The man with the blue box
Chapter 1
Doctor POV
"Oh, it's the warning lights. I'm getting rid of those they never stop,"
I said mostly to myself as Amy and Rory whispered quietly to each other. If it was anything serious they would tell me right?
"So Doctor," Amy inquired. "Who's the girl," she said looking pointedly towards the girl I found lying down on the forest floor in Forks.
"I don't know- oh I do love not know things it means that something could anything-"
"DOCTOR!" Amy called snapping me back into reality
Rat tat a tat tat
"What was that?" Amy asked
"The door. It knocked." I answered
"Right. We are in deep space." Rory queried
"Very, very deep … And somebody's knocking." I opened the door and came face to face with a small glowing box.
"Oh, come here. Come here, you scrumptious little beauty. " I said to the box. Suddenly the box flew into the TARDIS. It was so fast that I didn't even see it when it smacked my square in the chest.
"A box?" Rory asked in confusion.
"Doctor, what is it?" Amy asked also confused
"I've got mail," I announced with the biggest smile on my face while admiring the little box.
Amy POV
"Time Lord emergency messaging system, in an emergency, we'd wrap up thoughts in psychic containers and send them through time and space," the Doctor explained. "Anyway, there's a living Time Lord still out there, and it's one of the good ones." The Doctor continued gleefully meanwhile I was still confused.
"You said there weren't any other Time Lords left." Rory stated.
"There are no Time Lords left anywhere in the universe. But the universe isn't where we're going. See that snake? " The Doctor asked as he showed the weird looking snake on the small box.
"The mark of the Corsair. Fantastic bloke. He had that snake as a tattoo in every regeneration. Didn't feel like himself unless he had the tattoo. Or herself, a couple of times. Ooo, she was a bad girl-" The Doctor was interrupted by a bang coming from the TARDIS, sparks flying everywhere.
"Oh, what is happening?" Rory shouted over the rumbling.
"We're leaving the universe." The Doctor exclaimed trying to hold on to something.
"How can you leave the universe?" I shouted at the Doctor desperately trying to hold on.
"With enormous difficulty. Right now I'm burning up TARDIS rooms to give us some welly. Goodbye, swimming pool. Goodbye, scullery. Sayonara, squash court seven". With a final crash the TARDIS stopped. All was silent until a small voice spoke up.
"Excuse me," we all turn to the girl that was previously sleeping. "I don't mean to rude but where the hell am I!"
"Outside the universe, where we've never, ever been." The Doctor replied mysteriously. The lights in the TARDIS suddenly dimmed.
"Is that meant to be happening?" Rory asked scared.
"What's going on? Who are you people? Why am I here?" The girl who still remained nameless demanded.
"The power, it's draining. Everything's draining. But it can't. That's, that's impossible." The Doctor rambled. "It's as if the Matrix, the soul of the TARDIS, has just vanished. Where would it go?"
