Harvey won the poker game. He won at the last second and scared the hell out of everyone. Despite his victory Jessica's still mad at him. How dare he turn legal business into a card game? How dare he risk the reputation of Pearson and Hardman? He was out of control. He would not be let of this easily, next time. Of course Harvey didn't get any real punishment; everyone knows Jessica only ever slaps him on the wrists. But Harvey knew she was right this time. Harvey could tell that within himself something had changed. There was some hollow feeling nagging at him to take the risks just for that rush. He wanted, no, he needed that adrenaline rush to cover something up, to forget that it was missing. It was a problem and Harvey would solve it.
The door was cautiously opened, after all, who would visit Donna at such a late hour? There stood Harvey Specter, drenched in a cold sweat. He stood there, breathing hard, shaking a bit. Donna was stunned, and for once, didn't know what to say. She she moved her lips to form a simple "what", but before a a sound slipped out Harvey pushed his lips against hers, a tentative touch which quickly melted into a heated embrace. He pulled away, takes time to inspect Donna's expression. She stood there, slowly opening her eyes. "Donna, I miss you," Harvey ventured.
"Wow first a sorry to that woman yesterday and now an I miss you. Aren't you getting soft," Donna laughed. Harvey smiled but still he looked to her desperately seeking an answer. "Why don't you come inside," Donna grinned, pulling open the door.
Harvey strode into her home, "Donna I'm serious," He walked a few feet further, then turned, facing Donna.
"I know, I miss you too," Donna was serious.
Harvey stepped forward, attempting to say something to Donna but not being able to find the words. He crinkled is eyebrows together, his infamous frustrated look.
"Harvey…" Donna whispered.
Harvey kissed Donna once more, lightly this time.
"Harvey, we can't," Donna whispered, she was dizzy. She couldn't handle Harvey this close to her, one hand on her shoulder, one on her arm. "I can't…"
"Why not," It wasn't even a question. "Donna, please," Harvey pleaded.
"Oh, a please," A halfhearted joke to diffuse to situation. "What's next, a thank you?"
The scene fades away from the two, forehead to forehead, wrapped in each other's arms.
