Himeno Kazehito- You have such a great timing, seriously. The answer to her going back to her own time...it will be answered here. And as for who will end up with, somewhere in my response to people's review lies the answer. Or you can wait until I reveal it soon!

There's Kuroshitsuji version of Sherlock Holmes (Chapter 37 or 38)- which I really love! I thought, it would be nice for the author to base Irene Adler, who does't appear in Sherlock Holmes book until 1891, on Yuri after meeting her kekekeke! Watch the second season ONLY if you have time but I totally recommend it! It's soo good!
sleepy kirby- Yes, he realllly shouldn't hehe! Enjoy this chapter!
Paxloria- Knowing Yuri, I don't think she will want to abandon Alois. But, it's your thoughts on what you think of this chapter after you read them! Oh and no, I am afraid Ciel is not going to have to confront the Queen and Ash/Angela as a demon since I'm going to be following the manga plot as soon as the season II is over. Oh, and seriously the salt water does help!
blue polkadot- Haha! Thank you! Well, I mentioned here somewhere when he's going to get his memory back! *Wink wink!

My uncle- my mum's youngest brother (She has 5 and oldest of them all, my aunt that visited UK not few months ago is the second oldest) and his wife is coming to UK TODAY! The plane arrives at 22.55 so my dad and my brother will go and pick them up hehe! I don't know if I could since I have to wake up at 6AM tomorrow for school.
Enough of my blabbering! Enjoy this chapter! Tell me your thoughts~!
This chapter contains: Episode 7 of Kuroshitsuji II
"At noon, you have the regular Funtom company meeting. A dance lesson with Ms Hyatte at 2.00PM and a lesson in politics from Professor MacMillan at 6.00PM. That is your full schedule for today." Sebastian reported.
"I see." Ciel muttered mindlessly without looking up from the newspaper.
"Also," The demon delivered the letter in a silver plate and laid it out in front of Ciel, "There is a letter for you." The Earl looked at the letter over from the newspaper he was reading and immediately scrunched his face in contempt at the sight of the spider seal.
Using the paper knife to cut the wax seal, he pulled the white parchment from the envelope and proceed to read.
"Count Trancy apologies for his impoliteness at the ball the other day and requests my most honoured presence at a ball to be held at the Trancy Mansion." Ciel promptly ripped apart the letter into four pieces.
"Alois Trancy..." He spat out venomously. He did not know why, maybe it was because there are some hints that the Trancy was involved in the incident three years ago even if it's not certain, he had such strong dislike for the current head of the house.
Sebastian gave a greeting nod to the two police officers stationed in front gate as he went in and headed for the data room.
He took out the thin files with 'CLASSIFIED TOP SECRET' stamped in the brown record.
Many incidents that endangers Her Majesty, occur in England's underworld. He turned several more pages over, The Queen's watchdog- The Phantomhive household- covertly settles such matters. While the Queen's spider-The Trancy Household-covertly erases any evidence.
Ciel was jadedly looking at the country side field where the cattle was set free in total boredom, his mind often going back to the train incident.
Both household have earned the Queen's trust as 'Evil Noblemen'. But Alois Trancy wasn't satisfied by that. He wanted the Queen's favour all to himself. So he schemed against the Watchdog, spreading a rumour that he was possessed by a demon. But...the time line does not fit..would the late Head had anything to do against it? No, the late Head was known for indulged in sinful activities and often neglected his duties..
While Sebastian was asking the local for certain person's home, Ciel was in the carriage as his mind flashed back to what Sebastian had found out: "At that time, the late Phantomhive head was investigating a case of spontaneous in which the cause was unknown."
Alois spread word that the Phantomhives' themselves were behind the incidents and arbitrarily decide to eliminate them.
"He called his actions an exorcism."
Then he and his butler destroyed all the evidence..?
"In some cases, erasing the past; in others, rewriting it, as recorded it in that report." Sebastian's voice seemed to circle Ciel's head.
Ciel and Sebastian stood in front of their 'destination'. It was a few seconds before Ciel's eyes discerned the building half-hidden amongst the tangle of trunks.
It seemed to him a very strange location to choose for a house, or else an odd decision to leave the trees growing nearby, blocking all light and the view of the valley below.
He wondered whether it was inhabited; its walls were mossy and so many tiles had fallen off the roof that the rafters were visible in places.
Nettles grew all around it, their tips reaching the windows, which were tiny and thick with grime. The shack was small, dilapidated, and thick with filth, but was somewhat kept in check by the man chopping chunks of woods before them who looks better for worse, his ragged grey clothes was the exact colour of the dirty stone wall behind him…his hair was thick hair so matted with dirt it could have been any colour and lank and dull and he had a plain, pale, rather heavy face.
Several of his teeth were missing. His eyes were small and dark. It was rather pitiful the very man who had stamped his pride was living in absolute poverty instead of wealth after 'successful mission' accomplished.
"In this way, the Spider covered up his crime."
The man noticed the two standing just ahead, only blocked by the wood barricade as horror and realisation soon dawned on his face.
He now was knelt on the ground, head down as he secretly and silently hope for mercy.
".N-No, it was not Lord Alois' order...I do not know who the person was. I-I only did what they told me to do.." He then slapped his hand on the floor desperately in hope the Earl would try and see it in his views, "The person ordered us to burn down the Phantomhive residence and sell off the remaining child." He explained, he who was living in fear of that one day he would be haunted down one by one. And that day was today.
"Please..." Ciel stepped in front, realising what it's to come, he decide to hold onto even the thinnest line of hope, "Please, at least spare my life!"
He felt a cold metal painfully pressed against his forehead, "You soiled my pride. You will atone for your sin with your life." Ciel pulled the trigger and with a loud bang, the blood splattered to the wall.
Ciel coldly shrugged his now blood tainted cloak, wiping some droplets that managed onto his cheek with his gloved hands as he placed the revolver back.
"The dead don't desire revenge, but the happiness of the living. To dirty your small hands would bring joy to no on; there's no such revenge where you can accomplish without hurting your self. You want to be like the other kids. See a play... go out to town...chat about useless things...you want to do all of that but I know that you will… never find peace…if you don't get it....pitiful person."
"Young master, are you alright? Perhaps, you pushed yourself a little far today." He was brought out by the sounds of his butler's voice and realised he somehow staggered into his arms. He quickly slapped away those hands that supported his weight.
"Do not touch me so easily...-"
"Whoever it is...they will be the one doing the Danse Macabre."
"Dance of Death?" Sebastian echoed as he laid the cup of tea in front of him, "Well, since it seems The Trancy House seemed to have no link to the deaths, it would be rather unnecessary to accept their invitations."
"No." He dismissed the claim, "It would be still wise to go what he had in for me. The Trancy Household still irks me. Have you found any information on Yuri Park?" He had seen her for the first time at a place he pass by all the time, he did not know why but he kept noticing her.
Sebastian wondered if that was just an excuse to see Yuri. The young master seemed to have migraines very often, perhaps..his memories was returning. Just what is attachment? The demon wondered, it seemed scarier than love itself. It's hard to erase.
"..I am afraid, the Trancy House has classified her details."
"I see." He muttered, putting the cup down for a moment of thought.
"..Certainly.." Sebastian muttered with hesitation, "Then, let me modify your schedule. You will attend the regular meeting at noon as planned. I will move the lesson with Ms Hyatt and Professor MacMillion to sometime after tomorrow." Ciel calmly sipped his tea as he listened on, "Today, at four o'clock, you will attend the ball of Trancy House."
Clip clip
I stopped in front of my door when I heard the sounds inside my room, gulping, I slowly twisted the lever door handles and pushed the oak wood.
"Ah! Yuri, you're here." It was Alois.
My feet stepped onto something soft and looking down it looked like a stuffing from..my eyes looked to what Alois had in his hands, it was partial of the Funtom rabbit's ear.
Walking over to where he was seating, I found myself collapsing onto my bed as I took the doll's arm in my hand.
Alois jumped onto the bed, rolling around the comfortable mattress with a satisfied smile, "What's wrong?" He faked a worried tone, "Are you..sad? Angry?" He smiled, excited to see me break.
But I let out a big, relief sigh and fall back onto the bed, facing Alois. He blinked in surprise.
"..Thank you."
"..Why are you thanking me..? That teddy bear is something important to you!" He frowned, he deliberately cut up those toys in hope to see her at least cry.
"No matter how much I beat up that teddy bear he brought for me, I could never bring myself to throw that away. It's not like we loved for a hundred years, we barely lasted over hundred days..everytime, I look at this teddy bear, I always end up talking to myself. Words that I hid in my heart, words that I hid behind my tears, words that I have to say alone, listen to alone and forget alone."
He became quiet as we laid in foetal position staring in calming silent.
"Aren't you sad?" He suddenly asked, playing with few strands of my hair, refusing to look at me.
"You are still young so you wouldn't know much but separation are always like this – at first, it really really hurts. The sky falls down, everything falls down – you don't know what's going on. Sometimes you're so mad that you can't sleep; sometimes, you miss him so much that you can't sleep, as you live like that, you forget him. Separation is natural – we all know it but it's really not easy to accept it."
I petted his head, feeling the soft locks between my fingers, "The moment you turn back, you become strangers – a stranger with no relations. That is the cold relationship between a man and a woman."
He looked at me confused, I smiled, "See, you wouldn't really know. Love is when you feel like you will die but you quickly forget." I tried to think something I could easily explain to a child, "If you want to compare, it's like candy that's stuck in your throat. When you taste it, it's sweeter than anything but if you swallow it by mistake, it hurts as if your heart has been blocked. It's a start that's not the end –Let's just take a little break and make room for a new person. Because two minus one is not zero but one."
A bright smile appeared, "So, does that mean you will love someone else?"
I opened my mouth, "I still have Sebastian..." Is it possible to love two people at the same time? But if this is how love feels, then maybe I might have something for Sebastian. I let out a surprise yelp when Alois suddenly pulled me into tight embrace.
"I'm..." He muttered, I couldn't see his face but if I could, I would have seen the dangerous glance and a smirk approaching his lip, "So glad...Yuri."
I know this episode. After this day, is Alois going to die?
Hannah brushed through my hair gently as I held up the mirror in mid awkward moment, it was better than just looking everywhere while waiting for her to finish even though there was a large mirror lodged onto the vanity table.
Although, we had little interactions between us, we still had those silent platonic friendship.
"Alois really likes you." She broke the pregnant silent.
"Isn't that why you sent me here?" I replied, finally putting the mirror down to see her doing complicating knot in my hair.
She smiled, breaking her usual nervousness and shy façade, "Yes, I do have good eyes in seeing people. Today, is what you were brought here for, please save Alois." Her tone becoming more sadder, "He is all me and Luka have: the soul that resides in me."
"..Couldn't you have not eaten his soul?" I asked, fully knowing she was mourning while devouring his soul.
"Once the contract is made, it is made. Even we demons, who have made the contract have no strength or power to choose or stop the end of the bargain. If it was not for Luka..I would still be the apathetic, bored demoness wondering around the land leaving nothing but destructions. He had given me the reason to live. And in return, I promised myself and to Luka, I will give Alois a reason to live: you."
"Does that mean, I can never go back to my world?" I suddenly asked, feeling the heavy pain adding onto the sorrowful feeling I was experiencing.
"No, you can never go back unless you decide to become a demoness and wait until this time catches up with yours." She explained, "I would never do such things as to separate a child from its family and friends without a good reason to do so, not only to me but to you. You never did belonged in your world. It was your ordinariness that made you special amongst the faceless crowds. Where does your heart lies?" Hannah patted my head in maternally comforting manner, soothing the doom of the answer.
"My heart? It lies with me of course." I smiled jokingly, but why is it that even when I smile tears falls down my face?
She then bent down, her cheek almost rubbing against mine, while I looked at the beautifully finished work being ruined by my childishly crying face as her hands grasping my shoulder as she stared into my eyes through the mirror, "Your lips know the answer that they want, you are the only one who can switch over everything they are about to do. This is important, Yuri..I need you to..."
"!"
The Phantomhive carriage once again arrived in front of Trancy House, as Ciel stepped down the coach, he heard the familiar voice.
"So, you came, Ciel." Alois welcomed him with the open arms. Behind him was The Trancy Household stood as they welcomed their honour guest.
"Alois Trancy.." Ciel returned the gesture, "Miss Yuri." He bowed in greeting which I returned. Suddenly, Alois quickly stepped into my view.
"Welcome, and thank you for coming." Claude interjected, bowing before glaring up to Sebastian.
"Come. I prepared a special stage for today. Ah." He looked at me, "Please do not hold back nor worry about keeping up with the façade, Yuri here knows everything." With that, Alois pulled along my hand, interlocking our fingers and dangling our arms playfully. Ciel, somehow unconsciously frowned along the feeling of desiring to wretch away those hands.
Soon, he was led to the garden where a life sized statue chess boards was set up.
"This is..." Ciel scanned the game board in puzzlement and interest.
"An Ancient battleground." Sebastian explained, it is truly been a long time since he had seen this.
"Listen, Ciel. How about this?" Alois came up with a good idea, "Our butlers will fight in our place. The one who is able to dance until the end wins. The looser will have to obey any of the winner's orders. Would you be happy with such a ball?"
Sebastian bent down and whispered into Ciel's ears, "It seems they are planning to fight to death."
This only put a accepted smirk on Ciel's face, "Well, I'd say that is a ball that will suit us. Definitely better than dressing up in false costumes." A loud bell rang through the battlefield, signalling the start of duels.
Ciel ripped off his eye patch, revealing the contract seal hidden beneath, "This is an order, Sebastian; win and then bring Alois Trancy before me. I will finish him off myself." Sebastian knelt onto one knee, his eyes glowing red.
"Yes, my Lord."
"Master, what is your order?" Claude inquired detachedly.
"Ah, right, make Ciel Phantomhive mine," Alois ordered, his tongue snaking out to show the contract mark, "And give Sebastian Michaelis the finest pain." Cluade, mirroring Sebastian's action, "You can do it, can't you, Claude?"
"Yes, your Highness."
He then faced himself toward me, "After that, we can have our happy ending together, Yuri. It will be just you and me and Claude and Luka, all smiling. You can love me, Yuri; Ciel doesn't deserve it one bit." Ciel furrowed his brow in confusion at such accusation of fighting for my affection but somehow he didn't hate it, I looked at him shocked, this was not what I actually had in mind. He careless my cheek, "See a play... go out to town...chat about useless things." Ciel's eyes widened at the familiar quotes, his lip seemed to froze barricading him from even uttering a word.
"I have many different dolls ready for you, I do! We can play with them and we'll talk until we get sleepy...you wouldn't have to say those words to yourself, ever again." I would have been in deep shocked thoughts if it hadn't for one of the triplet demon had shed a whetted knife from its thresh hold with a sharp cutting sound of air.
Realising I was frozen in surprise and had blocked out everything, Hannah and the other servants each had offensive weapons in their hands, poised to attack Sebastian, who with an easy going smile took out a knife but with a slight jerk of his wrist revealed two other hidden knives.
"Come, Yuri." Alois guided me to the staircase leading to something like an elegant looking audience seating with three red sofa with a bird eye view of the chess board where Sebastian and other demons were getting ready to fight.
Ciel sat at the far end of the left corner while we sat on the right, leaving the middle sofa empty. How could I stop Ciel from stabbing Alois? Will he die? He would since this follows anime but wouldn't that be like some kind of paradox like in Doctor Who-who am I kidding, this isn't Doctor Who. Speaking of Doctor Who, I wonder what happened to Amy Pond?-Yuri, get a hold of your self! Since I'm like here, wouldn't there be chance to change the timeline or storyline?
I was taken out of my thoughts when I felt a hand squeezing mine, "..You look pale, Yuri." Alois told in worried voice, "This kind of event must frighten you so, do not worry, it will be over soon and you and I can go the way we were: playing as always."
"Ah..uhm.." Then, I realised something I was missing. Wasn't this episode also included-
"Well then." Claude cleared his throat, adjusting the spectacle on his nose bridge as he and other demons advance toward Sebastian until something blue caught our eyes.
"Fa-fa-fa-fa..fantastique!" A familiar face popped up that literally put me into more worse feelings, same things goes for Ciel while Alois seemed to enjoy the Viscount's appearance, his usual handsomeness seemed to diminished by the comical use of the blue lobster hat on.
"This place is just like the battlefield where mythological heroes once crossed swords!" He exclaimed fawning over the scene that laid out in front of him, twirling dramatically, "If this is tonight's stage, then I have never felt so honoured to be invited to a ball!"
"Sir, what brings you here today?" Claude asked to the man, quickly hiding the weapons.
"Oh! I am most honoured to have been invited to today's ball. I am Aleister Chamber, Viscount of Druitt."
"The costume ball took place last week." Claude deadpanned, "Today, we invited Earl Phantomhive for a private ball."
"What?!" A horrified look soon replaced his excited smile as he collapsed onto the floor, "What a faux pas, coming on the wrong day! I have even brought my lovely femme fatale with me!" He held up my 'portrait' for everyone to see. Weirdly enough, the size seemed to have became more miniature version of the original but nonetheless, big enough for everyone to see it clearly as day.
I tried to hid my face with my hands miserably. Someone just shoot him.
Claude, Hannah, the triplet, Ciel, Sebastian and Alois scanned the nude art work before all turning their eyes on me, knowing the 'blond femme fatale' was.
I forced a smile and a miserable failed attempted wave, trying to camouflage it as a wave.
"I will go home then." Not noticing the sudden change of mood from his show off of the painting as he picked up the portrait with draped shoulders, "But why didn't anyone tell me? Society is so cruel to those with a criminal record..."
Suddenly, the Viscount let out a awe admiration, looking over Claude's shoulder was Hannah, her head down. The moment of her confidence quickly concealed by her façade.
"As look as clear as the surface of water! The dark grey knife emerging from it makes her look like a Valhallan valkyrie! Or perhaps the dusky and mysterious elegance of her bandaged eye make her closer to a beautiful demon like my femme fatale?" There was a noticeable surprise from the triplet.
"I must say you have a good eye, Viscount. The woman in the portrait is a beauty worthy of demon." He slyly said, using the chance to note out and admire the portrait, eyeing toward me.
After another words of admiration to Hannah's mission, he literally ran up to the stair and sat down in the middle before fluffing the cushion as he laid down the portrait like a fragile child.
"So, Viscount!" Alois cheerfully started, "Where have you met 'your' femme fatale?" We were not really paying attention to the battle that was going on down there at all.
"Oh! Well, I met this beautiful Cockatiel at my ball and she was the most boldest and alluring woman I have ever met in my life."
"Why such a beautiful Cockatiel, a face worthy of a nymph."
Ciel's eyes widened, the same voice of Viscount echoed in his head like deja vu
Alois nodded, "I understand where you get it from." Looking at me, "I too wished I could have met this 'Cockatiel'."
"Oh, how I wish I could meet her again!" You are meeting 'her'! I thought sarcastically.
"Seems like she won't even shed a drop of blood if she is poked; a perfect beauty, a dream-like golden proportions. Her gentle hair, her marble-like skin is surreal. Is she a doll? Does she even breathe? She only puts on a mysterious smile~!" He dramatically reminisced, "Does she have a voice? I just cannot believe she's a person with a beating heart. She is just like a cold, beautiful Goddess. No matter how much I look, I can't figure out, her locked up heart in a sturdy safe, her ripe, red lips, her glassy eyes don't give me a hint!"
He then suddenly embraced it 'lovingly', "What is she thinking? Does she even cry sometimes? Does she have emotions? I just can't believe she's a person who is capable of love."
"She is..." Alois muttered, something I can only hear, "..More than capable." But unfortunately, I was distracted by the battle I was currently seeing, man this is like WWE Championship!
The battle has gotten to the point of climax: Sebastian threw a spear as it pierced through the triplet's forehead, pinning it to the scary looking statue above the chess pieces.
Dusting his ever clean white gloves, "Now you will get along even better."
"Oh, my!" The Viscount exclaimed in shock.
"Nice!" Alois complimented, it was obvious he was enjoying this.
Sebastian looked over his shoulder with triumph smirk to Claude until Hannah slide into his view as she thrust knives in her hands toward Sebastian who only carelessly blocked it with his hand and as a result, it ripped his butler's sleeves.
"I will have to mend this." He noted sadly.
"You don't have to." The confidence voice drawled as Hannah advanced toward Sebastian, "Since you will be full of holes." She swiftly took out two guns pulling the triggers as bullets dashed onto the aimed target. However, the bullet went passed the mending butler as he professionally sewed the clothes in seconds while avoiding the offence Hannah sent in his ways.
She picked up a machine gun as thousands of bullet shot out non stop with bright gun fire, "Goddess!" The Viscount shouted.
"I see." The crow demon commented as he danced while avoiding the bullets so easily, "Indeed, at this rate, I really might end up full of holes." He waltzed his way behind the white knight's statue.
"I will pay you back for every bullet you fire." He smirked with a painful promise, revealing sets of knives in his hands.
He sped out, bouncing into the air with the help of the statue as he with equal speed and force sent out thousands and thousands of knives each supposedly hitting areas around her but when he sent out the last knife, Hannah let out a gasp as she found herself pinned against the floor like the knife throwing circus act.
Revealing more sets of sharp object, he was about to throw until a large chess piece was sent to his ways almost crushing him. When the dust was cleared up for us humans to see what had happened, the knives was impaled onto the statue and seemingly it was Claude who had kicked it toward Sebastian as his leg was sharply pierced toward the direction.
"Stop there. It is tea time." Claude informed as Sebastian straightened himself, agreeing.
"Oh, is it that time already?"
Claude walked forward toward Sebastian, "I have to prepare a snack for my master. Let us suspend the dance for a while."
"Can I borrow your kitchen, then?" Sebastian inquired, he too had a master to feed after all.
"That's good, I'm sure you were hungry, right Yuri?" Alois smiled at me.
"Hm? Ah..hmm." I uneasily muttered, those words Hannah had said ringing in my ears.
"Claude can make us some delicious snacks. Pastries are your favourite, remember?"
I nodded hesitantly and forced a smile that did not reached my eyes.
Soon, few tables, cooking ingredients and kitchen cookware was brought out by Hannah and the triplet as the two butler proceed to cook, the remaining servant brought out a extravagant table onto the middle of the garden covering them with white, clean drape.
Claude poured three eggs into a bowl, A valuable souls... He whipped the yellow and white yolks with mixer as Thompson held a timer in his hand, as the two shuffled backward with spear still pierced through their heads.
Delicious souls... Claude then poured rich cream onto now mixed yolks as he whipped it sharply. If different souls have different flavours, The spider demon looked up, his eyes wondering to Ciel before to me, lasting little longer, Then what souls would a demon want to obstinately pursue? Ciel Phantomhive... Yuri Park.
Suddenly, something wet and creamy hit his glasses, blocking the views. He realised it was a cream, "Oh, I am sorry." A voice said sarcastically.
"I was slightly bothered by the way you were staring at the young master and Yuri." He smirked, "It looked just like you were trying to imagine how their soul would taste."
The spider demon's eyes narrowed, before he too flicked the mixture toward the fellow demon, who easily let it slide past and vice versa.
The Viscount let out more awe gasps as he watched the antagonistic action between the two demons all while doing their respective jobs.
"I will not allow you to touch the young master and Yuri's soul," Sending a warning glare, "Nor lick it." With loud clang, Claude dropped the whisker into the empty bowl and looked over Sebastian's shoulder. The place where puddles of creams should have been was nothing one would imagine of.
It was a statue made out of creams, depicting a snake that coiled its body around a woman attempting to escape who's outstretched arm screamed for help. While Sebastian's was something ironic for a demon's creation, it was an Athena, Goddess of war standing triumphantly onto defeated snake.
"Wow!" The Viscount exclaimed, an excited look filled Alois.
Claude licked the excess cream in his glasses while Sebastian jabbed cherries into the snake.
"Useless entertainment." Ciel scoffed.
Alois stood up, pulling me to my feet, "Come on, Yuri. You look famished." I trotted behind him mindlessly as he guided me down as the Viscount and Ciel closely followed.
As we sat down, Claude and Sebastian seemed to have a fight who was to pull the chair out for me, rolling my eyes I outstretched my arm to pull the seat while two was busy fighting over such idle subject, I found the chair was already pulled back.
It was...
Ciel.
"Thank you." I sat down, as he pushed the seat forward closer to the table and wordlessly walked back much Alois' dismay.
The two butlers quickly recovered as Claude introduced the today's snack, "Today's sweet is Puits d'Amour: puff pastry filled with crème patisserie and raspberry jam."
Alois looked at me expectedly, understanding what he wanted I picked up the fork, cut small chunk of the pie as I spoon fed it to his mouth as he chewed them slowly. He took his fork and cut out some of his before bringing up to my lip which I opened up hesitantly. I wasn't hungry at all.
So unlike me, I thought. Where was my monster-like appetite gone? I never thought, these days would come where I would refuse food.
Clank
"E-E-Excellent!" Viscount stuttered, his head down so his bang was covering his eyes, when he lifted however, tears was formed in the corner of his eyes as if he tasted Heaven, "This puit d'amour...the silk like ensemble played out by the rich cream and sour raspberry is like the Silk Road of taste!"
The Viscount imagined as if he was riding a camel on top of the round pie, "You feel thirsty; you want to eat more and more! My palate feels like the Taklamakan Desert! Are you perhaps Marco Polo of taste?!"
He remained silent, watching me feed Alois while neglecting my own.
"Forêt Noire." Sebastian introduced his own cooking to us after the pie, "Chocolate sponge cake centred with cherries in syrup, garnished with white cream." He poured Ciel's tea, "The tea is Keemun of the finest quality, which I ordered directly from the Qing province of Anhui." Putting the tea down beside his plate.
"Ah." Was his reply as he brought up small sponge to his mouth, hesitating to devour the food as he glared at us spoon feeding each other. Such childish manner, he thought.
"T-T-Très bien!" Viscount suddenly screamed out, startling Ciel non stop much to his annoyance.
"This Forêt Noire...the chocolate rich aroma brings out the scent of the cherries. This sweetness and delicate flavour are like surging waves after a round trip. It's like the Age of Discoveries of taste! It's so delicious it makes my head spin more and more! My palate feels like Ptolemaic Theory! Are you perhaps the Vasco da Gama of taste?" Sebastian gratefully bowed.
The blond Viscout suddenly clutched his head as if his head was about to crack, "It is so hard to choose a winner! I'm...I'm...I'm so moved, I will go and pick some flowers!" He danced out of his chair, circling around us before heading toward the manner.
"The water closet is that way." Claude pointed to the East side.
As Viscount sang and danced away into oblivion, the tense returned to the table once more.
"What's with that guy?" Ciel distastefully regarded.
Soon, the sun went down that the sky hue was orange red that seemed to suit the sinister mood it brought about in the battlefield after the Viscount was sent home.
"Well then, let us resume our ball."
Sebastian took a posture that of a gentleman asking for a dance, "Shall we dance?"
"Fine. Well then." Discarding his spectacle and one of his glove, he pulled Hannah clamping his hand around her head as he forced his hand down her throat. I always shivered in disgust at this scene.
Soon, Claude pulled out a long, green thorn like sword from her mouth much to Alois' disgust and curiosity of Ciel.
"That is..."
Sebastian however, recognised the sword right away, letting out awe admiration to the weapon, "Oh! What do we have here? An ancient, mystical sword, clad in eternal darkness: Laevatinn." He looked at recovering Hannah in surprise, "I did not expect you to possess such an excellent item."
Positioning the sword by his side, "I simply thought I would pay you due respect since you occasioned this ball. Well then, let us commence the Danse Macabre." The red slit eyes flashed Claude's eyes before the two demon bolted toward each other.
Claude aimed his sword toward Sebastian's head which he captured the weapon in-between his hands easily. Sebastian flipped backward, bringing his own knives out only to be swiftly broken by the ancient sword. Claude did not give the fellow demon any time to recover before advancing the sword once again, it missed but it managed to slice off some of Sebastian's hair and the chess piece he was leaning against easily carved through the stone as if it was some soft material.
Alois walked over to Ciel's, boasting, "Look at Claude's sword, Ciel."
"Ah. It's pretty scary." He stoically replied as Alois took seat next to Ciel.
The Phantomhive Earl sent a glare in his way before replacing it with a smirk, "Would you mind showing me your house, Alois Trancy?"
"Fine." He said with a grin, "Come on, Yuri. Ciel want to look at our house." The two stood up, heading toward the manor, guiding me along as Sebastian gave a rather disappointed smile all while avoiding attacks sent by Claude.
"My, my. I do not approve of you going away and leaving this dance to the butler, young master. I would say that looking away in the midst of the dance is even less acceptable!"
The sword angrily smashed away the concrete floor beneath, "Are you perhaps so crazed for that boy's soul and that human feelings you have obtained for that girl that you are losing your demonic intuition?"
"Ha! Do you have the right to say that when you too in fact have been stained with human emotions?" Sebastian narrowed his eyes in displease when something thin and sharp had sliced his cheek.
It was the Trancy's infamous steel spider webs he had been trapped in.
Meanwhile, I could feel my heart hammering against my rib painfully as we reached to the climax destination.
"Hey, where are you going?" Alois grumbled tiredly, noticing we had walked for a rather long time.
"I've had enough of this play." Ciel muttered, elegantly slipping off his gloves onto the floor, "Count Alois Trancy, I hereby challenge you to a duel with swords."
"Eh~? Are you perhaps.." Alois trailed off then his eyes went over to me. Ciel took the two swords from the statues' hands and threw one over to Alois for him to catch as they shed the sheath, revealing hard, dense steel glistening under the hue light.
The Count Trancy poked the sharp edge in curiosity who never held something like this before and trying out the sharpness and weight of the weapon in his hand.
I glanced behind to see the Viscount looking at us in wonder, the damn portrait still in his arms.
"I have never fought a duel before." He commented lightly, "You can choose the rules, Ciel."
"We will stand back and start walking at the call of 'allez'." He explained, "At the tenth step, we will turn and commence the fight."
Alois pondered for a second before smiling agreeably, "Got it. Sounds interesting."
"My! A duel!" Viscount grinned admiringly, "A fight of love for the woman's heart?!"
Alois walked over to me who was leaning against wall, he must have noticed my darkened expression because he asked, "Your expression..it is sad..what's wrong, Yuri?"
"..This...can't you not do it?"
A bright smile appeared on his lip, "You're worried about me? Are you? I'm so happy that someone like you would worry about someone like me! Don't worry, I will win and we can play like last time." He reassured.
With that, he twirled to walk back to the floor, my fingers that was lightly gripping onto his hem slipping through my fingertips like sand as his back got more smaller and smaller.
They stood facing back to each other in little distant that their back was not touching with the dislike they shared for each other as Ciel who was more experienced in this subject held up his sword professionally while Alois simply dangled his by his side with a excited smile.
"Allez!" They shouted and from there they started to take a step.
"One."
"Two."
"Three."
"Four."
"Five! Ah..." Ciel turned to attack only to notice a sword warningly glaring at him.
Alois smirked, "No cheating."
Ciel's surprise look suddenly twisted into an anger, "You!" And the sword clanged loudly against the two steels to the pleasure of the Viscount.
"This is important, Yuri..I need you to...let Alois die."
Clang clang clang
Using the advantage Claude has over Sebastian who was trapped in sharp, complicating webs and the hardness of the strand he used lævateinn in his hand to hit against it, creating small vibrations through out the whole cords that pierced still Sebastian. Each course of vibration and even the tiniest movement of the shred managed to make enough dense through his clothes and skin as blood seeped out of the wounds, displeasure evident in Sebastian's eyes to the spider demon.
The fighting continued up the stairs where many shelves containing books were lined up and while Ciel seemed to have the upper experience and being the attacker but Alois had an upper hand in defence and good at escaping attacks despite his lack of experience in sword duel.
"Don't get so fired up!" Alois laughed as he easily escaped being cornered like an eel-something that seemed to anger Ciel who due to his asthma was getting tired fast, "Let's enjoy this dance, Ciel."
"Come on. One, two, three. One, two, three." The roles switched and as Ciel was backed and backed into the corner, Alois crudely used the opportunity of his coming tiredness to give him not break to recover. Ciel felt his back hit the library rail as Alois grasped his neck and pushed him off to the floor which he landed with loud thud.
"There!" Alois playfully jumped down, walking over to fallen Ciel and tapped his sword on the floor near Ciel's cheek in mocking manner, "At last, I got you, Ciel."
This was it, I thought. Just like in the anime, it was going in the same timeline.
Bending down and putting the sword by Ciel's neck to discourage even the smallest movement in feat that Ciel will not get up without hurting himself, "Sebastian wants to eat your soul, right?" Alois pressed the sword against his neck harder, "But that won't happen. I'll cut into pieces and feed it to the spiders of this house. Sebastian will feel so chagrined."
Excited laughter escaped his lip, "I cannot wait."
"The soul of the Queen's Watchdog is not so cheap as to become the food of spiders." Ciel retorted, smirking in satisfaction to get a stir of anger from Alois, "If you're ready to have your legs bitten off, feel free to try."
"So you still have enough energy for cheek." He raised the sword higher, pointing the sharp edge toward Ciel's heart, "Just give up, once and for all, and become mine! If you disappear-Yuri won't be held back by you any more!" He force down the sword, aiming toward his heart only to gasp in surprise when Ciel caught the steel by his hand, "Finally, I caught you." The sword trembled between the two opponents' hands, Ciel ignoring the red blood spurting out from his hand.
"Young master!" The door burst open, as Sebastian, Hannah, Claude and Viscount ran inside. Sebastian, Claude and Viscount let out a surprised gasps as they saw the scene.
Alois' whole body shook and trembled, his eyes staring with unbelievable look at the sword that pierced his side. He collapsed into his knee and the more blood gushed out of the wound.
"Oh, my! Blood!" Viscount fainted.
There was a moment of silence before Alois collapsed and let out a loud screams and wriggled in pain, "That hurts!" In moment of spur instinct, I ran toward kneeling down as I applied pressure against the wound to stop from any more blood loss. Gently, I held him in a sitting position so that the heart was above the wound level.
I froze when a sword came in my view, it was Ciel pointing the weapon once again on Alois, "Move."
"He's bleeding! He needs surgery and blood transfusion now!" I shouted, trying to reason with his pride.
The whole room broke out of incomprehensible arguments as Alois scream started to get louder.
"SHUT UP!" The whole room went silent.
"What?" Ciel frowned at my choice of words.
"Shut your mouth." There was a glint of surprise in trio eyes, "Listen to me. Here's an order." I told to Ciel, "I'm going to cure him first since this is something that couldn't have happen if I tried, and you can kill Alois or whatever after that but he can't die now." He didn't reply in shock or surprise or whatever. I didn't wait to found out.
I gently peeled off the sticky materials, thankfully a rather shallow cut. I hope he didn't need to have his damaged organ sutured, "Turn every light on here. It's gotta be bright here." Hannah turned the light on, "And somebody bring me boiled water and oh, bring as many clean cloths as you can." In seconds, the triplets put the thing down next to their fallen master.
I realised there was no antibiotics or whatever here, and the close approximation of too many people near Alois, I made surrender position with my hands to signal them to move back, "You guys, step back! Don't even come near him! You're all full of germs!" If he stays on this dirty place, he could develop pneumonia... But first dressing the wound would be more crucial.
"Hannah, bring me alcohol, something that's really strong." She gave me a puzzled look at the bizarre materials I need but nonetheless wordlessly went to get it. Soon, she came back holding onto a clear bottle containing clear liquid inside. I presumed it was either vodka or spirits.
I took it from her, opening the bottle and sniffing the content inside. My nose felt overwhelmed at the strong scent the alcohol let out and probably guessed it was over 50% ABV. The rest of the occupies in the room watched in curiosity as I soak my hands and the bandages with it before pouring the whole content on to his wound for sterilisation.
Using the clean, dry cloth to clean his wounds I cursed my lack of knowledge of medical; I'd have either performed the surgery myself or at least stitch up the wounds but if this does goes in anime timeline..he will surely..
Shaking my head out of thoughts, I tightly but gently dressed his wounds and made the triplets to move him to his room in something like a gurney to Ciel's dismay.
He suddenly collapsed into Sebastian's arms, wheezing and coughing. More likely he was having an asthma attack due to the sudden activity, "It seems I cannot let you dance in this condition. I am sorry but we are leaving now. You looked beautiful today, Yuri." Caressing my cheek so lightly and fast that the only evidence was the small, lingering trace of his presence as he quickly bowed to me and a glare toward Claude and hastily walked out of the ball leaving me and Claude.
I realised my knee literally gave out even when I was seating and using my only functional limbs which was my arms to try and pick up the bloody clothes that was used as a suction and bowls containing now cooled water, I sat for a some time being while Claude equally stood, staring down at me.
Looking down at what Claude was staring, I realised just about everything of me was covered in blood. I tried to smile brightly, in effort to lighten the mood but I don't like it.
"..I know, I look dirty right?" I half heartedly asked, attempting to stand up only to stagger back down embarrassingly back onto the floor, "Um...can you please clean them up for me, I'll go check on Alois...as soon as I have my legs back."
Claude sighs, "It is deemed improper to say 'leg' in mixed company; it would be prudent for a lady to refer it as limb." Suddenly, Claude bent down and scoop me up easily.
"W-Woah, wait-I just need some minute-"
"It would be a waste of time to you and I. I will have Hannah clean this mess up, you should get some rest since humans are weak creatures. Do not worry about master, it is my job as the butler to look after him." The last part of the sentenced worried me, I mean he did, after all, not care even a bit for Alois.
"..Thanks." I managed to mutter in small, timid voice, "I really appreciate it."
He remained quiet as he walked upstairs toward my room and tucked me in, still in my bloody robe. When he about to close the door, he clearly made his opinion known, "The blood suits you. If possible, I would like to see you in them again."
...This is rather worrying.
