Chapter 2-
When Lucinda Gem reached Oa, she was surprised to find out that everyone was gone.

"Where am I..."she said, taking a step forward.

"You are on Oa, outside the central battery." A male voice said.

Startled, Lucinda took a huge step back, tripping over a twig, causing her to fall onto the young man's feet.

"I'm sorry, I'M SORRY!" she said, panicked. She began to run around, thinking that she had ruined her reputation as a Green Lantern already.

"It's okay." The young man said. "Are you the new Lantern?"

"Yes..." Lucinda said.

"Okay." The young man said."My name is Sodam Yat, but you can call me Ion. And your name is?"

"Lucinda Gem" Lucinda said. "Where are all the other Lanterns?"

"They are off fighting the Black Lanterns. They won't be back for a while. I was assigned to patrol Sector 0 along with Guy Gardner and John Stewart. Speaking of which, I should take you to meet the Guardians so they can get you enrolled in boot camp." Sodam replied.

"I have to go to boot camp?" Lucinda asked.

"All rookies have to go there. Is there something wrong with that?" Sodam asked.

"No..."Lucinda replied.

"You wouldn't have to share a room with anybody."Sodam said."You will get your own quarters in the dormitory because your home planet is far away from Oa. You are from Earth, aren't you?"

"Yes I am..." Lucinda replied.

"Ah. That's cool."Sodam said. " I am from Daxam."

Notes: Sorry I took 3 months to update this story! I don't really have time for Fanfiction, due to school, studying, homework, exams etc. I will probably update again at Christmas break.
