I got a lot of stories on hand, and I can't juggle all of them. For now, here's a line-up of the stories that will be updated: Haunted Rumors, Haunted Curiosity, Alice in Horrorland, then Midnight's Child. One story that will be a favor for a friend of mine (xxMespit's Mistressxx) is called The Purple Jewel that held a Secret will be completed under my lead. For now, I haven't updated Haunted Rumors or Haunted Curiosity, so I should get to work. This one is Haunted Rumors.

I don't own the characters, places or titles. Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir belongs to Nintendo, and Devil Survivor 2 belongs to Atlus. I only own Lily and how I use the characters.

THE STORY SO FAR…

After playing the little boy's game, Altus, Io, and Lily arrive at an old house that seems to be occupied by a woman who wears a black dress stained with blood. Altus, being under the pressure, asks the woman if the woman has seen Daichi, but there was no sign, as she said. Being pushed around again, Altus is told to go upstairs by Io's command, and he finds an orange cell phone and a note, which is meant for him…

The note was rather messy, as if the person writing it was in a hurry to get it done. I could only make out a few words, like "Help", "Bedroom", and "Hurry". I immediately hurry to the bedroom as fast as my legs could carry me and looked at each of the numerous rooms that were there. Once I got downstairs, the camera was starting to respond to the note… what was going on here? I look at the note with the camera again, and I saw the two circles appear again, this time, focused on the note I found.

"What do you have there, Altus?" Io asks me. I shrug, showing her the note. I see her trying to read the note, but was unsuccessful in deciphering the note. I take back the note, trying to align the circles to each other. Once that happens, I saw the note become totally black, and all of a sudden, I got a weird vision…

"Where am I?! I want to go home, now!" I was in what seems to be a garden, surrounded by flowering vines and ivy. I look down at my legs, and some of the vines were growing on me, so I couldn't go anywhere and I can't see who's in the garden.

"You did hear the rumors, and yet, you failed to heed them. You were told many times and look at the trouble you're in." I tried to remove the vines from my legs as carefully as possible, but when my arm gets close, the vines started to work up my body.

"B-but… I thought they were false. I didn't believe in them…"

"Well, you should listen to the warnings next time… I'll let you keep your face, but you must never leave the house… understand?"

"I…I…. I understand. Thank you for the second chance."

I suddenly wake up in the living room, lying on the ground, Io and Lily staring down at me. Was I really in that room, or was I just imagining it?

"Altus… Are you okay? You were looking at the note with the camera, and then you passed out."

"I think Daichi's here in this house. Just look at the note…" I said, passing the note to Lily. The message was clear, and it was also Daichi's handwriting.

"I have no idea what I got myself into. At first, I thought the rumors were just stories, but now, I think I may never get out of here. I was taken to the bedroom after this note was written, and I… can't move… I can't see or say a word… what's going on? Someone… help me… I don't want to stay here…"

"Altus… we need to hurry… I don't want to stay here anymore…" Io whimpers, messing around with her hair. I ignore her request and hurried upstairs so I can find the bedroom… Daichi's got to be in there.

Sorry it's so short, but I have to keep some suspense in the story. Please review the story. Much like the other chapters, I haven't been getting reviews, so please do.
