Echo looked over at her and smiled, waving. Claire waved back. Echo started to walk towards her. "Dr. Saunders, will you walk with me?"

"Sure Echo" Echo took Claire's hand and interlocked fingers. Claire looked down, surprised. Echo leaned into her. "I really like you Dr. Saunders" Claire smiled, "I like you too Echo" Echo started walking, Claire next to her. "Where are we going?"

Echo looked at her "To my bed" Claire chuckled "Alright" Echo took Claire to her bed and pulled her down with her, snuggling up to her.

"Goodnight Dr. Saunders"

"Goodnight Echo" Echo fell asleep. Claire wrapped her arms around Echo and pulled her close. She closed her eyes and fell asleep a smile on her face.
