Together Again

So. Many. LINES.

I stared sadly at the sea, the waves brushing against my fur and getting me wet. I didn't care, I didn't care about anything anymore, she was gone... The only thing that I cared for... As a friend...

Gone...

Why? Why did you go? I could of helped you... I kept saying that to myself ever since she left like a leaf in the wind, carried away. They've told me to let it go, to sleep it off, some have thrown me parties to try to cheer me up.

Nothing could take away the pain I feel inside, nothing... I'm just a shell of my old self, the peppy Pikachu they all knew, gone, just like her. I wish I could hold her, one last time... That kind Eevee or Human or whatever she was, she was still my friend... I missed her so much. When she left, it was like a part of me was ripped off as easy as tearing paper.

I still remember the days we spent together, the adventures, the battles, everything. Even her... passing.

Tears dripped from my eyes, just a few, but after a while, my eyes were like waterfalls. My mind raced, the memories flashing in my mind like movie scenes:

"Ah! Someone collasped on the beach!" I ran over, shaking the pokemon's shoulders, "Hey! Are you ok?" The pokemon stirred and got up, her brown fur ruffling in the wind. She looked at me as I said, "You're ok! I'm Jack, who are you?"

Tears streaked down my face as I fell to the ground...

I'm sorry...

"Oh, so your name is Jasper?"

I'm so sorry...

"Yeah, Jasper, we did it! We won! He was caught! Good work, partner!"

Waves lapped at my already soaked yellow fur, my eyes as red as my cheeks and my tail drooping behind me.

Oh, Arces, I'm so sorry Jasper...

"Jasper? Is there something wrong?"

No... Not this scene...

"Jack... I'm sorry... I have to go."

"Go? You can't go!" I hugged her glowing body, tears streaking down my face.

I ignored the footsteps behind me as the memory kept running.

Jasper gave me a hug back and stared into my eyes, hers forming tears as she said, "What ever happens, don't ever forget me... Don't ever forget all the things we did together, the battles, anything. Please... Keep my memory alive, goodbye..." Then, in a flash of golden light, she was gone...

"Jack?" I turned, my eyes were blurry but I still could make out the figure. My heart sunk again; it was Bidoof. "Hey, Jack, you ok?" He asked with concern, but all I could do was whisper, "Oh, Bidoof..."

I rushed over, tackling him with a hug as I screamed, "OH BIDOOF! WHY? WHY DID SHE GO?" He hushed me, occasionaly murmering, "It's ok, it's ok..."

After the third time, he stopped and gasped, tapping my shoulder and pointing behind me. I turned and gasped at the person behind me; I has been so long, I almost didn't reconize the friendly eevee I once new. Her dark brown fur, her light yellow mane and tail tip, the only thing that made me reconize her was her saphire eyes.

"J-Jasper..?" I stammered, she ran twords me and gave me a big hug. I never wanted to leave her side, her warmth filled my body and her voice was still full of kindness as she said, "I missed you Jack..."

It's been three years since that day, we graduated and now live in my old hideout on Sharpedo Bluff, I will forever spend my days with her. I'm happy she's with me... We will always be together forever...
